New Reader!!!! yayyyy!!!! Ok, here you go guys :)
Ch. 8
The picture had always been Joe's favorite, so I had framed it. I personally hated it. I looked annoyed, my hair was frizzy,and Joe's eyes were twinkling with laughter, his shirt soaked with sweat.
The bottom of my backpack slapped the back of my thighs, as I walked through the halls, digging my key out of my pocket. I unlocked it and crossed the room to my bed. It was the middle of September, three weeks into the semester. Amanda had so far turned out to be perfect. She had graduated number 1 from her high school, played on USC's soccer team, and was on the newspaper staff. She had a boyfriend, and her parents lived a couple hours away. She was lying on her bed, science book stretched out in front of her. I smiled and kicked my shoes off my feet, flopping down onto my bed. I was planning on checking my email, a huge paragraph to Kirsten about how much I hated it here, and than to bury under my covers and sleep for the whole weekend. But than the phone rang. I answered it lazily, hoping it was Kirsten.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jude, It's Joe." I hadn't talked to Joe since he left that night when he helped me move in.
"Oh hey Joe."
"I was wondering, I have a night off tonight, would you maybe like want to i don't know, go out? Grab something to eat?" Oh. My. God. Joseph Adam Jonas was asking me out.
"That, that would be great." My heart was thumping excitedly.
"Ok, I'll pick you up in an hour?"
"That would be great." I hung up the phone, and shrieked, causing Amanda to close her book.
Fifty minutes later, I paced nervously in the twelve inches between mine and Amanda's bed, twirling my newly straightened piece of hair between my fingers. Amanda was half studying, half looking at me.
"You look fine." She rolled her eyes and went back to her history book. She didn't see what the big deal was, she constantly got dates, even though she had a boyfriend. Kirsten, on the other hand, had been estatic when I called her a few minutes earlier.
"Finally!" She'd yelled. A steady knock interrupted my pacing, and I rushed to the door, opening it up. There was Joe, wearing black skinny jeans and a tight yellow polo, a bunch of tulips in front of him.
I only remember bits and pieces of that first date, strange details that jump out at me every so often, tugging my heartstrings. I remember the way al the mustached waiters smiled at Joe when we first walked in. I remember the feeling of the sticky vinyl seat stuck to the seat of my jeans. I remember the way Joe ordered his pizza with an italian accent. I remember picking up my sweaty Coke glass, and slurping up the last bit, sneakily watching as Joe ate the last bit of his pepperoni pizza, managing to grin widely even as he ate. I remember the comfortable silence as we drove home, Joe with one hand on the steering wheel, the other covering mine. I remember Joe jumping out to open my door for me, saying goodnight next to his car, than him cautiously bringing his hand to my face and kissing me, his lips tasting softly of pepperoni.

Ch. 9
We were in that in between period. The period, when you don't want to say he's your boyfriend, but you go out every weekend and text a lot, and sometimes he even calls you. That stupid in between period. It was two weeks after we'd first gone out, the last week of September. It was USC's first home game, and I was stewing on my bed, trying to figure out if I wanted to give the impression I loved the school by showing up, when Joe called.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"I thought you had filming today." Yes, they filmed most Saturdays too, until like seven.
"Kevin threw up, and he was in most of the scenes so we had to delay it." Man, Kevin must enjoy puking.
"So we can hang out today?" I said perkily. This was great! It could save me from, going to the game, plus I could even have an excuse!
"Yeah, I think we should go to the football game tonight." Dammit. I could hear a smirk in his voice too.
"Oh, c'mon, it won't be that much fun." I tired to sound casual, like it was no big deal, but once again, Joe caught me.
"I've never been to a USC game before, I think it will be fun." Bah humbug.
"Joe, you know I'm not into that whole team spirit thing."
"Oh, c'mon Jude, it'll be more fun than anything else we could do." True. Since Joe didn't want to be caught by the paparazzi, we were confined to either my apartment or his house, or Mario's, the italian restaurant we'd gone to on our first date, or a midnight showing.
"Well, how can you go without being spotted?" Ha, I caught him.
"I have a plan. I'll be in your apartment in a hour." Than he hung up.
An hour later, I was grumpily sitting on my bed in the only USC shirt I owned, the freebie we got with check in. I looked terrible in maroon, so I was not in a good mood. Amanda and her boyfriend, all ready to go, were politely (did I mention she was perfect) waiting on her bed, to go down to the stadium with me and Joe. There was a knock on the door and I bounced up, patting down my hair as I made my way over to the door. I swung it open, and there was Joe.
"Oh my god." Joe smirked and kissed me on the cheek.
"Hey baby." He had covered half his face in red paint,and the other in yellow, his famously beautiful hair covered up in a gray USC baseball cap. No one in the world would ever recognize him. Ever. He stepped in the doorway, and I closed the door behind him, still in shock. Amanda and Greg had both gotten up off the bed, ready to greet Joe, and I saw Amanda's mouth drop.
"Nice disguise, Joe." He grinned.
"Thanks." I had to admit, it was a pretty genius way, and no one would ever suspect it, just figure he was another diehard fan. He crossed over, and grabbed my hand, and we exited after Amanda and Greg, hand in hand, just a normal college couple.
"Go!"
"USC!" The plushy mascot trojan was parading around, pumping his fist, trying to "hype up the crowd". I had to admit, I'd gotten kind of into it, even in the five minutes we'd been there. A guy from my english class suddenly turned around, and grinned at me. Ben. Oh, ben, that guy had been trying to date me since the first day of class.
"Hey Judith." I was Judith to him, except it was starting to get weird for me to hear Judith, Jude was so much cooler.
"Hi Ben." I tried to smile.
"Who's this?" He pointed a chubby finger at Joe, whose arm was strung around my shoulder.
"This is Joe, my umm, umm." I looked at Joe, pleading for him to save me, for me to finally know what word to use.
"I'm her boyfriend." Joe said, sticking out his hand for Ben to shake and looking at me to make sure he used the right word. I smiled at him, and when he let go of Ben's hand, I leaned over and gave him a gigantic kiss, from now on we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Amanda popped up right in the middle of our kissing fest, a digital camera in her hands.
"Lemme get a picture!" Joe's arms was back on my shoulder, I smiled wide, and CLICK
