Got Me Going Crazy Chapter 1 Deja Vu's apartment 10:00 AM April 15

"Wake up sleepy head,"greeted Alyssa. Alyssa was a famous celebrity , just like the rest of the girls I shared an apartment with; except Alyssa was my sister. "Huh,"I grumbled. "It's 10:00 in the morning Elle, you got to wake up, everyone is still at Starbucks having breakfast,"continued Alyssa. "Fine, Fine, Fine,"I said getting up out of bed sluggishly. I rushed to the closet, which was past Alyssa's bed. I pulled out a red peace shirt and looked around for some matching pants. I picked out my favorite pair of ripped skinny jeans. I grabbed my white Converse sneakers. "Are you ready,"asked Alyssa walking out of the bathroom. She walked to her closet which was next to my closet and pulled a black beret from her neatly organized top shelf. Alyssa had let her blond hair down. She had a gray collared shirt dress with gray tights and black boots and a black beret. We both walked out of the apartment, locked the door and rushed outside into the California air and down the street to Starbucks. We ran into Starbucks where Alyssa led me to the back table, where everyone else seemed to be huddled with either coffee or hot chocolate. "Nice shoes Elle,"commented Vikki as I sat next to her. I looked down at my used to be white Converse sneakers that are now presently a gray color.I envied Vikki's perfect casual outfit. Vikki was wearing her black and white striped long sleeved shirt with a purple sweat shirt and plum leggings and purple Converse. Vikki's black hair was let down and straightened. I got a sudden chill and wrapped my sweater tighter around my body. "Eva how are you not getting cold,"I asked Eva who was wearing a black mini skirt with a red t-shirt and brick red heels. "I don't feel anything,"she answered running her fingers through her short dark brown hair. I stood up and walked to the end of the line to get a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. All of my friends had coffee except for Mollie and I, but all of my friends are celebrity's except for me so I'm always used to being the black sheep of the group. My sister was in a group called Deja Vu. Eva played drums, Alyssa played lead guitar, Mollie played bass guitar and Vikki sang. Me, well I was the groupie. I ordered my drink and waited at a table where they would have my hot chocolate ready. "Hey Elle,"greeted Mollie. Mollie was 20 and was the oldest out of all of us, since Eva, Vikki, and Lyssa were 18, and I was 17 the youngest (probably why I wasn't in the band). "Hey Mollie whats up,"I replied, thanking the staff member who handed me my hot chocolate. "Nothing too much,"she said. "Are you going to our sound check today?" "Uh, I don't think I have a choice," I joked. Luckily, Mollie catched the sarcasm. "Good,"replied Mollie patting my shoulder. Mollie wore a light blue long sleeved shirt with a dark blue trench coat and black jeans and blue open toed heels and her black lens crafters, which she always wore when she wasn't on stage or at a photo shoot. I sat down with everyone else and tried not to look at the passing by people that were looking at us in awe and searching pockets for scrap pieces of paper and pens. "So when's the." But Vikki was interrupted by a large crowd of people trying to get into Starbucks. The door slammed and a gust of wind came in. "MILEY!"screeched a little girl who looked about seven. "Hey yall,"Miley called. We all looked to Alyssa. Miley and Alyssa never got to together well since Nick supposedly had a crush on Alyssa, after breaking up with Miley and before he was dating Selena. "Hey, girls,"greeted Miley to the us. She stared at Alyssa with her round blue eyes and flipped her hair and walked away.We all looked at each other then rolled our eyes. Drama queen i thought to myself. "Are we all done?"asked Vikki going to the trash can and throwing her cup away. We all nodded. "Let's get ready for the sound check,"told Vikki we all walked out of the Starbucks.

Chapter 2 Range Rover 3:30 April 15th

I rubbed my forehead. Mollie, Eva, Alyssa, and Vikki were practicing vocal practices. "Zeeeeee-aaaaaah,"the all sang. I sat in the front with Joseph, our driver. He knew I was in pain as the girls in the back sang a new warm up. Joseph returned me a I-know look and continued to keep driving our huge black Range Rover. *************** "Hello Girls,"welcomed our manager Michelle with a wide grin, everyone waved and smiled friendly. She defiantly was not like most managers. She was reasonably strict unlike the kind of managers you see in most of the movies and T.V. shows. She was more nice then strict but knew when to take control. She was kind of like a mother to me and Alyssa since our parents had died. Everyone else's parents can't follow them on tour all the time because of their younger siblings. Michelle was also Mollie's aunt. "AHHHHHHH ITS ELLIE!", screamed a voice from behind Michelle. I recognized the voice anywhere, it was my best friend Sydney. "AHHHHH ITS SYDNEY!", I returned running to her and embracing her in a huge hug. Sydney was a family friend and also my best friend (so were Alyssa, Eva, Mollie, and Vikki, but Sydney was my age). "Hey guys,"she waved at the rest of the crew. "Heeyyyy,"welcomed Alyssa and Mollie coming over toward us. "Are we still up for the shopping tommorrow?"asked Sydney looking at Mollie hopefully, Mollie was Sydney's cousin, Sydney was also Michelle's daughter. "When did I mention shopping?"stopped. "Just now thanks, I'm sure it will be soooo much fun,"quickly responded Sydney. That was Sydney, very quick. "Do you like my new outfit Elle's?"asked Sydney after Alyssa patted her head and both Mollie and Alyssa walked away to grab their instruments. She twirled around as if she was a ballerina. I laughed. "I just noticed it, it looks great!"i exclaimed. Sydney wore her light dirty brown hair in pigtails with a black and white striped long-sleeved shirt with a red checkered scarf with light blue skinny jeans with a black belt and black and red converse high tops with a tote purse that looked at big record. "Nice bag, Sids,"commented Eva she waved and blew a kiss to us. Eva wore red skinny jeans and a Twilight movie shirt, her short dark brown hair was in a short side pony tail, which always meant she was going to have to get set up for makeup. Eva hated that. Eva couldn't keep still she always had to walk around. Sydney and I waved and kept chatting. ******************** "Hola girls,"greeted Vikki walking toward us from the other end of the stage. "Whoa,"said Sydney her eyes widening. "Is that you Vikki?"she asked. I was amazed too. Vikki's stylist had unclipped Vikki's bangs so they barely touched her eyelashes and had her hair in a high messy bun on top of her head. Vikki was dressed in red tank top and in a red and white mini skirt with black capri tights and white hightops. "You should see Lyss,"commented Vikki. Sydney and I gave each other a quick glance at each other and ran across the stage, past the left wing, down the hall to the left and into the dressing/makeup room. "OMG,"squealed everyone else in the dressing room. Amanda (the makeup artist) applied blush to Alyssa as she stood tall and proud for her friends. They had straightened Alyssa's honey blond hair and had her wear a white t-shirt that said Deja Vu in big hot pink block letters. She wore black skinny jeans with hot pink tall boots and a red chunky bracelet. "Hello beautifuls,"butted Eva coming into the dressing room. She was already dressed. She had a gray tank top with a black and white polka dot mini-skirt with black fish net tights with knee cap high black boots and a black choker. "You look great,"commented Sydney. "We're ready to practice guys come on,"said Mollie, dragging the rest of the girls out of the dressing room wearing a purple and magenta striped long sleeved shirt with gray capri's and white boots. "Fine,"pouted Vikki and Alyssa crossing their arms across their chests and walked out of the room following Eva and Mollie. Sydney and I trailed Alyssa. Michelle stopped Sydney and I. "Syd did you say you and the girls were shopping for the concert tomorrow,"asked Michelle. "Ya, Mollie is driving us,"told Sydney looking at her mom. "OK just making sure,"she replied, she smiled at us waved then ran off to catch up with the band. "Wait I'm confused, it's not just Alyssa and the crew preforming right?" asked Sydney walking across the stage jumping over wires and dodging backstage crew members who were walking absentmindedly. Deja Vu was playing at a concert for President Obama and his family, so were the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus would be preforming. Oh god, I thought, this is going to be intresting. The only reason why Deja Vu had to come early was because the group was preforming first. It was a dressy concert and after the concert the girls would sit in the seats in the V.I.P. section. "Hi girls,"greeted Tia the clothes artist. She was about 25 and knew what was hot and not. "OMG they all look ah-mazing,"I exclaimed.Tia beamed. "Well guess what I got you girls,"answered Tia motioning us to come toward the dressing room again. When we got there she pulled out two dresses out of the closet. Sydney and I both squealed. "Here's a dress for you Syd, and here's one for you,"finished Tia patting us on the heads waving at us and walking out of the dressing to catch up with the band. Sydney held her pink empire waist dress to her body. She skipped to the closet and picked out a pair of matching pink heels. "OMG it's so pretty,"I gushed. "I know,"Sydney replied giggling. She sat at a chair in front of a mirror and pondered about what to do with her hair. I looked at my white ruffle layer dress. I rushed to the mirror to choose my makeup. "OUCH, oh my god I think it's broken,"cried someone. I snapped my head around it sure sounded a lot like Alyssa's voice. "It's gonna be okay Lyss,"replied Vikki. I rushed out of the the dressing room and bumped into Eva. I fell to the ground and my dress fell out of my hand and onto the floor. As I looked behind me I saw Alyssa being carried to the dressing room by Michelle and Vikki. I followed them. "Here use this to wipe up the blood,"suggested Eva. I walked into the room finding Alyssa sitting on the tan, plush couch with her pink boot pulled off her foot, her foot that had no boot was bleeding uncontrollably. Eva was using a large white ruffled piece of white cloth to wipe the blood. I realized what the white cloth was. "Oh my god Eva that's my dress,"I screamed. "Ellie, what do you care more about, your sister's foot or your stupid dress,"asked Eva harshly flashing me a extremely dirty look. I ignored the look and tryed not to care about the dress being ruined. "Lyss what happened to your foot,"I asked sitting next to Alyssa giving her a hug. "Miley came and then I was talking to her with nobody around me, you know, and she walked away and purposely stabbed my little toe with her high heel,"Alyssa explained. I gasped. "What a stupid