CHAPTER TWO
It's only the second week of summer break. And still, I've already done everything you can possibly do around here. Mall, movies, mini golf, bowling, the list continues on and on. So on a Monday in summer, what can a 15 year old girl do?
Hang out with her "boyfriend" maybe?
I decided to call Steven to see what he wanted to do today. Having him as my boyfriend is GREAT, don't get me wrong. But I just can't figure out my true feelings for him. I dialed his cell. He picked up after two rings.
"Hey cutie what's up?" he asked. I got butterflies in my stomach. I guess he was worth it.
"Nothing. What do you want to do today?" I asked him.
"How about that fair later? It starts at noon I can pick you up then," he said. I looked at the time. It was nine o clock. I showered and did my hair last night so I had a ton of time.
"Okay sounds good. See you later. Love you!" I added at the end with a smile.
"Love you too," he said.
Don't get me wrong, being with him is great. But it feels different, like we're better off friends or something. But I just cannot figure out my feelings for this boy. And he can't figure out his feelings for me either.
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, some Lemon Propel and started to walk into the computer room.
Cause you're everywhere to me
When I close my eyes it's you I see.
You're everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone.
My phone rang to Yellowcard's version of the Michelle Branch original, Everywhere. That song basically amazes me. I don't know why. It just does.
"Hello?" I asked into my cell. I was sitting on the computer, logging into Myspace.
"Hey, what's up?" asked my friend Megan. She's one of my closest friends...we're basically like sisters. Everyone thinks we are too, because we look alike. Blonde.
"Nothing really. On the computer. Why what are you up to?" I asked. I was curious. She sounded excited about something.
"Oh nothing. Just peeing myself because MY DAD GOT US BACKSTAGE PASSES TO THE FAIR WHERE THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE PERFORMING TODAY!"
She screamed. I screamed. We were screaming.
"NO WAY I COMPLETELY FORGOT THEY WERE PERFORMING THERE!!!" I yelled back into the phone. The truth is...I forgot. How could I forget they were performing at the fair? Duh Lanie. Blonde.
"Okay well yeah, I got the passes. My dad was helping set up there this morning, because of his Director Association Union Organization Thingy Unite I have no idea what it's called but yeah his JOB permitted him to help set up the stage, and they are the performersssssssssssss!" she shrieked.
I couldn't help but laugh. Everything she said was just ten times funnier than if anyone else was going to say it.
"Let's goooo! I'm so excited! Wait...I was gonna go with Steven. Oh I'll just tell him and he can catch up with Randall and the guys he won't care. I think we might finally split for good anyways," I told her.
"But you guys are PERFECT together!" she yelled at me. "Oh well, I'll meet you there at two. They go on at three thirty and we can watch their soundcheck because of our bangin VIP status."
I laughed a little bit. "Okay, see you later!"
"Bye!"
I looked at the time. It was already ten. I guess we talked and babbled longer than I expected. Then I went on my Myspace. I had new picture comments, comments, and messages.
I clicked on the messages first, and almost fell out of my chair when I saw the sender of one of them.
haha okay so i'm leaving it off there. but i might write the next chapter right now cause i wanna keep going. readers please? comments? kay thanks! it'll get better. i hope. jb comes in the next chapter!!!
