Chapter One

"Heres you are, have a nice day" Aimee said as she handed a man his bill for his meal.

The man put some cash on the table, and left a small tip for Aimee. She gave a fake smile to the man, and when he left she checked how much he gave her.

"2 buck?! What kind of tip is 2 dollars? I am never going to be able to quit this job and go to college with these lousy tips!" Aimee moaned to her friends/co workers Lanie and Haley.

"I’ve been waitresses for what 2 years now? You two have only been here for a year, I feel like we’re never going to get out of this small town in Minnesota" Aimee said as she took off her apron and sat down next to Lanie and Haley who were on their break.

"This puddings really good today" Haley said as she took a spoonful of her chocolate pudding

Lanie and Aimee both sighed, they knew Haley was random, and half the time she wasn’t listening because she was in her own little world, but thats what they loved about her.

"I think she’s more random now then when we first met" Lanie joked

*Flashback to last year*

"Aimee, I noticed you’ve been a little overworked, so I decided to hire two more girls" Chad the manager of the diner said

The bell above the front entrance jingled and two girls walked inside, and over to Chad.

"Good morning ladies, Id like to you meet Aimee, Aimee this is Lanie and Haley" Chad said

"Nice to meet you both" Aimee said happily, she was excited that she finally wasn’t the only teen waitress in the diner anymore.

Lanie and Haley smiled and shook Aimees hand.

"So girls, seeing as its almost Christmas..and business isn’t busy at the moment how about you start decorating the diner up?" Chad asked

"Sure" the girls said, Chad pulled out a huge box with Christmas decorations and handed it to Aimee.

"I’ll be back in a bit, I just have to go check on our food inventory" Chad said as he headed into the back of the diner.

Haley noticed a jukebox in the corner and immediately turned it on to the chipmunks Christmas carol, and began singing it just like the chipmunks do in the song. Lanie and Aimee began cracking up, and soon joined in too. Within an hour the girls were all bonding and singing as if they had been friends forever.

Chapter 2

"Where are all the customers?" Lanie asked as she looked out the window at the snowy pathway and empty parking lot.

"Obviously not here" Haley said as she began braiding her hair.

Just then the door opened, and 3 boys walked inside and shook the snow off their clothes. The eldest one had dark curly hair and looked as if he was Aimees age[19]. The middle one had shaggy straight black hair, and the youngest had curly brown hair.

Lanie walked over to the boys,

"Hi welcome to Chads diner, how many?" Lanie asked

"3" Kevin said with a smile

Lanie grabbed 3 menu’s and led the boys to a booth.

"Here you are, my friend I will be over in a minute to take your orders" Lanie said, the boys nodded their heads and Lanie walked over to Aimee and Haley.

"Omg did you see how cute those boys were?" Lanie whispered, Haley stared at the guys and nodded.

"Yeah they are pretty cute, especially the one with the curly hair" Haley said as she continued looking.

"Stop staring at them, they are gonna get creeped out and leave and we haven’t had customers all day so we need the cash" Aimee said

"But..they are just so cute" Lanie said

"I’ll be their waitress, cause your too ga ga over those boys now" Aimee said as she grabbed a notepad and headed over to the guys.

"Ready to order boys?" Aimee asked as she led her pen and notepad.

"Where’d our other waitress go?" the one boy asked.

"Oh um she was focusing on something else, so Im going to be your waitress, Is that alright?" Aimee asked

"Yeah!" the oldest one said.

He blushed when he realized how enthusiastic he sounded. Which made Aimee laugh.

The boys all ordered cheeseburgers and fries, and Aimee went to the kitchen to place their orders.

Meanwhile at the table...

"Kevin, we both saw the way you were eying our waitress"

"Joe shut up! I was not" Kevin said as he hit Joes arm.

"Ow hurt" Joe said as he rubbed his arm

"Joe your such a wuss, Kevin doesn’t punch hard" Nick said

"So why don’t you ask this waitress for her number? I mean shes the first girl you’ve eyed since we got to Minnesota, and since we’re doing this whole collaborating on the new album in a small town thing, we’re gonna be here a while remember?" Joe said hoping Kevin wouldn’t hit him again

"I can’t just look at our waitress and say hey I think your pretty lets go on a date" Kevin said,

Joe and Nick were silent, Nick lifted up his hand and pointed behind Kevin. He turned his body around to see Aimee standing their holding their food.