person, she can't be mad at you for Nick liking you,"I exclaimed. Alyssa nodded. "I think it stopped bleeding,"announced Eva putting the blood covered dress next to her. Leah came behind Eva. "Uh Eva, what's this,"asked Tia pointing at the dress. I tried not to bust out laughing. "Uh, Ellie dropped it so I grabbed it to stop the bleeding,"explained Eva looking at Leah with an innocent look. I could tell Tia wasn't buying it. "Eva! I desgined this for Ellie, now I don't have anything else for Ellie to wear, it's all in the." Tia stopped. "Oh my god you guys"muttered Alyssa shaking her head. "Don't tell me it's in Miley's room,"said Michelle looking at us with a oh-no-you-guys look on her face. "Someone's gonna have to go get it,"told Tia she looked at Eva with a smirk on her face. "OH no, don't look at me,"noticed Eva. "Your the one that ruined it,"Tia pointed out. Eva looked at me as if I was going to go get the dress myself. I flashed her a i-told-you-so look. She looked away and scowled. "Fine I'll do it,"she said. She looked away. "Thanks Eva, get ready to go get the dress we only have an hour to get changed,"told Tia patting Eva's back. "Ugh, you guys are so mean,"muttered Eva under her breath, but I was the only one to hear it. Chapter 3 (Eva's side of the story) Miley's dressing room 4:45 April 15th "Stupid Tia,"I thought to myself as I quietly tip-toed across to Miley's dressing room. "Miley, you have practice now,"said a stern voice interrupting Miley's hysterical laughters. I scowled knowing that Miley was laughing at Alyssa. I pressed my back against the back of her door which was open, so that meant that i had only a small sliver to fit through. I saw her walk through with a white speghetti strap dress with a black belt and black high top Converse. Once Miley was out of sight I peeked around the door to find that no one was in the dressing room. I quickly rushed into the dressing room and ran to the closet. I opened it to find a wide arrange of dresses. One turquiose mini ruffle layer dress, another long tan tank top dress. I looked around to find a smaller one (because Leah didn't tell me the dress that she wanted me to get). I grabbed the dress and rushed toward the other dressing room, thanking everything that Miley didn't catch me in her dressing room. *************** "Did you get the dress Eva?"asked Alyssa she was putting her pink boot back on her foot gingerly. "Ya, its so beautiful,"I commented handing the dress to Ellie. She looked at the dress, her hazel eyes wide. "Oh my goodness Eva this is bee-u-tiful!"she exclaimed running to the bathroom to change. I felt somewhat in a better mood than I did, while following Alyssa out of the room. "Hey Eva,"said Sydney. I turned around. Sydney was tying her hair into two messy buns on both sides of her head. The messy style looked pretty with her dress. "Yeah Sid,"I answered. "Where's Leah?"Sydney asked grabbing two pink earrings and putting them in her ears. "She's sitting down in the V.I.P. section, the show is gonna start soon, and she'll see us after the show,"I explained. "Oh, Okay thanks Eva,"she replied. "No prob,"I finished. I walked out of the room where someone handed me my drum sticks and informed me I was on in 15 minutes. Chapter 4 (Ellie's side of the story) Deja Vu's dressing room 5:30 April 15th I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped with delight. I worked my dirty brown hair in a low side ponytail. I worked my makeup to a natural color with a bit of red lipstick and a bit of clear gloss. My dress looked breath taking on me, if i should say so myself. I heard a laugh come from out of the dressing room. It sounded like Vikki's flirty laugh. Oh god I thought to myself. I sweeped to the door to open it a crack and widened my eyes and pressed the door closed with my back and caught my breath. I quickly sweeped to the mirror and checked myself to see how I looked once more. My hazel eyes shined bright, contrasting in a good way with my red dress. I sweeped to the door and cracked my knuckles before I walked out of the door. "Oh my god Ellie you look stunning,"commented Vikki. The whole band was in front of the dressing room with no one other than the Jonas Brothers. My favorite Jonas Brother was Joe and I had always had a huge crush on him. "Hi, I said meekly raising my hand slightly to wave. I looked at the Jonas Brothers expressions. Nick looked stunned, Kevin was smiling walking toward me with his out for a hand shake. I shook it, geez he had a hard grip. I finally looked at Joe who was completly in shock at me, his mouth was hanging open. I turned around to make sure it was me he was looking at, not Alyssa. She seemed to be missing. She was probably healing her foot with a bandage, or something like that. "Girls your on in 10 minutes,"informed a stage crew member. "Oh geez, ok let's go; Ellie your sitting with these guys,"said Vikki winking at me. I gave her a confused look at her then she smiled at me like I knew what she was talking about. Seriously, I didn't know what the heck she was saying. "So your Ellie?"asked Kevin. I nodded while smiling. He was wearing a black tux, well so was all of them but Kevin seemed the most comfortable in his. "Ok, Ellie let's go, the red carpet is waiting,"he declared. I giggled, just like i thought, a good sense of humor. I dragged behind them while i watched Nick whisper to Kevin, occasionaly looking back at me. As we came to a door Joe stopped to catch up with me. He held out his arm to me. I felt my knee's quake underneath me. I closed my eyes and saw an outline of Joe. Just as I thought, I would be fainting on the red carpet. "Do you need assistance,"he asked "You look pale,"he stated as I grabbed his arm to help my balance. "Y-y-y-ya, uh Joe can you do me a favor,"I asked. As Nick opened the door and millions of screams filled my ears. "Anything Elle's,"he replied. I swallowed again trying to avoid an extreme dry throat. "Can you pinch me,"I asked. He pinched me. I yelped and he chuckled and looked at me with his brown eyes, I looked back at him. For one slim second I couldn't hear the screaming and I couldn't see all the camera's flashing, all I could see was Joe's perfect face while he looked at my so ugly unperfect face. I had to look away. For one reason I couldn't believe that Joe Jonas might have fell in love with me. For another reason, I knew that I would never be together with Joe, he was way too busy for a girlfriend. "Still a regular girl I see,"he commented. "You got it,"I agreed. "I've always dreamt of this moment,"I told him. He chuckled again. "Joe, have you found a new girl?"asked a interviewer. "Nope, this is a Ellie, a friend of mine,"he explained looking at me as I waved at a bunch of waving fans who were giving me the thumbs up. I could feel his warm stare. "Suuuuree,"commented the interviewer. Joe shook his head in frustration and rolled his eyes. We walked away. "I appreciate that,"I thanked. I smiled at him with my unperfect smile. My front teeth were never fixed out of their horrible gap. "I would never say that on a first date,"joked Joe. Waving at crying fans. I felt my knees buckle. He looked at my knees and laughed as he signed an autograph. "P.S. Elle's I love the gap in your teeth,"he said as I met his gaze again. I looked away and smiled. He looked away too as we walked into the theater. Joe never took his arm away until we sat down next to each other. I looked away at the empty seat next to me. I screamed multiple times in my head, when I just realized what had happened. Chapter 5 (Joe's view) Theater 6:58 April 15th I stood up leaving my seat next to Ellie who looked like she was gonna puke. I stood in front of Nick who was peering over at Ellie. "Don't tell me you like Ellie,"I said chuckling at my younger brother. He didn't pay attention and kept looking around him in a nervous way. "Dude snap out of it,"I quickly remarked snapping my fingers in front of his face which brought him to reality. "Uh sorry dude, um no i don't like Ellie,"he said looking at me. Still looking at the stage which was in back of me. "Really?"I asked. Kevin seemed to start into our conversation. "NO, dude I'm watching out for Miley,"told Nick. He seemed to lightly shudder at her name. I burst out laughing in my head (luckily). "That would explain it,"said Kevin totally understanding the situation now. I nodded. "What did she do this time,"I asked rolling my eyes. (Unfortunatly) knowing Miley was most likely giving the girl put downs so she would mess up or do something horrible. "Dude, she stabbed Alyssa's foot with a stilleto,"informed Nick. I looked away before busting out with laughter. I turned back around and shoved my fist in my mouth to not fall on the floor with hysterics. "It's not funny,"Nick whispered yelled. "She's a good friend of mine,"Nick protested. "Ya a great friend that you met for the first time like 10 minutes ago,"I said raising my eyebrows. "Hey, you like Ellie and you met her earlier than I met Alyssa,"he said to me pointing to Ellie with his eyes. "Who said I liked her,"I said placing my hands on my hips like The Cheetah Girls in their cheesy new movie. "OH PLEASE!"Nick chuckled. "P.S. Elle's I love the gap in your teeth,"mimicked Nick in a high voice putting his hands under his chin and batting his eyebrows. Ellie whipped her head toward Nick, stared at us with her snow, pale face and returned back looking sick to her stomach. "How did you hear that?"I whispered to Nick sitting next to him with my back facing Ellie. "Joe, I was probably 6 INCHES away from you, oh, and newsflash, her gap is NOT cute, it's butt ugly, and did you see those eyebrows, woooo wee she needs to shave those ba...,"commented Nick I slapped a hand over his mouth before he said anything else. I looked over at Ellie, she was still looking over the other way like she had been before. "What the heck Nick, I've never seen you like this before,"scolded Kevin. "I've never seen such an ugly..". "ENOUGH!"Kevin whisper screamed. "Nick, you will respect who Joe likes, and no offense Joe it's more than a tad obvious and Joe you will respect that Nick thinks of Alyssa as a friend,"told Kevin. I nodded and looked toward Ellie. Conversation was done, over, thank goodness. I decided to talk to her but the lights went dim. Ellie looked over to the stage, looking a bit better. She held a water bottle in her hand, as well as a red clutch bag. "Lady's and Gentlemen, presenting Milia and Sasha Obama,"introduced the voice coming from all the speakers. The two Obama girls came on stage. "Thank you for all coming to this concert,"started Milia. "And thank you all at home for watching, please enjoy this song by one of our favorite bands DE JAVU!"finished Sasha. They walked backstage. The band came on and Ellie's face lit up as her best friend and sister came on. "Hey everyone, this song is for our new country, enjoy,"commented the girl who flirted with Kevin, her name was Vikki. They sang "This is our year" originally sang by Drew Seeley and the other girl who