okay guys so i've decided imma write some one shots for my girls, so be on the look out. :D
Hello Hollywood
One Shot For Tricia
My heart is pounding, my hands are shaking, and nerves are taking over my body nearly paralyzing me with fear. Can I really do this? What if I go out there and everyone hates me? What would I do?
I should probably tell you how and what in the world I became so nervous for, so let's review a little.
The tour busses picked everyone up in front of me and the guys' houses and the tour began. We spent the day riding on the guys' bus, but eventually stopped for some dinner. Then Julie, Sam, and I all headed back to our bus for the night. The guys had their bus and we girls had ours. We decided to get to bed a little early since tomorrow was the opening show and would be a long day.
It took me some time to get to sleep, as I was full of nerves and excitement. Tomorrow would be the first day that I would open for the Jonas Brothers... The best day of my life.
I sleepily turned onto my side in my bunk and brought the covers up to my chin. I was almost back to sleep when I heard the curtain to my bunk open. Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I tried not to smile and pretend I was asleep.
"I know you're not sleeping Lovebug." Joe said in a sing song voice. I giggled and turned over to face Joe, who was now lying in my bunk with me. I tried to say something, but I just started giggling. I was so excited for tonight's show that I couldn't even say anything.
Joe looked puzzled. "Uh, good morning?"
I laughed a little more before I calmed down. "I'm just so excited for the show. I can't even— EEP!" I squealed and covered my face with my hands and giggled some more. That's kind of what happens when I get super excited. I heard Joe chuckle as he pulled my hands away and kissed my forehead.
"I love you." He said with a smile that gave me butterflies. I smiled before I just wrapped my arms around Joe and buried my face in his chest.
"I love you too." I said, even though it was a little muffled. I felt Joe chuckle a bit as he pulled me closer. I was getting really comfortable and almost starting to fall asleep. Joe started humming and stroking my hair, making me even more relaxed. "You shouldn't do that." I said without moving from my position.
"Why not?" Joe asked.
"Because you probably came here to wake me up, and you're making me fall asleep again. We'll be here all day if you keep it up."
Joe chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "Hey, I don't mind staying like this all day."
I giggled. "If you don't mind, I don't mind." I closed my eyes and listened to Joe's humming.
"Joe! You were supposed to wake Tricia up, not fall asleep in her bunk!" I looked up to see Kevin smirking at us with his arms crossed.
"Aw, but they're so cute." Julie walked up and wrapped her arms around Kevin's waist. "Besides, having you guys wake us up is a nice way to start the day." She reached up and kissed his cheek.
"Yeah, we're cute." Joe said as he stuck his tongue out at Kevin. I giggled as Joe pulled up the blanket.
Nick walked by and stopped when he saw Julie and Kevin staring at us. "Hey! I thought you said we had to wake the girls up, not... that." He motioned his hands toward me and Joe.
"Well apparently Joe and Tricia are cute and get to do what they want." Kevin joked.
Joe and I looked at each other before we each threw a pillow at him. "Hey!"
Once we got up, the girls and I got dressed, and met the guys in the back of our bus. A few minutes later, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas came onto the bus and found us all in the back.
"Good morning everyone! Hope you all slept well!" Mrs. Jonas sang as she hugged each of us.
"Are you all ready for a busy day today?" Mr. Jonas asked with a smile. "So you think you can keep up, Tricia?" he joked.
"I sure hope so." I laughed.
Mr. Jonas ran through the schedule of today, going over the times of run throughs of the show to sound check to the lockdown right before the show. First on the list was to check out the arena and the stage and make sure everyone knew when to be where. We all walked off the bus and into this huge building. After walking down what seemed to be miles and miles of hallway, Mr. Jonas stopped at a door marked "Backstage: Crew and Performers Only".
