Be My Escape. Prologue.

Okayyy, so this whole fic takes place in sunny & beautiful California, but Amanda's Life was far from that. When she was 7, her Dad walked out on her and her mom. Since then, they have been evicted from their appartment numerous times, and gone through too many minimum wage jobs to count. Instead of growing closer through the experience, Amanda & her mom have formed a hatred towards each other. In recent years, her mom has actually developed an alcohol problem, and more often than not, she turns abusive. Amanda has convinced herself that her father will come back. That he will swoop in and save her from this nightmare that she calles her life, but slowly... she is loosing faith. On Amanda's 17th bithday, there was a knock at the door. Could it be Amanda's wish finally comming true? Or maybe it was the person she least expected... The only thing she knew was that on the other side of that ratty appartment door, lies someone who was bound to change her life forever.

hey, ede! you on?!?! man i've missed you (and the rest of the fam) i stayed home sick today. bleh... i hate being sick. i didn't even get to do anything fun either, cuz as soon as i'd sneak on the computer my mom would be like "get off and rest!" so i basically slept THE WHOLE DAY!!! and i still feel bad. lol. oops, srry for talking on your story...