played uhh what was her name, oh yeah Kim Possible. Except they changed it so Vikki sang the parts and the rest of them sang the harmony. I couldn't really pay attention to the rest of the words except for: Come on Come on and shout it out This is our year I could only understand this because the Sasha and Milia who were now back in their seats and were always shouting along "This is our year". I was too embraced in Ellie's look. She was absoloutly happy and excited. True that she did have bushy eyebrows and non fixed teeth, but that made her different from all Hollywood girls. She stood out. That was all that mattered. Chapter 6 (Ellie's view) Theater 6:27 April 15th "Hey,"whispered someone behind me. I whipped my head around to find Alyssa sitting next to me. Alyssa wore her honey blond hair was in a beautiful messy bun with a long white v-neck dress with a slim and skinny belt, it looked like a dress a sort of goddess would wear. Alyssa looked stunning and amazing. I couldn't help but gap when I saw her, and I'm her sister. "You look amazing,"we said at the same time. We giggled and looked at the stage as the lights turned back on and the Jonas Brothers came on the stage. "Yes, I wanted to see Nick, I mean those guys preform,"Alyssa said catching her minor flaw. I knew she liked Nick. It was obvious. Even though Joe was on the stage I could tell he was staring at me. "This one goes out to the president and mrs. president, and also our new friends DEJA VU,"called out Nick. "And Ellie,"finished Joe. He looked at me and gave me a small wink. I smiled a thank you to him. Mollie had reached over Alyssa to punch my arm. "Ow,"I quietly yelped as I smiled with delight. I recgonized the song at once. It was a one of their songs from their album A Little Bit Longer. It was called Got Me Going Crazy. I gazed at Joe. While bunches of girls ran alongside the right and left of the stage. (The Middle was blocked off by body guards). I saw that Joe was gazing back at me. I giggled once and a while watching him stare at me. Occasionally I would have to look away, Joe Jonas falling in love with you, in one night. It was definatly enough for me in one night. But I still loved the attention. I felt kinda of spoiled having him sing to you. I noticed that Joe walked up to the very front of the stage, a few feet from where I was sitting looking directly at my eyes as he sang. All I wanna know is do you wanna get away, get away with me, girl I don't know what to do cuz I'm so in love with you. I widened my eyes. I felt my stomach turn. I felt like I was carsick. "You ok,"asked Alyssa. "I feel sick to my stomach,"I replied. "Do you need to go backstage,"asked Alyssa. I pondered for a second and saw Joe realizing that I got sick easily so he turned around to the fans. "No I think I'll manage,"I answered. "Ok." Alyssa went back to watching. ********************* "Introducing M-I-I-Ley Cyrus,"exclaimed the introducer. Miley Cyrus walked out and waved to the crowd. Everyone who knew what Miley did to Alyssa looked at Alyssa then looked back at Miley. "Hey Yall thanks for having me, this one is for you,"commented Miley. She started to sing her famous song "Fly On The Wall". You don't understand what it is that makes me tick but you wish you did, your always second guess wonder if i say yes but you just lose out everytime, if you only know what i talk about when im with my friends just hanging out. "She doesn't have any friends,"whispered Mollie to Alyssa and I. I giggled into the palm of my hand. Don't you wish that you could be a fly on the wall, a creepy little sneaky little fly on the wall, all my precious secrets ya, you know them all, don't you wish that you could be a fly on the wall. At the end of the song Miley came to the edge of the stage and stared at all of us sitting in the middle of the first row. (Kevin, Nick, Joe, Me, Alyssa, Mollie, Eva, and Vikki). She stared at me with a long glare then when the song ended she shot me the dirtiest look possible from a human being. She flipped her hair and walked off stage. "What was that"asked Joe looking at me nervously. "I don't know,"I commented. I truly didn't know. I was worried. The big party was tomorrow and Miley was going to be there. Was she going to do something to me, like she did to Alyssa? Chapter 7 Back parking 9:45 April 15th "Well nice meeting you all,"parted Mollie dragging Vikki away from the brothers. "Come awn, Lyss,"urged Vikki who was getting pulled into the limo. "Wait one second, will ya,"replied Alyssa. I looked at Joe who was standing next to me, then I decided to speak. "Well I'll see you tommorrow, at the party then, bye"I said looking at Joe. I waved at him while Alyssa and I walked to the limo. "It's a date then,"Joe called. "Ya, um, Byee!"I replied over my shoulder. Alyssa didn't look at me at first then when we got into the limo she was the one who was squealed. I just beamed and day dreamed of tommorrow. "Oh-my-lord!"exclaimed Vikki. Those were the last words I heard before I fell asleep. ******************** "Ellie, Ellie, come on wake up,"quietly whispered Alyssa. "Huh?"I whimpered. I bet it was just a dream. "Come on we're going shopping for the Obama's huge party tonight,"informed Alyssa. "Okay fine, I'm coming,"I stumbled. I tried to clamber out of bed but I was so tired I ended up falling off the bed instead. "Aw geez, well that just woke me up,"I said rubbing my head. I took out my braids in my hair, which revealed my dirty brown hair to be wavy; taking a shower before bed is worth it (even if the shower was at 3 A.M.) I changed into a magenta and white polka dot shirt and put a blue and yellow striped tank top underneath it. (Surprisingly it looked really cute together). I slipped into a pair of denim bell bottoms with a magenta belt, I slipped into my favorite pair of magenta polka dot Converse and headed out the door with Alyssa. "Are you forgetting something,"asked Alyssa handing me my matching purse that went with all my magenta on. "Oh thanks,"I said taking the purse and looking inside. I sighed. Phew, all my money and my credit cards was there. "We have to get you an amazing outfit Elle, your going on a date with Joe Jonas tonight,"exclaimed Alyssa thanking the doorman who opened the door of the lobby. I gulped. So it wasn't a dream. "Ya, um where are all the other guys,"I asked looking around the street. "Oh, their already at Starbucks,"told Alyssa. Alyssa and I walked to Starbucks. We found Vikki, Mollie, Eva, and Sydney waiting in front of Starbucks with Coffee and Hot Chocolate and signing autographs. "Ellie, do you want Hot Chocolate?"asked Alyssa. "Ya." "Okay be right back,"said Alyssa. "Hey guys,"I greeted the girls. "Hey Ellie,"answered Sydney. The other girls were too busy signing autographs. Sydney was wearing a plaid red and black lumber jack shirt with red tights with a denim mini skirt over it with black Converse. "How long do you think it will take them,"I asked Sydney. "Too long,"Sydney answered. I nodded and walked over to Mollie. "Mollie, are you done yet,"I asked waving to fans who apparently recognized me. "Yeah, wait one second,"answered Mollie giving the autograph to the girl and then grabbing a next notebook from another girl. Alyssa came out of Starbucks a bunch of girls ran over to her. I skidded to her side and grabbed my drink. "Let's goooo!!"I hollered. "Ok!"replied everyone. Everyone walked away from the fans who waved bye to the band then walked away, admiring their autographs. "Let's go here,"pointed Eva. Marc Jacobs stood to the right of the group. They all walked into the store. "Welcome girls,"greeted the store clerk. "Heeyyyy,"answered Sydney. I elbowed her. "I've never been here before,"answered Mollie adjusting her glasses and picking up a pair of shoes. The group looked around the store until Sydney grabbed a dress off a rack and ran over to Eva. "OMG, OMG, OMG, Eva this would look amazing on you!!!"squealed Sydney. Eva grabbed the dress and walked over to a mirror. "I'll try it on,"replied Eva walking into the dressing room. A few minutes later Eva walked out of the changing room with the dress on. Sydney was right the dress did look amazing on Eva. The dress was a black and white strapless mini dress that went down to Eva's knee-cap. "I'm wearing this to the party,"stated Eva. Eva ran back to the dressing room and changed into her regular black and white striped boat neck long sleeved shirt with denim skinny jeans and red ballet flats. Once Eva bought the dress we all went to a new store. ******************** "Almost done Ellie, the limo is picking us up in half an hour,"informed Mollie. "Coming,"I replied. I looked at myself in the full length mirror next to the jacuzzi-tub. I wore a a pink Carmen Marc Valvo strapless mini dress with black heels and diamond earrings and a silver bracelet. My dirty brown hair was let down and was extremely wavy. Finally, I had plucked my eyebrows. Hopefully Nick wouldn't make fun of me tonight. I took a deep breath and promised myself that I wouldn't faint tonight. I took another deep breath and opened the door. "Wow, Ellie you look amazing,"told Mollie. "Ya,"agreed everyone else. Alyssa, Vikki, and Eva sat on their beds talking. Alyssa had put her blond hair into a bun. She wore a Ina Soltani purple one shoulder purple dress. The dress was a deep purple and the one sleeved was covered in glittery, purple flowers made of fabric. There was a matching purple sash around the waist, which made the dress look even more amazing on Alyssa. Eva wore the dress she picked out earlier today, it looked great how Eva added silver hoop earrings and bright red lipstick to her look. Vikki wore an purple Ina Soltani tank top dress. The two straps were covered in rhinestones and the dress was long and flowey. There was a belt around the waist of the gown, the belt was covered in rhinestones. "You guys look great too,"I replied smiling at them. Mollie walked out of the bathroom with a green halter dress. Mollie had dark green heels and a green head band. "I really hope this is a formal party, cause you know how a feel about dresses,"commented Mollie adjusting her headband and fixing her long red hair. "It's a party for the president and his family, and the presidantial family is going to be there, I think it's gonna be formal,"joked Alyssa giggling "Anyway Mollie you look great, for someone who hates dresses,"she added. I nodded grabbing my silver old ipod nano. I needed to listen to my ipod for a long drive. "Joseph is here,"hollered Eva. I looked out the window. The big black limo was waiting outside the apartment lobby. A bunch of people were crowded around the limo. "Ok let's go,"said Alyssa. She opened the door. We all walked out of the apartment down the stairs in our gowns; (since we really didnt need to use the elevator, we were only one flight of stairs from the lobby). We walked out of the lobby and was greeted by fans. We quickly ran into the limo, slammed the door and drove off before any swarming happened. "How long is the drive