I could pick up all your tears
Throw 'em in the backseat
Leave without a second glance
Somehow I'm to blame for this never ending racetrack you call life
Summer was Nick Jonas's best friend. They had met when they were in Annie Get Your Gun together. Summer wore her heart on her sleeve, and after Nick moved to LA, she lost it. She dyed her hair black and wore heavy eyeliner, hiding how beautiful she was. Nick remained loyal, calling and texting every day.

She was in Grease when she met Jack. She was 18, he was 19. He mistreated her, taking advantage of her fragile state and they were always on and off again. It killed Nick. He secretly loved her, and didn't want anything to hurt her.

Jack and Summer went to bars all the time, did drugs. Slowly, she lost all her friends. They couldn't see the girl they became friends with anymore. That girl stayed in on a friday night, with her best friends and watched bad chick flicks. This girl went out every night to dirty, disgusting bars until she passed out on the floor and arrived home quite on accident. They all tried to warn her. But she wouldn't listen. Nick though, Nick stayed. He answered her phone calls even if it was three in the morning on the tour bus. He would hold her hair back and pick her up from bars when he was home.

and that road was not for me
They got back together. Just like Nick knew they would. It was now months later. And Nick got a phone call. "It was Summer. "I'm engaged!" She screamed. Nick's heart broke in a million pieces. The girl he loved was going to be gone. With tears in his eyes,he said, "Don't do it. Your changing! Your not Summer anymore!" His voice raised."I, I, I love you." Then his voice broke and he hung up.

It was the day of Summer's wedding. Nick sat in his parents house staring blankly at a wall. They had gone to the wedding, and Nick was left alone. A doorbell interrupted his nothingness and he walked glumly there, trudging his bare feet. He swung open the door. Standing there was Summer. In a white dress. Tears filled her eyes and she threw herself on Nick. "I love you too." She said through her sobs. She did a a hard thing. She'd turned right.
