Chapter 4
New Home, New Guilt Package
"Dani I'm sure he is fine, no need to cry or anything. If he was upset he'd tell you right?"-Meghan.
"Probably not."-I said crying knowing I did like him but it just couldn't happen. Should I call him? I think I should. I picked up the phone and dialed speed dial #4. He answered in a serious tone. I think he knew it was me.
"Hello?"-Kevin.
"Hey Kev? How's your knee?"-I said knowing he didn't really hurt it.
"My knee? Oh right, yeah it's fine."-Kevin said forgetting about the lie he told me to cover up the night before.
"Kevin I know you didn't really hurt your knee."-Me.
"Psh what uh what makes you say that?(under breath)Joseph I told you not to touch that!"-Kevin.
"Pay-Per-View. I saw it on TV. Kevin why didn't you just tell me how you felt?"-Me.
"Because there is nothing to tell!"-Kevin. He is such a liar.
"Look I have to go but I'll call you later, bye."-Kevin. Then he hung up. Ugh he is so stubborn. I turned on Hannah Montana and it was the episode with Dolly Parton. I loved the part it was at.
"Listen Jake, and listen good, there's only one good game for a guy like you in the world and you're lookin at her!"-Miley.
"What took you so long baby?"-Jake.
"Traffic! Now plant one on me and make me remember why I waste my time with you."-Miley. I looked at Meghan.
"Now why can't it be that easy?"-Me. Meghan laughed. I heard my phone ringing.
"You know when the sun forgets to shine, I'll be there to hold you through the night."-phone.
"IT'S KEVIN!"-Me.
"Do you ever remember Dani having that ringtone?"-Meghan.
"Nope."-Pollilop. I answered it.
"Hello?(pause)Hey Mrs. Jonas(pause)Uh yeah sure hold on."-Me. I ran upstairs. I came down.
"What's up?"-Pollilop.
"Oh Denise wanted to talk to my madre(mom) about something."-Me.
"What?"-Meghan.
"Oh you'll see soon enough."-Me. My mom came out.
"Meghan, Lexi can I give Denise your mother's numbers?"-Mom.
"Ok"-Meghan & Pollilop. A few hours later my mom came out to give us the big news. She shut off the TV and sat on the coffee table in front of us.
"Girls, I have some very big news that I think you'll enjoy. Since you girls are home schooled, the boys have made a very special request. You girls have really grown on them. That's rare.(we smiled) I have talked to Denise, she has talked to your mothers, I have talked to your mothers and we have all worked things out and came to a conclusion. Meghan, since your mother is getting married in June, we will have you back by then. You girls will be going on tour with the boys for a while. To see what it's like. You girls have always said you wanted to be a band someday so now you get to see first hand. But that's only if you want to."-Mom. We all looked at my mom.
"DUH!!!!"-us.
"Ok well you leave first thing in the morning so you girls better get packing!"-Mom. We all scrambled to get ready. Pollilop and Meghan had recently moved in with me because they didn't like their home lives. We were practically sisters. I loved them like my sisters. We had just recently gotten home schooled. We didn't want to deal with it anymore. It all worked out. When we were finished packing it was 8:00 p.m. We had to get some sleep because they would be here at 2:00 a.m. Let's face it, we didn't get a second of sleep. I was so worried about seeing Kevin. They got here and we couldn't be more excited. I saw him and he smiled at me. When we left, thy showed us to our bunks. We were so tired so we just went to bed. Well they did. I got on my laptop and listened to music through my headphones. My bunk was right below Meghan's so her arm was hanging off the bed. It kept bugging me so I slapped it. I was listening to Lifehouse when I got an instant message.
Kev_The_Man_101: Hey.
Kevin's_girl_107: Hey I thought you were asleep.
Kev_The_Man_101: Nope, neither is Joseph, Nick, Pollilop, or Meghan.
Kevin's_girl_107: Meghan is too asleep.

I went back to sleep and the next thing I knew, Kevin was waking me up.
"What time is it?"-Me.
"8 a.m."-Kevin said looking tired.
"Oh is it time to get ready for your guys' photo shoot."-Me.
"All of our photo shoots."-Kevin. I looked puzzled. We all got ready. I made Kevin straighten his hair. I was wearing skinny jeans and a white undershirt. A blue zip-up sweater with my blue Etnies. Meghan was wearing regular jeans and a black undershirt like mine. She had a white sweater like mine and white Vans. We wore matching tops a lot for the fun of it. Pollilop was wearing a green undershirt with a red sweater and red DC's. When we got in, a tall blonde lady put us in makeup and hair. I guess we were getting a photo shoot also. We got to take pictures with the boys. Meghan and Nick's poster was going to say 'Mickey'. Pollilop's and Joseph's was going to say 'Jexi'. Kevin and mine was going to say 'Devin?', cause we weren't dating but they wanted us to be. I insisted our picture was us, back to back. We got to look at them and ours turned out great. Meghan and Nick's was so adorable! I caught them trying to get them to delete one. I looked at it. It looked as if right before they snapped the picture, Nick kissed Meghan. It was so cute. I made them use that one for the poster. Meghan socked me in the arm. I put in my iPod and turned it to 'The Great Escape'. I was dancing around and Kevin snapped a picture with his phone. What a dork! We also got our own individual pictures. Then, Meghan, Pollilop, and I got one together. Then that fateful time came. The interview. The headline would say, 'Bonus Jonas Article inside! Get the inside scoop on their tour, their success, and their new girlfriends!'. I was so nervous I would say something wrong!