again?"asked Eva to Mollie. "Um, I think half an hour or fourty minutes, right Joseph,"replied Mollie. "Half an hour,"informed Joseph. Eva nodded then put her ipod earphones into her ears and turned on the Gorillaz, or that's what I saw. I took my ipod and put the earphones in my ears too. I turned on "No You Girls" by Franz Ferdinand and I imagined how I was going to survive the next few hours. Chapter 8 Limo 7:00 April 16th The limo pulled out at the curb. I turned my ipod off and took the headphones out of my ears and handed it to Joseph. I unbuckled my seatbelt and waited. I always had to let the band out first since they were more important to see. After Mollie stepped out then I waited 20 seconds then stepped out. Weirdly enough people screamed when they saw me, you know the good kind of screaming. I smiled, waved and stepped inside the buliding. A women with a classic black dress with red hair tyed in a bun collected the coats. "Ah, nice to meet you Alyssa, Vikki, Eva, Mollie, and Ellie"greeted the lady. I looked at her with half confused, half in awe look. Nobody ever knew my name, they only asked who I was. "Your name is Ellie, right?"she asked taking my brown cardigan. "Ya." "OK...well, let's get inside,"said Eva breaking the silence and taking my arm and bringing me into the room where everyone was dancing to "Hey Ya" by OutKast. The whole group laughed when we saw President Obama dancing to the song. "OMG OMG OMG, hey guys,"greeted Sydney. Sydney had her light brown in a bun and wore a light blue sparkly flapper with dark blue heels and a blue sparkly headband. "Are we in the 30's or is it just me,"commented Eva. Sydney lightly punched Eva on the arm. "Come on Lyss, lets go find them,"urged Vikki. "Oh their over there if I'm thinking who your thinking about,"said Sydney winking at Vikki. "Ya, where are they?"asked Vikki chuckling. "Back there,"pointed Sydney. She turned around and pointed to the far end of the room. "Let's go then, come on,"dragged Vikki. "Bye guys,"said Alyssa. "Come ONNNN ALYSSA!" "I'm COMING JEEPERS!" I waved to Alyssa then started to talk to Sydney. "Soooo I saw you going into the theater with someone who wasn't me,"said Sydney. I chuckled and looked down at my black heels. "Ya." "HOW!"exclaimed Sydney happily. "Geez, well he asked me if he could escort me so I couldn't say no, I hope your not mad Syd,"I explained. "Why in the world would I be mad,"answered Sydney embracing me in a hug, apologizing for the mis-understanding. "Thats amazing, you haaavveee to dance with him tonight, Beyonce is here and I bet a million trillion dollars she's gonna play At Last, since it was the song the President and first lady danced to, you know,"said Sydney. I nodded. We walked around saying hi to everyone and chatting. *********************** (Alyssa's point of view) An Hour Later I looked around. The room was full of people, and none of them I was looking for. Vikki, Eva, Mollie, Ellie, or Sydney was no where in sight. I turned around, sighed and walked toward the back of the room looking at my feet. Suddenly I bumped into someone. "Ouch,"I yelped . I looked up, Nick was standing there scratching the back of his neck. "HOLY MOLY,"I screamed in my head. "Oh sorry Nick,"I apologized. Wasn't expecting that. "Oh, thats ok,"said Nick. Suddenly my favorite song was on New Classic by Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. "Oh my gosh I love this song,"I exclaimed sounding a little to over excited. (I could tell that from Nick's expression that he wasn't expecting the comment). "Oh really," he looked around. Almost everyone except for the other members of Deja Vu and the crew were on the floor dancing. "Do you wanna dance?"asked Nick. "Sure,"I said casually. We walked on and started dancing. Nick moved ackwardly just moving his feet. I laughed. "Were you ever taught to dance?" I joked. "I was on broadway what do you think,"he answered sarcastically. I laughed at the joke. I recalled a very important fact. "Uh Nick, where's Selena?" "We broke up a long time ago,"informed Nick looking at his shoes. "Oh really, I'm sorry to hear about it,"I answered feeling stupid asking the question in the first place. "It's ok, really it's fine,"he responded looking at my expression. We kept on dancing but looked at our feet. I could just hear in my head Joe saying "Ackward". "Well I'll forget about it,"finally said Nick breaking the horribly ackward silence. We both spotted Sydney and Kevin dancing with each other laughing hysterically. We both come over to them. "Hey guys,"I greeted. "Heeeeeyyyy,"replied Sydney. We all talked and danced at the same time until Nick tripped over Kevin. We all busted into hysterics. Even Nick himself laughed. "I need someone to keep me steady,"stated Nick. He grabbed my hands. My eyes widened and I looked at Kevin. He just smiled at me and he and Sydney walked away. Nick and I danced through the whole song and at the end Nick twirled me around for a bow. We both laughed and headed off the dance floor and started to talk with Sydney and Kevin. Chapter 9 (Ellie's point of view) Obama party 9:22 April 16th I sat in the back of the room with Mollie. "Where is he,"I asked searching the room. "Don't ask me I can barely see where you are, I don't have my glasses on,"stated Mollie pretending to look around with me. I looked at her with a confused expression. "Wait don't you have your contacts,"I asked her. "NO, the stupid company hasn't delivered them yet,"she answered clenching her fist. "Oh ok." I looked around the room to see if he was anywhere in sight. I saw both Kevin and Nick but no Joe. Ugh! "I'm gonna look around more,"I informed to Mollie. Mollie nodded she was texting someone. "Wow great manners,"I commented sarcastically. She didn't notice. I rolled my eyes and went to where Alyssa and Sydney were talking. "Hey Elle whats up,"said Alyssa. "Um have you seen Joe?"I questioned. "No." "You Sydney?" "Nah, Sorry Elle." "Ok thats fine,"I responded. "Hey but um Beyonce is singing soon so you should keep looking for him,"said Alyssa. "Ya, I'll keep looking,"I lyed. I had my eyes on something else. I a few feet away from Alyssa and Sydney was a pair of French doors. No one was really looking at me or wondering what I was doing so I opened the doors. The doors lead to large balcony. Below the balcony were bunches of palm trees. I looked up, tonight was crystal clear; millions of stars looked down on me. I admired the stars above me for a long time. I suddenly heard the familiar introduction of the song At Last. I tryed to ignore that I couldn't find Joe and that everyone else was probably dancing. I looked through the windows of the doors. Alyssa and Nick were slow dancing, happily smiling at each other. Sydney and Kevin were slow dancing, Sydney was talking to Kevin and Kevin was kindly looking down at here (since she was much smaller than him). Eva was dancing with Sasha Obama. Sasha was so small Eva had to bend down to reach her. I chuckled as Sasha was cracking up hysterically.Of course the President and the First lady were dancing togehter. I looked for Mollie and I found her. Mollie was dancing with Daniel Radcliff. They were both smiling at each other. I looked away with a confused look on my face but then brushed it off. Two minutes later someone opened the French doors. I quickly spun around hoping I wasn't in trouble. I sighed when I saw who it was. Joe was standing in front of the doors closing them behind him. "I haven't seen you all night where have you been,"asked Joe smiling at me. "Looking for you,"I replied. I couldn't help but smiling back. We stared at each other for a second. "Would you care to dance Ellie,"he asked bowing down like in the Pride and Prejudce movies. I rolled my eyes and laughed. We started to slow dance. I stared at him and he stared at me for a really long time. Then Joe started to come closer to me, I closed my eyes and came closer also. We were literally 3 inches from each other when suddenly, "ELLIE MILEY'S WEARING YOUR DRESS!"busted Sydney she took my arm and dragged me away from Joe. I looked behind me and gave him a i'm-really-sorry look. He smiled and waved. I smiled back. Sydney stopped me in the middle of the dance floor. "Sydney you just ruined one of the best." I stopped abruptly when I saw Miley wearing the same dress I wore last night. "Why is she wearing your dress?"asked Sydney not even realizing that Joe Jonas almost kissed me. "I have no clue, I'll ask her,"I said. I had a feeling this had something to do with the poisinus stare I got from Miley last night. "Well nice knowing you,"called Sydney over Eight Days A Week. I didn't bother to turn around. "Hey Miley,"I greeted sweetly, I wanted to get off on the right foot. "Oh Ellie, I was looking for you,"she answered even more sweetly. "What is it you want to tell me,"I asked. Miley led me to the back of the fancy room where snacks were. The table that held the snacks said "Courtesy of Milia and Sasha Obama" which told me that Sasha and Milia planned the food. My back faced a huge fountain of punch with a huge block of ice carved to be the American Flag. "Why the heck were you wearing my dress,"hissed Miley through clenched teeth. "Your dress that was my dress,"I answered. Miley shot me a confused look which said "Explain" "Well my friend Eva got the dress from your dressing room because my other dress was ruined because Eva accidentally used it to wipe up the blood on Alyssa's foot that YOU cause,"I said calmly. "I didn't do that on purpose it was a mere accident,"she said crossing her arms over chest. I was really mad now. All I could muster to say was, "No one says mere anymore." "Well oh, in that case here's a mere stain for another ruined dress,"said Miley in an evil and innocent way. Miley pushed me into the fountain of punch. My dress was completley ruined not to mention I was soaked. I gave her a look of pure shock as I got up drenched and soaked. Miley just waved and walked back innocently. I watched her walk away. I ran to the bathroom to dry myself off before anyone noticed what happened. Chapter 10 Girls Bathroom 9:47 April 16th "What HAPPENED!"exclaimed Alyssa raising her hands in the air with frustration. Alyssa, Mollie, Vikki, Eva, Sydney and I were in the Girls bathroom. Alyssa was wringing out my hair and Mollie was wringing out my hair and Sydney was wringing out the bottom dress. "She has her dress which Eva accidentally took because she didn't know what dress to take, and then Miley thought I stole it from her because I was mad at her for stabbing your foot, so she pushed me in the punch,"I answered. "I cannot believe this,"screeched Alyssa raising her hands over her head again. "She is got to be stopped!"said Sydney "But on the good side me and Kevin make the ca-utest couple,"she replied. Alyssa shot her a please-stay-on-topic look. "And how old are you,"asked Vikki crossing her hands across her chest with a pout on her face. "17." "And how old is he." "22" "Exactly there is a 5 year diffrence,"stated Vikki. "Vikki, whats