Chapter 1
"Mommy! Mommy! We have new people next to us!" Emmy yelled, looking out the window on a cloudy, rainy Saturday morning. Emmy's mom looked outside too see. "I guess we do. Why don't we go meet them." Emmy ran outside and her mom tagged along. Emmy ran the doorbell. A women opened the door. "Welome to the neighborhood." Emmy's mom said. "I'm Denise and thank you." She said. "Nice to meet you, i'm Marilyn." Emmy's mom replied. "It's raining outside come in." Denise said. Emmy and Marilyn both walked in and saw 3 boys sitting on the couch. "Boys these are our neighbors." Denise said. "Ew you have cooties." Two of the three boys said. "Hi." Said the youngest. "Hi. What's your name?" Emmy asked. "I'm Nick. What's yours?" "My name is Emmy. Wanna go play in the rain?" "Sure let's go." And both Emmy and Nick ran outside to go play in the rain.

Chapter 2
"Joe and Kevin go watch Emmy and Nick, please?" Denise asked. "Ew. No. She has cooties." They both said. "Well if she has cooties why is Nick playing with her?" She asked. "Ok we'll go watch them." They both said. It began to get late and Emmy and Nick began to grow tired so they went inside. Emmy promised Nick she would play with him tomorrow and after that Emmy and Marilyn walked home.
*At the Jonas house*
Nick please come in the bathroom to take a bath." Denise said. "NO!!" Nick screamed. "Please?" She said. "NO!" "Okay well no story tonight." SHe said. And with that Nick ran upstairs into the bathroom to take a shower. "Good boy." She said as she began to shampoo his curls. After Nick was done he got in his pj's, which he accidently put on backwards and went into bed. Denise read him the Three Little Pigs and Nick fell fast asleep in bed.
