This Won't Hurt More Than a Pinch
She lay in the bed. The constant beeping replays in her head. The white walls of the room make her dizzy and nauseus. Nothing was turning out how she planned. Ena wished she would have followed the perfect path her parents set out for her. Now she was stuck with hurt and pain.
She lifted her head towards the handle on the door as it slowly turned. The one person she never wanted to see again walked through the door.
"I think we need to talk" was all he said his head looking toward the ground. He didn't even have the courage to look up at her. "what a coward!" she thought to herself. The boy that opened her up to such pleasures and joys was the same one that caused her such pain and angst.
"The nerve of you to show up here Joe" she said staring straight up at him from the bed.
Joe looked up, a blank expression across his face. His eyes shimmered from the wetness of the tears swelling in his eyes. He began to say something under his breath. "...I'm.........
Ena is something you would call perfect, to her everything had to be just right from her clothes to her hair to the position her feet were in during ballet practices to the way she got all A's on her report card. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Adams had everything thing planned out for Ena. Behind her back the other students called her "the robot". But that soon changed, she was tired of her humdrum life and decided to make a change whether the best or not it was a change.