the matter with you,"Sydney asked *CENSORED*ing her eyebrows and walking next to Vikki. "Nothing, I'm just over Kevin,"pouted Vikki. "Their music stinks, and so do they," she stated. "Ok then,"said Sydney facing her back toward Vikki smirking. "I don't know whats going on but it better stop,"hissed Alyssa i had never seen her so frustrated."I don't want anyone fighting, there is one more fight too many." "I agree," I said. "Now Vikki can you please respect that Sydney likes Kevin and Sydney please be nice to Vikki,"said Alyssa calming down. Vikki and Sydney nodded. "Let's go,"I said "I think I'm dry." "Ok, the party is almost over anyway,"replied Alyssa we all walked out of the girl bathroom. ************************* (Vikki's point of view) Kevin was at the snack table grabbing a crepe and stuffing it in his mouth. I walked up to him. "Hey, whats up,"I asked friendly he turned around half-way devouring his crepe. "Oh I twat's tup,"stuffed Kevin. I laughed. He smiled as he swallowed. "Lemme re-phrase thats,"he continued. I laughed then looked up. "Nothing just saying hi,"I said. Kevin sighed and I shot him a confused expression. "I thought you were mad at me for dancing with Sydney,"he informed. I wish I could roll my eyes but I couldn't. "Oh no I didn't even hear about that,"I lyed i recalled the very recent semi-argument in the girls bathroom. "Oh." "Wait, I did hear about it," I pretend recalled. If Vikki and Kevin were gonna make the ultimate couple she couldn't start with lying to him. "Who told you?" "Sydney herself,"I replied. "Really?" "Ya, really." "What did she say?" "I quote 'Kevin and I make the ca-utest couple' unquote,"mimicked Vikki emphasizing the word ca-utest. "Did she...hmm..well then,"reacted Kevin adjusting his tie in a proud way. I punched him playfully. "I'm just joking, I don't like Sydney,"he announced to me. I gave him a yeah-right look. "Seriously I don't!"he said again. This time I believed him. "Ok fine, I believe you,"I said smiling at him. He gave me the thumbs up while he stuffed another crepe into his mouth. "Dese dings are weally gwood,"Kevin tryed to say. I nodded and grabbed one. We talked for the rest of the night. *********************** (Ellie's Point of View) "Well nice seeing you guys again,"said Alyssa. "Ya it feels like Deja Vu,"joked Vikki winking at Alyssa. Alyssa rolled her eyes. I bit my tounge so I wouldn't giggle at the bad pun. The brothers all looked at each other like they were dying to tell something to us (Vikki, Alyssa, and I). Kevin finally nudged Joe. "Ouch, um well we were wondering if you guys, meaning the whole band would come to our house tommorrow for a pool party,"he asked. We didn't have to look at each other to answer. "YES!"we all answered at once. We laughed then let the brothers talk again. "Great we'll see you there at 3:00 then,"said Kevin as they headed for their large black car. "Yep BYE!"called Vikki waving. I slapped her hand down. "OW!" she yelped. I laughed. "Let's go,"sighed Alyssa turning us then linking arms with Vikki and I and walking toward the limo. Chapter 11 Deja Vu's apartment 10:12 April 17 I woke up to everyone looking through the closets violently. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and got up from bed. "Ugh what are you guys doing?"I asked sleepily. "Getting ready for the pool party in 5 hours,"replied Vikki throwing a orange halter top bathing suit on my head not even looking back at me. I shook the bathing suit off my head and picked it up off the ground. "What about this,"I suggested. "No way,"commented Vikki still not looking back at me. I *CENSORED*ed an eyebrow and then walked down the hall to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took out a Nantucket Nectar Orange Mango juice. I sat down at the counter and took a sip. Alyssa walked into the room. "Good Morning Ellie,"she welcomed. She grabbed two pieces of Soft Oatmeal bread from the bread box and placed them in our extremely old toaster. "Hey!"I replied. "Are you excited for tonight?"asked Alyssa picking out a container of Smart Butter from the fridge. "I guess, I don't see whats so big about it though,"I answered. Alyssa nodded as she took two pink plates from a cabinet. "Same, but I guess it's okay to get excited,"she told. The toast popped out of the toaster. "I guess,"I replied. "Ya, hey Elle can you get the cinnamon sugar out of the far left cabinet,"favored Alyssa. "Sure." "Thanks." I handed Alyssa the cinnamon and she sprinkled it on the buttered toast. "So how were you and Joe last night, or did you find him at all,"asked Alyssa curiously sitting on the stool next to me. "Good, I did find him right during At Last,"I told. "Really 'cause I didn't see you during that song,"said Alyssa taking a bite out of her toast. "There was a balcony there and there was an amazing view of the stars so I went out there and he found me out there and we danced,"I explained. "Awsome!"said Alyssa. "Hey guys we're modeling our outfits,"hollered Vikki from the bedroom. "Ok coming,"said Alyssa finishing her toast. I finished mine too. I placed the two plates in the sink and followed Alyssa into the other room. "Come on you guys get your outfits we're having a fashion show,"said Vikki dramatically. Alyssa laughed. I rolled my eyes and walked over to my closet and chose the only decent bathing suit I had for going to a pool party. A blue and pink and purple polka dot bikini with matching flip flops. I saw Alyssa pull out a blue halter one piece with white stars all over it. Eva wore a orange haiwain pattered bikini with a yellow neclace and a orange kinda wrap skirt with white music notes. Vikki chose busted out from the bathroom wearing a bright red bikini, her hair was in a surprisingly neat side ponytail. She wore red framed aviators. That reminded me, I rushed back to my closet to grap white Fred Flare raybans the same ones that Joe has. Mollie was sitting on her bed with a forest green bikini thinking deeply. I walked over to where she was. "Hey Mollie whats up?" "Nothing much I want to tell everybody something but no one is so busy." Started Mollie. "YO EVERYONE MOLLIE WANTS TO TELL US SOMETHING!" I hollered. Suddenly Eva's ringtone which was "No Sleep til Brooklyn" by the Beastie Boys. The phone was next to me so I grabbed it and pressed ignore. Eva didn't look at me. "Um guys this is something I should of told you all a long time ago." "YOUR PREGNANT!"blurted Eva jokingly. Mollie gave Eva a please-let-me-speak expression. "Sorry force of habit,"apologized Eva. "My secret is that I've been dating Daniel Radcliffe for two years now,"stated Mollie. Everyone in the room except for me gave Mollie a confused look. Seriously, did anyone see Mollie during At Last. "Really, OMG!"said Vikki giving Mollie a look of utter shock. I rolled my eyes. "Ya,"replied Mollie looking down at her bare feet. "Thats great!"exclaimed Alyssa. Mollie looked up at Alyssa with a expression that told she wasn't expecting Alyssa's reaction. "OK, who's hungry?"broke Eva. I looked at the clock it was only 10:30. "I think it's a little early to be eating lunch,"I returned. Eva scoweled to herself. "Are you guys mad at me?"asked Mollie returning to the subject of her and Daniel Radcliffe. "No,"the rest of us returned in unison. "Why would be mad?"questioned Vikki *CENSORED*ing her head to the right. "I don't know, 'cause I didn't tell you guys,"Mollie answered. "We're not mad,"I answered embracing Mollie she hugged me back. "Come on let's get ready for an amazing pool party,"piped Mollie we all nodded and stood up and kept going with our modeling. ********************** I bit into my avacado sandwich. "Almost ready you guys it's almost 2:45,"popped Vikki poking her head into the kitchen. Mollie and I were sitting in the kitchen watching old American Idol re-runs. "Are you excited,"asked Mollie. "Kinda,"I answered grabbing a near by Seventeen. The band was on the cover wearing spring fashions. "Kinda?" "I don't know what's gonna happen so i don't know if i should be excited or not,"I stated to Mollie. She looked away from the T.V. and looked at me. "What bad is gonna happen?"asked Mollie giving me a are-you-seriously-kidding-me look. I looked away at the cover. "Your right,"I admitted. "Let's gooooo,"sing-songed Vikki sticking her head into the kitchen again. This time Mollie and I walked out of the apartment with our approved outfits. ********************** We pulled up in the Jonas's driveway in Mollie's blue Toyota Camry. I opened the door and unbuckled my seatbelt. "Ellie don't open the door until the car's engine has stopped,"scolded Mollie. I looked at Mollie, the car had come to a complete stop. "Yes mother,"I replied sarcastically stepping out of the car. I rolled my eyes and went through a pair of wooden doors. I could hear the introduction of Beat It by Michael Jackson playing behind the doors. I walked through the door and saw no one. I strode over to a close by beach chair and took my flip flops off and sat on the chair. Right as I sat down Joe was on the other side of the pool dancing around. I put my hands in front of my face in an embarrassed and silly way. The fires in their eyes and their words are very clear so beat it, just beat it I walked up into the pool where he just jumped in. After awhile i walked back but something caught my ankle. I yelped. I whipped my head around to see that Joe had grabbed my ankle. I rolled my eyes. "Geez Joe, do you wanna scare me to death,"I replied slipping my ankle from his grasp and taking off my Love Pink shirt which was over my bathing suit. You have to show them that your really not scared their playing with your life this ain't no truth or dare Joe laughed and stepped out of the water. He paused the music and walked over to me. "Hey, whats up!"interrupted Alyssa calling to Joe with Nick and Vikki by her side. "Hola Nick,"I said waving to Nick. He waved back smiling. Nick stopped by his eyepod and shuffled the songs. I sat down in my beach chair and watched while everyone chatted. I got kind of bored as I sat there watching the rest of the two bands talk. I skipped over to the end of the pool where a short diving board sat. I jumped off the diving board and yelled, "CANNON BALL!" I actually didn't know what jump I was doing. Joe turned around quickly beaming happily at me as I landed in the water. I rose from the water while Your Gonna Say Yeah by the Hushpuppies started playing. I looked behind me, Joe was on the diving board he screamed then jumped in. I huge splash hit me as Joe jumped into the water. I laughed as I tryed to tread water in the deep end. "Nice jump,"I replied spitting out water that came into my mouth. "You okay?"he asked. "She'll be fine Joe, she's just a little flirtatious,"replied Eva searching something on her Blackberry touch not looking up from the screen. I gave her the what!-What!