We tried to get out of her grasp but it was no use. Kaydence. She tugged on my shirt and swung me around. "Congrats for winning, not." she said in a snotty way. Haley just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, like she was in a hurry to get somewhere.
But before I could stop her Kaydence stepped relaly close to me. Too close to comfort. I tried to step back but she tugged me by the shirt. She whispered in my ear where only me and Haley could hear. "Just watch your back" she said divilishy. Then she walked away, just like that. Like nothing even happened.
I kinda stood with shock....Haley rolled her eyes again and dragged me to the Subway line. We grabbed our usual subs and ate in silence. I kept thinking what Kaydence said...but I mean what COULD she do? Nothing, that's what.
We threw away our garbage, grabbed our purchases and headed back to my house.
This was a short walk, we are talking 10 minutes tops, and we just chatted on how much fun we were going to have with JB and each other. I opened the entrance to our house, no one was home, as usual, and we plopped ourselves on the couch, our purchases at the door.
I flipped on Disney Channel, Hannah Montana was on. We laughed until our stomachs hurt. Then I felt really tired...like when you ate too much food and woke up too early kind of tired. I slowy drifted off to sleep with Hannah Montana in the background.
No sooner had I snoozed away, there was a nudge on my arm. "Tess? Wake up!"
Will Kaydence get her pay back? Who is shaking Tess's arm?