The guys seemed excited, which only caused my anticipation of what was on the other side of the door to grow. "Okay, are you guys ready to see where you will be performing tonight?" The guys and I nodded furiously and Julie and Sam laughed at us. Then Mr. Jonas opened the door and let us all through. I walked through and gasped at what
I saw. "Oh... My... Gosh..." I walked out to the center of the stage under bright lights, and looked at the thousands of empty chairs in front of me.
"Isn't it awesome?" Joe whispered in my ear as he wrapped both arms around my shoulders from behind.
"More than that." I smiled. "Can I?" I pointed towards the very last row in the arena.
Joe chuckled. "Of course. But only on one condition."
"What's that?" I asked as I tilted my head.
A smirk grew across Joe's face. "Race ya!" He suddenly jumped off the front of the stage and started running down the aisles of seats.
"Hey! Wait up!" I took off after him and eventually caught up to Joe. We took two different stairways up to the very last row in the top balcony. When I reached the top, I looked for Joe, but didn't see him. I waited for a second, thinking that I couldn't be that far ahead of him. "Joe?" I called.
I walked over to the door that Joe would have had to come through to be on the balcony. I opened it and looked down the stairs. Nothing. "Where did he go?" I said to myself.
"Right here!" Suddenly arms were around my waist and I was being lifted up and spun around from behind.
"Joe!" I squealed. Eventually he put me down and I had to catch my breath. I leaned against the back wall and looked up at Joe who was smiling at me. "You're ridiculous." I chuckled.
Joe smiled and walked up to me. He put his hands on the wall on either side of me and leaned in so he was inches away from my face. "And you're ridiculously beautiful." I giggled as he leaned in and kissed me. A few seconds later, a bright light was shining on us. We pulled apart and held our hands up to block the huge spotlight that was shining on us. We saw that it was Nick and Kevin up over the stage with the huge spotlight.
"Isn't the spotlight supposed to be on you guys?" I yelled to them.
"Maybe!" Kevin yelled back. "But this is much more fun."
I chuckled as I looked to Joe. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Joe raised an eyebrow and looked over at me. "Only if you’re thinking we should totally get them."
"You read my mind Jonas." I smirked. Joe and I took off running in different directions, dodging the spotlight that Kevin and Nick were trying to chase us with. When they realized that Joe and I were coming after them, they split up. I snuck around to the stairs that would lead up to the catwalk over the stage, but Kevin and Nick were gone. I turned around to continue looking for them."BOO!"
"AHH!" I squealed as Kevin was right in front of me. "Kevin!" I jokingly hit his arm as he burst out laughing. "Not funny!"
"You should have seen your face!" Kevin laughed.
I rolled my eyes at him as I walked back out to the stage where Nick and Joe were. "I found him!" Joe smiled at me. I laughed as I kissed his cheek.
Mr. and Mrs. Jonas came out to the stage as well, and we ran through everything. I would be announced and run out from the side of the stage and perform my set. We planned my exit strategy and how I would introduce the boys. I was so excited, but nervous at the same time as we did run-through after run-through.
Eventually, it was show time! My hair was done with my bangs to the side and the rest of my hair in soft curls. I got to wear really cute white skinny jeans and converse, with a back shirt and white cropped vest. I felt pretty good as the makeup artist finished my eyes. I looked in the mirror and could not believe what was about to happen. All my dreams were about to come true.
I ran down the hall and found Joe waiting for me. Before he could say anything, I ran into his arms. "Someone is a little excited, huh?" he chuckled.
"Only a little." I smiled as I pulled away. Joe smiled and took my hand, leading me to where everyone was waiting to say a few words before we performed. I couldn't help but feel the nerves taking over.
"Okay, it's show time!" Mr. Jonas patted my back. I walked over to the side of the stage and peeked out at the audience. Thousands upon thousands of screaming fans, all waiting for the most amazing concert of their lives. All of a sudden, the stadium announcer announced my name.
"And now, to kick off the Jonas Brothers tour, please welcome their opening act, Patricia Williams!" The crowd went wild