-your-not-in-this-conversation look. I looked at Joe, smiled at him and then looked back at Eva with a you-will-rue-the-day look. Joe looked at me then started laughing with hysterics as he swam to the shallow end. I followed. "That's not embarrassing,"I whimpered stuffing my hands in my face with embarrassment and sitting on the first step to the pool. Joe sat next to me and kept on laughing. "It happens all the time to me, don't worry,"assured Joe still laughing. I kept my hands in my face. Joe tryed to put his arm around me in assurance then Alyssa walked by. "You know she's still being flirtatious Joe,"Alyssa joked. I shot my hands away from my face and screamed an aggravated scream. Everyone laughed. "Come on, Dinner will be ready soon,"he chuckled holding his hand to me for help to get up. We all looked at Nick with confused looks. "Oh, geez, um, ya I forgot to delete that song sorry,"whimpered Nick running out of the pool to his ipod speakers on the table nearby and changed the song. It was Lovebug. Joe came in with food and everyone rushed out except for me who walked out slowly listening to the song. I spot Joe whispering something to Nick and Kevin; they both nodded. Nick ran over to where his Ipod was and restarted the song. They all stood in front of the beach chairs. Called you for the first time yesterday finally found the missing part of me felt so close but you were far away left me without anything to say. I looked at Joe who was beaming and singing. Now I'm speechless over the edge and just breathless I never thought that I'd catch this lovebug again I felt uneasy, like a few nights ago. This could not be happening. Kissed her for the first time yesterday everything I wish that it would be suddenly I forgot how to speak, hopeless breathless baby can't you see I looked at Joe who screamed, NOW IM The guitar solo started and Joe and I looked at each other not noticing everyone else, all I could notice was that everyone was looking at us. I didn't look away from Joe's entracing eyes as Joe sang, Now I'm speachless over the edge and just breathless I never thought that I'd catch this lovebug again. Joe didn't continue. We stared at each other then leaned in closer. When we finally kissed eachother it was my favorite part of the song. The part when Joe sings Oh-o-o. Lovebug again We released and everyone clapped behind us along with the recording. I pressed my face into Joe's shoulder, my face a bright tomato red. "I dropped my pencil,"whispered Joe at the exact same time as the song did. I laughed and kissed him on the cheek. Chapter 12 Deja Vu's apartment 11:45 April 19th "MAILLLL!"hollered Vikki from the hall. "OOK!"mimicked Eva as Alyssa placed three chocolate chip pancakes on my plate. Vikki skipped into the room holding a clump of mail. I took a bite of a pancake. It had been two days after the pool party, and I hadn't heard from any of the Jonas Brothers since. "Is there any mail for me?"asked Alyssa placing a few more pancakes on her own plate. "No ,"replied Vikki sarcastically handing her half of the clump. "Eva you have a few things, umm oooh Mollie you have a letter, and it's from England,"commented Vikki. "You shut your trap,"said Mollie ripping the letter from Vikki's hand. "One piece of mail for moi, and ooohh one piece of mail for you Ellie,"continued Vikki. I urgently grabbed the envelope from Vikki's grasp and ripped it open. A piece of paper fell out of the envelope. I picked it up from the kitchen floor. It was a page from Teen Vouge. It had the Lovebug lyrics to it. I read the lyrics and looked through the envelope to see if there was actually a letter. I found a piece of paper folded in half. I read the paper. Dear Elle's, You are an amazing and beautiful person. I love everything about you from your perfect smile to your adorable feet. You are the most perfect person I have ever met (besides me, JOKING!) One question though, Will you be my girlfriend? Love Joe <3 I sat on my stool motionless. My mouth had dropped down to the floor, which caused my chocalate chip pancake that was in my mouth to drop on Vikki's hand. The room was spinning. The only thing I could hear was Alyssa ask, "Is everything okay Ellie?" and Vikki squeal in disgust. I finally closed my eyes took a breath and screamed the loudest I had ever screamed in my life. "I'll call Nick, we need to hang out anyway,"told Alyssa reaching for the phone. The phone rang before Alyssa could even get the phone in her grasp. I peered at the caller ID. "Look's like you didn't even need to call him,"I chuckled. The phone read Jonas. "Hello,"greeted Alyssa. "Hey Nick, YES! I know isn't that adorable, I know, so the girls and I were wondering if we could have a get together, where if it works with your extreme schedule." "What did he say, huh?"asked Vikki. "Wait,"mouthed Alyssa. "GREAT! Yeah your house, thanks we'll be there,"finished Alyssa. "Bye." Alyssa hung up the phone. "Are we going to their house?"I asked. Alyssa nodded. "Okay we have to get you ready okay,"blurted Vikki. "YA!"answered Alyssa. We ran into the other room and tried clothes on. *************** At the end I ended up wearing a white and grey checkered sundress with skinny jeans under the dress and white heels. Mollie had braided my hair and Alyssa gave me a blue necklace to wear. Vikki had chosen a yellow tube mini dress with a yellow sash. Vikki paired the dress with black skinny jeans and black wedges. Eva curled Vikki's hair which made Vikki look elegant. Eva herself looked nice she had a white tank top under a black shruken motorcycle jacket with black skinny jeans and brown heels. Alyssa grabbed bright blue framed aviator sunglasses from her night table. She wore a long pink smocked sundress with a bright blue speghetti straps. She wore a pair of white flip flops and had her hair curled a little bit so it looked amazing, (like always). We finally got Mollie to put on one of Alyssa's outfits. Mollie was sitting on her bed texting on her phone in a white tunic with black ankle leggings and black t-strap heels. Alyssa had crimped Mollie's red hair. "Okay I think we are done,"stated Eva who was in a happy mood. She had just finished curling Vikki's hair. "Okay Mollie we're ready,"I said to Mollie. "Huh?"she replied looking up from a text. "Let's go,"I returned. "Oh okay let's go,"she remarked. We all walked out of the apartment and walked to the parking garage to get into Mollie's car. ******************** We pulled up into the familiar driveway. This time i walked up to the front door instead of going through the doors to the pool. "Hello Girls,"welcomed Denise Jonas, she was waiting at the front door. I looked at Eva who mouthed "That's not weird". I bit my tounge so I wouldn't crack up. "Hi,"we all replied waving to Denise. "The boys have been waiting for you,"she returned smiling. "Thank you,"thanked Alyssa leading the group inside. We walked through a long hallway with pictures of the boys when they were little. I recognized one of Kevin that the boys had made fun of in a past Youtube video. I heard Nick playing guitar in the other room. I found him sitting on a couch playing guitar and talking to Kevin. A kitchen table was next to the room where Nick and Kevin were. I looked through the huge window that viewed the pool to find Joe kicking around pebbles with his feet, his hands in his pockets. Mollie saw that I had spotted viewed and gave me a look that said go-now! She pushed me playfully toward the door that lead to the poolside. I looked at Alyssa who gave me a go-ahead-quickly expression. I rushed out the door that lead to the pool. Joe looked up. I beamed and ran toward him, stumbling and catching myself over again. I skidded my heels to a stop right in front of him. We looked up at each other, beaming for what felt like forever. I finally got the courage to say something. "Yes,"I said still looking at him. Joe beamed even more. I waited there. He finally kissed me on the cheek. I smiled. "Come on let's get inside,"he said taking my hand. I sighed and leaned on his shoulder. "What's the matter?"he asked chuckling at me. "It's that just, I can't believe that this is happening, I mean,"I stuttered. Joe stopped me by kissing me on the lips. "Exactly,"I said beaming up at him. We walked inside. Everyone clapped when we got in. Kevin even grabbed a paper towel roll and started humming a fanfare. I gave him a please-do-not-even-go-that-far look, Kevin just laughed along with Nick. I looked up at Joe who mouthed to me, "Let's go." I nodded and followed him. "She's probably been talking to Daniel too much,"joked Vikki sitting down next to Kevin. Mollie shot Vikki a don't-even-go-there look. Vikki just kept laughing with Kevin. "Anyway, I know where they went, Joe has this spot where he takes all of his girlfriends, he took them all there, Taylor, Chelsea, A.J.,"explained Nick. "HE DATED CHELSEA!"yelled Vikki slamming her hands on the table top. Everyone backed away in shock. "Uh yeah, did you see the pictures of them shopping,"replied Nick meekly. "Ya,"whimpered Vikki. "I just hate that girl,"she continued sitting back in her chair. "So did we,"whispered Kevin. Nick nodded. I couldn't help but giggle. "I'm so happy that Ellie has a boyfriend now,"I piped changing the subject. "Ya,"replied Mollie, Eva and Vikki in unison. Joe and Nick on either side of me. A lady with amber hair and a green t-shirt and high-waisted jeans walked up to me. "Hi are you Ellie?"asked the lady. "Ya,"I answered. "Oh good, the magazine want's a photo of you too,"she informed me looking at her clipboard. "And apparently an interview too,"she continued. Joe elbowed me and smiled. I smiled back at him. "Oh great, I'll be right back you guys,"I said to Nick and Joe. Joe waved to me as I was being dragged to the rack of clothes. The lady handed me an orange long sleeved shirt, a multi colored scarf, light denim short shorts, and tall tan boots. "Oh, by the way I'm Angela,"told Angela. I waved. "So here's your stuff Ellie, why don't you go change in the closet bathroom." She pointed to a purple a few feet away from us. "Thank you,"I thanked. I sprinted to the bathroom changed into my clothes and walked out of the bathroom. The minute I walked out of the bathroom, makeup artists rushed toward me and pulled out eyeshadow, lip gloss and mascara. "Oh geez hi,"I said. "Please stay still Ellie,"directed the lady trying to put mascara on me. "Ok". When they finished with my makeup Angela came back. "You look wonderful, um can you wait til' Eva is done with her shot and then the camera man will talk to you,"she directed. "Ok,"I agreed rushing toward Joe and Nick. "Wow you look great,"complimented Joe taking my hand and twirling me around. "Thanks,"I laughed. I looked at Eva who was jumping on a trampoline, the camera was taking shots of her jumping. "Ellie can I curl your the ends of your hair extremely quickly,"asked the lady that put mascara on me. "Ya sure, go ahead,"I replied. "Hey Nick do you remember when we had to do that for the Cosmogirl issue,"recalled Joe. "Ya,"answered Nick blankly looking at Alyssa who was wearing a white frock dress with black ribbon belt and bright green leggings with black heels and a black headband. "Oh I remember that I still have that copy, I remember I think I was in Florida with the band and I was reading that at the pool in our hotel,"I responded. I laughed remembering something. "Okay ohn my couwnt, one two, three!" I jumped like the charachters in High School Musical. The camera man took about 10 or 11 shots of me and told me I was done with shots. I reviewed the pictures and requested the shot of me with my hands over my head while I was jumping, beaming at the faces Joe was making behind the camera man. I ran back to Joe but before I could even talk to him Angela told my interview was in less than 3 minutes. I nodded and rushed quickly to Joe. "Joe I have a question?" "Ya, anything Elle's." "What if they ask me if I'm dating you?" "Of course you are though,"he said. "I know that, but do we want to tell everyone,"I replied. He looked at me and then nodded smiling. "Let's go to my house,"he suggested putting his arm around my shoulder and leading me back to the car. "Ok,"I said. "Wait so when's your birthday?"Joe asked completely changing the subject. "Uh, June 19th,"I answered giving him a sarcastic look. He chuckled. Chapter 15 Deja Vu's apartment June 4th 9:45 "Wake up,"whispered Sydney. "AHHH!"I screamed, extremely startled at Sydney. "Holy gee why are you screaming?"hollered Sydney between laughs. "Wasn't really expecting you,"I replied laughing along with Sydney. "Well umm... