I grabbed all my stuff from my locker and walked down the hallway to meet up with Haylee and Kara.They were helping me get ready for my date.
"Hey Aleshia i will pick you up at seven."Brent said
"Oh ok."I said
I hadn't really been paying attention i was still thinking of Nick.Why couldn't i get him out of my head.He's my best friend!
"Hey you two ready to go?"I asked
"Oh ya sorry."Haylee said.She had been talking to her boyfriend Marcus.Haylee turned around and gave him a hug.
"Bye i'll see you tomorrow."Haylee said
"Alright see ya.I love ya."Marcus said
Haylee blushed and gave him another hug.
Haylee and Marcus had been insperable since ninth grade and now we were in eleventh.Well at least i know some people who are not confused about their feelings for a person.Even Kara had her boyfriend.His name is Jarred.He is really nice.And he treats Kara really well.
All of us girls left and walked out to Kara's car.We drove to my house to get me ready for my date.The girls grabbed a chair from the dinning room they grabbed my makeup and my straightner.I sat down and turned on MTV.It was music videos.We were watching the music videos for about two hours when there was a knock on the door.
"Wow he's early."Haylee said
"Get the door!"Kara yelled at her.
"Oh right sorry."Haylee siad
Haylee ran to the door and opened it up.
"Oh its just Nick."Haylee said
"Thanks Haylee your so nice."Nick said
"What can i say."Haylee said
"So you have a big date tonight?"Nick asked
"Ya.Who told you?"I asked
"I got a text from Joe who got one from Marcus who got his from Haylee."Nick said
"Haylee why can't you learn to keep your mouth shut for once."I said
"So where's he taking you?"Nick asked
"I don't know he said something about his aunt's restaruant."I said
"Oh thats cool."Nick said
"Ya."I said
"Ok now that this little conversation is over she needs to get dressed."Kara said
"Oh ya well i'm going to go."Nick said
"Bye."I said
Then the girls grabbed my hands and ran up the staris.
They got me dressed in this white dress it came to the knees.And it had black flowers on it.
It was about seven when there was a knock on the door.I walked down the staris and opened the door.And there Brent stood.He didn't look to nice or anything he had on a simple button up shirt and blue jeans.
"Hey you look good.But we should get going."Brent said
"Oh right."I said
We walked out the door and down the stepes to his car.He had a black ford truck.It was his baby and everyone at are school knew that.Here i'll let you know a little bit about Brent Allen.Well his family is one of the wealthiest families in town.He is the schools quaterback and he is prom king.He has dated Tiffany Black and her best friend Hannah Greenwood.That was one friendship that was down the drain in a matter of hours.His family owns Allen Inc.He is a relly great guy.But he is used to getting everythign he wants with money.He is nice though but his ego is HUGE!But still he is really cute and nice......When he isn't with his friends.But maybe tonight he will be different i hope.
We got in his truck and we left for his aunt's restaurant.We didn't talk to much on are ride there.We got to the restaurant and were seated right away.
We walked to are table and everythign started going a little better.Then it went way bad.
"So well i didn't think you would have said yes to go tonight.I mean i know it is me but still i thought you were dating that Rick guy."Said Brent
"Jerk his name is Nick."I mumbled
"What?"Brent said
"Oh no i'm not dating....Nick...His names Nick."I said
"Oh right whatever."
"So what made you ask me out?"I asked
"Well my parents said i needed to start dating different type of girls you know the ones who aren't party girls and things like that.So i figured you'd be perfect."
"oh ya."I said
I started looking around the restaurant when i saw...NICK and JOE and KEVIN!
I quicly turned away.Oh my gosh why was he here.I bet he is trying to ruin my date.Well no he won't i won't let him.I looked back at Brent and he was starring at me.
"What?"I asked
"Well the lighting in here makes you look so beautiful."
OMG thats the lamest and one of the most used lines.Wow cheesy oh well.
"Umm...Thanks."I said
"Ya."Brent said
He tucked a lock of my hair behind my ear.
"There."He said
"Thanks."I said
Then Brent leaned across the table and went to kiss me.I turned away i didn't want to kiss him.
"What are you doing?"He asked
"I don't want to be kissed."I said
"And why not?"Brent said with a sharp tone in his voice.
"Because i don't LIKE YOU!"I scram.
Maybe i was over re acting but he was being a jerk and i didn't like him.
Nick's POV
I knew that being there at the restaurant when Aleshia was there would make her mad.But i didn't trust that Brent guy.
Joe,Kevin,and I ordered are food and even though are food was there i just kept starring at her.Brent tuck alock of hair behind her ear.
"Wow dude what did the steak ever do to you?"Joe asked
"Ya Nick it's already dead."Kevin said
"What?"I said
I looked down at my plate and my staeak was now covered in fork holes i gues i was freaking out a bit much.Then i heard her yell.I looked over and he looked ticked and she looked plain scared.
Aleshias POV
Brent got up and walked over to my side.He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me twards the door.Why was he doing this?I kept on saying in my head.He is so nice but i mean he is so used to getting what he wants.I was scared.
"Let go of her."Someone siad from behind us.
I turned around and Nick was standing there with Joe and Kevin
"Dudes stay out of this."Brent said
"No we won't."Kevin said
"She's my date."Brent said
"She's my friend."Nick said
"Wait your Nick."Brent said
"Ya."Nick replied.
"Oh hey dude you had your cahnce with her...Now its my turn."Brent said with a smirk on his face.
Nick stepped forward.
"Let go of her and leave her alone."Nick said
"Dude get over it shes mine now and never again will she be yours."Brent said
Nick looked mad.I looked over twards Joe for one second and next thing i knew Brent had let go of my wrist.I looked over and he was on the ground.OH MY GOSH NICK PUNCHED HIM!!
I walked over to Nicks side and we all walked out the door.Nick might have saved me from Brent i had no clue what Brent was thinking but we all knew it wasn't going to be good.I sat in the back seat of Kevin's truck adn all three guys were sitting in front.I was a little made at Nick for showing up.But he saved me.He's a great friend.
