Beep Beep Beep Beep

"Ughhhhhhhhhhhh" Mandy thought as she hit the snooze button and looked at the clock. "OH SH!T! MY BUS COMES IN LIKE 5 MINUTES!" As she rushed to get ready her phone vibrated. "Just what I need!" She picked it up and looked at the screen.

1 new text message

It was from her best friend Tiffany. She went to her inbox and read the text.

“Hey Girlie! Are you in a place where you can scream?! Cause I've got major news!!”

“I'm at home. I missed my bus... ITS ALL YOUR FAULT TOO! Jaykay bay bay. What's the news?” She texted back.

A few minutes later her phone vibrated.

“THERES A NEW JB CONTEST!”

Mandy's jaw dropped and she screamed. She LOVED the Jonas Brothers. (Especially Nick) Her fingers flew as she texted back.

“OMJ! We HAVE to win that contest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Mandy,Tiffany, Demi, Dani, Jessi, and all their other friends entered the contest as many times as possible and they were so excited to find out if they won. Almost all of their conversations consisted of “OMJ! WOULDN'T IT BE AWESOME IF WE WON AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS HAPPENED?!?!?!”

About a week or so later the group was sitting in Choir chatting about, you guessed it, the Jonas Brothers. When all of a sudden Mandy's ex-best friend Courtney and her friends came running into the room screaming. Mandy rolled her eyes and said “Look everyone, it's the wicked b!tch of the school and her flying monkeys.” “Let's drop a bus on them.” Demi suggested. “Sounds good.” Dani agreed. “Works for me.” Jess added in. Cortney ran over to the girls and smirked “Did you losers hear? I won the Jonas Brothers contest! I get to meet Kevin, Joe, and NICK.” She emphasized “Nick” knowing Mandy likes him the most out of the three boys.

Courtney skipped off to her minions. “B!tch.” Mandy insulted. “Wh0re” “Skank” “Slut” Tiffany, Dani, and Demi agreed. Jess thought for a second and finally came up with “Uhhhmmmm.... POO-HEAD!” The girls laughed until Mr. Walsh came in and told everyone to quiet down. The girls passed notes like always.

And right as Dani was passing the note to Demi, Sydney (a Courtney follower) raised her hand. “Uhm, Mr. Walsh? Since when is it ok to pass notes?” “Never. Why?” He replied. “Because Mandy, and whats-their-faces are passing notes!” Mr. Walsh took the note from Dani and tore it up before throwing it it the garbage. “Strike one ladies. Let's do scales! Do......” The class began “Do.. Re... Mi... Fa... Sol...” Then Demi raised her hand. The class stopped. “Yes, Demi?” Mr. Walsh asked. “Uhm, Mr. Walsh?” She began mockingly. “Since when is it ok to not sing warm-ups?” Mr. Walsh sighed. “Never. Why?” “Because Courtney, and whats-their-faces aren't singing!” She smirked at Sydney. “Strike one ladies!” Mr. Walsh bellowed in the direction of Courtney and her friends. The rest of the hour was glaring and smirking.