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"shouted Sydney. "Wow, ok why are you here?"I asked getting up from my bed and running to my closet and picking a birthday outfit. I quickly picked a blue and white polka dot frock mini dress with blue skinny jeans and blue converse sneakers and a blue sparkly headband. "Uh, it's a surprise,"stumbled Sydney. I laughed. "Wow, I'm guessing Joe planned something HUGE that I could never ever afford for my birthday,"I guessed from the bathroom where I was changing. "Something even bigger,"answered Sydney who was leaning against the closed bathroom door. "And better,"she stated. "Really?"I questioned opening the door in my new outfit, which caused Sydney to fall. "Oops, sorry Syd,"I apologized reaching my hand out so I could help her up. "Thanks, come awn lets go Michelle is giving us a ride to somewhere mysterious,"joked Sydney dancing out the door. "You mean the Jonas's,"I corrected. "Ya,"suddenly stopped Sydney sinking her head. I giggled and followed Sydney out the door. *********************** I walked through the door and Sydney covered my eyes so I couldn't see what was going on at the pool. She finally released her hands when I stepped to the pool. I gasped with excitement when I saw Alyssa, Eva, Vikki, Mollie, Daniel Radcliff, Denise and Kevin Jonas, Franky and Tia standing on the patio on the other side of the pool. I beamed when I heard the familiar introduction of When You Look Me In The Eyes and saw Nick, Kevin and Joe standing in front of everyone with their guitars. Joe smiled and waved to me. Chapter 16 Deja Vu's apartment June 5th 10:56 I woke up and walked into the kitchen feeling happy, yesterday was the best birthday I had ever had in my life. Alyssa, Eva, Mollie, and Vikki were each sitting on chairs in the kitchen, extremely sad looks on their faces. I was worried, what if something happened to their band. "What happened?"I asked. No one spoke. I looked around, geez this was serious. "No serious, what's wrong?"I repeated. Again, no one spoke. I gave Alyssa the what-is-wrong face. She looked down at her feet and finally spoke. "Here Elle, take my chair." She got off the chair as I walked over and sat on her chair. I looked up with worried eyes to Alyssa. "Michelle called telling us that we are going to..."she paused. "Send you across the country to our godmother, Michelle thinks you need to be raised better and you need better education"she finished. My eyes widened. "W-w-hat,"I stuttered. She nodded. "Where am I going?"I asked. Tears built up in my eyes. I "Ipswich, Massachusetts,"informed Alyssa. "Seriously?"I whimpered. I too looked down at the ground, tears rolled off my cheeks. I wished Joe was there to wipe the tears off my face. Then I realized about Joe. I think Alyssa that I had realized that too. Now I started to bawl. "I have to break up with Joe,"I sobbed. We just next to each other crying. "Well it would have been hard with the long distance thing,"said Joe fighting back sobs. "Ya, I guess,"replied, me I wasn't so great at not crying. Joe wiped the tears falling onto my cheek off my face. We both started to cry knowing these were our last memories. "Passengers taking the flight to Logan Airport in Boston can board now,"announced the lady at a front desk in front of a big door that lead onto the plane. We just looked at each other crying our eyes out. Joe finally spoke. "I guess this is it." "Ya." I couldn't stand it I grabbed him into a hug. He kissed the top of my head. "I'll come and find you sometime, when our band comes unpopular, and we don't need to be in L.A. all the time,"promised Joe. I had to laugh at this. "Joe, seriously when are the Jonas Brothers gonna become unpopular, seriously,"I joked still wrapped in his arms. "So we'll never see each other again,"Joe sobbed. I looked at him which made me cry. Joe Jonas crying before your eyes. It was too much to leave behind, but I had to. I nodded. "Passengers boarding the flight to Boston please board now,"instructed the lady again. "I guess I have to go,"I said. We broke away. I grabbed my carry on bag and walked to the door with him by my side. I kissed his cheek and stared at him. I finally walked to the door, gave the man my ticket and walked through the door. As I walked through the hallway to the plane I saw Joe waving to me, bawling. I waved back. I finally turned a corner, and Joe was out of my sight, forever. I cried as I walked down the hall. I didn't care that little girls were pointing at me, and strangers were looking at me. I missed everyone already. I boarded the plane. Luckily I sat in a single seat next to a window. Later, when the plane took off I looked out the window at the bird's eye view of Los Angeles and Hollywood. I waved to everyone from the window, knowing they couldn't see me. *********************** I walked out of the airport drying the tears off my cheeks. Hopefully, no one had noticed I was crying the whole plane ride. I spotted a black limo that had a sign that said Ellie Waterfields on the inside of the windsheild. I walked glumly to the limo. I thanked him as he carried out all of my suitcases. I stood with all of my belongings in front of the door that lead to a small grey-blue house. I knocked on the door. I waited until a friendly looking lady with curly red hair opened the door. "Hi Ellie I'm your Aunt Cynthia,"greeted my godmother. She helped me bring my many bags into the house. As I walked in with two of my huge suitcases I noticed a little girl with short black hair and long bangs. She ran up to me when she saw me and hugged me. "Your gonna be the best sister ever,"I smiled and laughed. I had a feeling it would be fine here. ********************** I walked into my room. It was a pretty small room with purple polka dot curtains and a purple polka dot comforter and pillow cases. The only two colors in the room were white and purple. I liked it a lot. "This is your room,"said Aunt Cynthia. "It's great,"I commented placing the bags on my bed. "Thank you Julia and I decorated it for you,"informed Aunt Cynthia smiling at me. I smiled back. I noticed a small mirror on a table on the mirror were pictures of Alyssa,Joe, and Me from our Teen Vouge shot. I realized that the Teen Vouge issue came out today. "Do you like those?"asked Julia. I nodded trying not to cry. "I cut those out for you,"whispered Julia. I laughed and patted her on the head while I looked at the pictures. "Come on, I'll show you to my room,"urged Julia taking my hand, Julia dragged into a hallway that had four rooms I could see. My room was next to Julia's and a guest room I guessed was across from Julia's. The bathroom was next to the guest room, and Aunt Cynthia's room was at the end of the hall. Chapter 18 54 South St. June 5:32 "This is a great spot,"I commented standing on my new porch. The house had a view of the Ipswich River. "I know, we love Ipswich,"replied Aunt Cynthia placing the three bowls of Annie's Mac and Cheese. "It's beautiful here,"I said again. "I know right,"piped Julia who suddenly stopped making pig noises. "Julia, can you get the forks and spoons please,"requested Aunt Cynthia. Julia promptly nodded and headed through the white screen door. "Did you adopt Julia?"I asked Aunt Cynthia. "No, my husband died when she was very little,"answered Aunt Cynthia sadly. "Oh, I'm sorry,"I apologized looking at my feet. "Oh don't worry honey thats fine,"returned Aunt Cynthia. Julia came back onto the porch just in time. "Cool,"I commented. Personally, I hated school and going to a new school for the first time in my life wasn't going to change my opinion. I ate my food until Julia broke the ackward silence. Chapter 19 Aunt Cynthia's house 6:05 June11th I had set my ipod for 6:05, since I had to leave at 6:45 to walk to school. I woke up abruptly to the loud beeping sound coming from my ipod. I looked at the clock, yep exactly 6:05. I slauntered out of my new extremely comfy bed and got up to open my closet. I picked out a Juicy Couture sweatshirt with plain skinny jeans and black Converse and a black belt. I brushed my hair neatly, i didn't add any fancy hairstyles and put a brown necklace on. I grabbed my lavender L.L. Bean backpack, which had nothing in it except for my cell phone. I shut my ipod off and placed in it my backpack. I went down the stairs quietly to not wake anyone up. I made myself what Alyssa used to make me every morning, Cinnamon toast. I finished my breakfast and waited at the kitchen counter playing around with the Apps on my Iphone. Someone knocked on the door. I ran to the other room to open the door. A girl with mouse brown frizzy hair and a black Twilight sweatshirt and plain jeans and sneakers waited at the door smiling with her backpack. "Hi,"she greeted. I smiled and waved. I grabbed my backpack and shut the door behind me. "So your Emma?"I asked. She nodded. "Your a junior?"she questioned in return. I nodded. We walked until we reached a small red house, we walked up a white porch and knocked on the door. A girl with blonde hair and bright blue eyes walked out. She wore multi-colored barrettes in her high side ponytail. She wore a purple American Eagle sweatshirt with denim capri's and purple Croc's. "Hi Ellie,"she said excitedly. I waved again. "I'm Maggie,"she introduced. "Hi are you a sophmore too?" "Ya, OMG you were dating Joe, I can't believe I'm talking to you,"blurted Maggie embracing her in a hug. I winced when she said Joe's name. "Maggie, please she probably doesn't want to talk about him,"argued Emma as all three of us walked down the steps. I giggled ackwardly. The rest of the walk I listened to