“You can’t go” He pleaded placing his hands over her
“I don’t have a choice either way I have to go” She said looking down at their hands one on top of the other.
“Please don’t leave me” He whispered making it that much harder to let go and leave him here in this town. With her family and leaving a whole other half behind part that wasn’t related to her.
“I will come back” She promised in a whisper taking her hands from his and walking out the door and out of his life. For now.
“You will see him again in the future” Her mom said as the glistening tears ran down her cheeks “Everything will be alright baby doll” She promised her daughter as every tear and every mile broke her heart into more and more pieces shattering each time with a crack.
“How can I believe that while Nick is sitting back there in the cafe” She asked her mom looking back out her window the cafe distant she could barely make out the place she had left him sitting.