Maggie's and Emma's conversation's. ************************************* We all walked into the main entrance of the Ipswich High School. Maggie and Emma waved to me and headed to the Sophmore classes. I walked into the main office and asked for a scheduale. Suddenly two girls walked in to the office together. "Hi!"piped one of the girls. She had straight blonde hair and a pink Hollister t-shirt with blue jeans and Burkenstocks and pink Coach glasses. She looked really friendly. "Hi, I'm Ellie,"I introduced. "Oh your the new student,"realized the girl. "Hi I'm Hawley! I'm in your grade,"continued Hawley. The girl behind her with long red hair waved. "Oh and this is Anna,"finally introduced Hawley. "Hi,"responded Anna she smiled and revealed perfect white teeth. I smiled, jealous of her perfect teeth. "So um where's Science?"I asked giggling. "Oh, Science,"she laughed, "I have Science too, cool, I'll show you your classes,"replied Hawley bouncing up and down. I laughed at her hyperness as we walked toward the Junior's classrooms. *********************************** I sat at lunch between Hawley and Anna. I eat a bowl of ravioli. "Who are they?"I asked Hawley. A bunch of girls walked by the table that wore Abercrombie items, sparkly eyeshadow, and dark eyeliner. The girl a the head of the group was exceptionally tall, her hair was a chestnut brown and extremely glossy. Her eyes were a piercing blue. She could have been a model. I frowned at her perfectness. "That's Leah, total Airhead,"classified Hawley digging into her salad. I nodded. A bunch of boys followed the girls toward the table including a very cute guy with a Celtics jersey. "Who's that?" "I just told you Leah,"repeated Hawley giving me an are-you-okay look. "No the boy sitting next to her,"I re-asked. "Oooh, oh that's Owen most popular guy in our grade, he and Leah HATED each other for a long time but now their suddenly going out, it's odd,"informed Hawley. I looked glumly at Owen. "Jealous of her?"questioned Anna chuckling.I gave her a kind-of expression. This made Anna laugh again."You shouldn't she's a total mess, she get's F's in every subject, well, ya she's super pretty but she's a horrible person,"explained Anna. "She used to be awesome in 5th grade,"blurted a girl who sat down in the seat across from Hawley. "Oh Ellie this is another Anna,"said Hawley. The second Anna had light blue braces with a gray Aerie t-shirt with ripped jeans and light Blue Nike sneakers. "Hi,"I welcomed waving to her. "Heeey!"replied the second Anna. She reminded me of Sydney. The second Anna looked at me with her blue-gray eyes in a friendly manner. More people sat down near us. I actually was liking school a little bit. Chapter 20 Band room 2:22 June 14 "Wait one sec, I'll walk with you I just need to grab my oboe,"stated Anna walking into the bandroom. I bunch of older seniors were standing around one guy who was playing the drums. The guy had short red-brown hair and wearing a lumberjack shirt. A boy with short spiky dirty brown hair was standing next to him, this boy looked like a younger version of Robert Pattinson. I gaped at his distinction. "Hey guys look, aren't you the sister of Alyssa from Deja Vu?"asked the Robert Pattinson guy nudging another guy who was standing next to him with long brown hair with a green American Eagle dress shirt. I nodded still gaping at him. "Ok, then,"reacted the Robert Pattinson guy. The drum playing guy chuckled. "Hey Scott, it looks like you have a fan,"he commented. Scott blushed, while the other two guys laughed. I turned away at this and closed my jaw with my hand. Anna led me out of the band room. "Don't worry those guys are always there, they think they have a 'band',"informed Anna putting hand quotation's around "band". I laughed and walked out of the school with her to my house. Chapter 21 A class (Science) 7:34 June 16 "Good Morning students, as you know school ends in three more days,"welcomed the principal over the intercom. Everyone in my Science class hollered with happiness. I smiled. It was first class and the principal always did morning announcements over every intercom in the High School. "Anyway, it's an Ipswich High School tradition to have a talent show,"announced the principal again. This time everyone whispered about their try-out plans for the Talent shows. "Try out's are tomorrow please come if you would like to share your talent to the school." My friend Maddie who sat next to me nudged my ribs. "Ow,"I yelped. "Ellie, you should totally try out for the talent show, I've heard you sing before you will definately get in,"urged Maddie giving me a hopeful expression. "I don't know I don't want people to make fun of me...wait when have you heard me sing,"I asked. I had never sang in front of people before. "Oh when you were walking to school you were listening to The Climb and I was walking next to you, like six inches,"explained Maddie. I giggled as I recalled when Nick and said that he was standing six inches away from Joe and I they night we had met. "What are you laughing at?"she questioned tilting her head to the right in a confused manner. "Nothing." "No but, seriously Ellie you should try out,"added Rachel who was sitting across from Maddie at our Science table. "Ya,"agreed Caroline who sat next to Rachel. I blushed. "I want to but I don't want you know who or anyone else to make fun of me, i have a mousy voice,"I reasoned pointing the direction where Leah her friend Mariah, Kylee and Kristina sat giggling and writing stuff on each others hands. Rachel, Caroline, and Maddie gave me a are-you-kidding-me expression at the same time. I laughed at this. "One, you do NOT have a mousy voice, and second of all if they make fun of you Rachel will beat them up,"joked Maddie. "Ya,"continued Rachel jokingly cracking her knuckles. I rolled my eyes. "Seriously, you should try out though,"said Caroline changing subjects "It doesn't matter what they think, like Dr. Suess said 'Those you mind don't matter, and those you don't mind matter,"quoted Caroline. "Nerd,"coughed Rachel. "You be quiet,"snapped Caroline. "I'm just trying to make a point here,"she pointed out. I nodded. "I'll think about it,"I answered. They all clapped happily. Chapter 22 Auditorium 2:56 June 17 I sat in the huge auditorium with my ipod in my ears. I listened to the song that I was about to sing. Even though the song was by the evil Miley Cyrus I thought the song was the most appropiate song to sing. I had looked up the lyrics the night before and they totally represented what I was feeling all this time. I sat next to Lexi who was preforming a dance number with her best friends Samantha, Lindsey, and Britta to Stronger by Kanye West. "Lexi, Samanta, Lindsey, and Britta,"called our Art teacher who was judging the contestants. "Good luck Ellie,"waved Lexi. "You too,"I returned smiling and waving to her as she walked toward the stage. I waited until they were done with their extremely impressive dance routine, full with splits, cartwheels and flips. "Ellie,"called the Art teacher. I turned my ipod off, placed it in my pocket and took a deep breath. I recieted the lyrics in my head as I walked toward the stage, which felt like a long hike in this case. "Yeah here I am,"I greeted waving. I saw Lexi give me a thumbs up while the rest of the girls waved at me. They were all in my math class. "Your singing,"she assured. I nodded. "Well go ahead, set up your music and blow us away,"finished the Art teacher. I took my ipod out from my pocket and plugged it into the closest Ihome. I chose the backround music to the song I had found and waited until the end of the introduction. I started to pour my heart. When the song had finished everyone who was in the auditorium stood up and clapped. The teachers who were judging did the same. I would show that I was more than a backstage groupie. If only Deja Vu and Joe was there to see me. Chapter 23 Backstage 1:34 June 19th "Your gonna do great,"assured Hawley. Maggie, Emma, Hawley, Anna, Anna, Rachel, Maddie, and Caroline were backstage with me. "You guys better get to the audience before I go on,"I whispered as the girl before me finished her piano piece. They all nodded. Maggie came up to me. "You might be surprised who's out there,"she whispered in my ear. I quickly stuck my head on stage and gasped happily. Alyssa, Mollie, Vikki, and Eva were standing in the back of the auditorium talking to each other and pointing to the program. "And here is Ellie Waterfields singing The Climb,"introduced the eighth grader who was my friend named Emily. She smiled and gave me the thumbs up as I walked on stage. The music started and I took a big breath and tried to ignore my shaking legs. I can almost see it that dream I'm dreaming I looked around the audience and spotted Leah and her snobby crew sitting, it looked like the had smelt something extremely smelly by the look on their faces. There's a voice inside saying you'll never reach it Leah suddenly whispered in her other friend Leah's ear and they bothed giggled and looked at me. Every step I'm taking every move I'm makes feel lost and in no direction my faith is shaking I looked at Alyssa and the rest of the band and gained more confidence knowing they were there to see me blow the crowd out. I started crying. I wish Joe was here. I knew he was too busy to come. My thoughts were interrupted by someone screaming happily. I looked up and saw Vikki running toward me. I instantly stood up and hugged me. "I can't believe you guys, you flew all the way over here to just see me sing,"I said. I was crying. Eva and Mollie ran over and embraced. I started to cry even more. Vikki let go of me and I saw Alyssa I ran forward and embraced her with a huge hug. "I missed you too,"she greeted. "I know we missed you, and we decided that we missed you too much,"stated Alyssa. I looked up at Alyssa with hopeful eyes. "We are going to take you home soon before Christmas,"announced Alyssa. I hugged her and smiled. Alyssa released me and spun me around. I looked around, my jaw dropped to the floor. Joe was standing at the end of the lobby beaming. I shut my jaw and cried even more. I ran as fast as I ever had in my life toward him when I reached him he grabbed me and spun me around. I hugged him and didn't let go of him until he released me and kissed me. "I can't believe your here,"I sobbed. His perfect face was colorful splots. "Same, did you hear your going home to California soon,"he told happily. I nodded. I suddenly heard screaming behind me. A bunch of girls had spotted Joe. "Run,"hollered Joe grabbing my hand and dragging me down the hall toward the door to the parking lot. The girls kept chasing us. We bolted out the door and toward the back of the parking lot. Suddenly it started to rain. Joe had stopped which caused me to trip. He caught me before I hurt myself. He kissed me while it started to pour and drenching us. "This is exactly like a cheesy movie you know,"I said. Ya,"he agreed."Except this isn't a movie this is real,"he replied beaming.