"So boys, you guys have had some great concerts lately, please tell us your favorite."-editor.
"Well our favorite would have to be the one we did in Vegas. For many reasons."-Joseph said looking at Pollilop.
"And girls what is it like touring with your favorite band and new boyfriends?"-editor.
"It's awesome. Meghan and I are so lucky to be dating these guys. They are the best."-Pollilop.
"Well what about Dani?"-editor.
"Oh Kevin and I aren't dating."-Me.
"Really?"-editor. Kevin got a disappointed look on his face.
"Yeah we're just friends."-Kevin.
"Well Kevin, we have a miss Holli Beachland here, do you wish to talk to her?"-editor. Meghan and Pollilop looked at me.
"Yeah I would."-Kevin said getting up and walking out of the room. After the interview, I went to go find Kevin. I looked around and I saw through a window in the door in front of me, Kevin and Holli kissing. I ran down the hallway and saw Meghan She saw I was crying so she stopped me. I told her and she was furious. We went back to the bus and Kevin came in.
"Hey Dani."-Kevin.
"Do you hear something Meghan? I think it's a rock star who can't keep his lips to himself."-Me.
"Yeah and that rock star should wipe the lip gloss off his face."-Meghan said shooting him a really mean look. Kevin wiped his lip and tried to talk to me.
"Dani please don't be mad."-Kevin.
"I'm not mad, why would I be mad? I totally understand ok?"-Me.
"Kevin I suggest you back up off of Dani because at this particular moment she wants to rip your face off."-Meghan said reading her magazine. I smiled evilish at him. He backed away a bit.
"How did you even find out?"-Kevin.
"Same way, I find out everything about you Kevin Jonas, you neglect to tell me so I found out the painful way."-Me.
"I'm so sorry."-Kevin.
"Just don't worry about it. It's alright, I'll be fine, don't worry bout this heart of mine."-Me. He walked away. As he did I wiped away the silent tears I had rolling down my face.
"Dani, he's not worth it."-Meghan. I smiled at her.
"Meghan, can uh, I talk to you?"-Nick said walking into the room.
"Yeah sure."-Meghan said. They walked into the back of the bus. I went to listen. I'm nosy.
"Hey I wanted to tell you, all people ever see of our relationship is us holding hands and stuff. Well tonight at the concert, I was wondering if you would let me have the honors of singing a song to you onstage?"-Nick. Meghan smiled.
"Ok."-Meghan. I loved Meghan as a sister and if Nick ever hurts her, he's dead. When the concert came, Meghan came out onstage for their fifth song.
"When you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me, everything's alright when you're right here by my side. When you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of heaven. I find my paradise, when you look me in the eyes."-Nick. When Meghan came back behind stage she couldn't stop smiling. After that song, they decided to play 'Inseparable'. That is my favorite. Kevin smiled at me during the song. All I could do was smile and turn away. After the concert they had to do a meet-and-greet, after that they were exhausted. I went to go on my laptop but Joseph dragged me off the bus and into the WalMart that the bus was parked in front of.
"Dani, I need your help. What do you think Lexi would like for Christmas?"-Joseph.
"I don't know, something green."-Me.
"Oh forget that! What's going on with you and Kevin?"-Joseph.
"B-whu-oh uh nothing?"-Me.
"Oh whatever! Dani i know that you want to go out with Kevin so we all have a plan to break up him and Holli and get you and him together!"-Joseph. I stood there cluelees.
"Uh who and what and huh?"-Me.
"Meghan, Nick, Lexi, Frankie, and I have all thought up a plan. It all goes down tonight."-Joseph smiled. That night we all decided to chill in the lounge, and we laughed and had a great time. Then Joseph decided to put on music.
"Paper backs and plastic hearts, all our belongings in shopping carts, it's goodbye, but we got one more night."-Boys Like Girls. I looked at Joseph. He knew this was the first song Kevin and I danced to together. I knew part of his plan was working. Then we all danced. After, we decided to watch a movie. 'The Sweetest Thing'. Meghan's idea. She knew it was the first movie Kevin and I fell asleep to together. Then Pollilop brought us some ice cream. It was Rocky Road. She knows that's mine and Kevin's favorite. Then Nick went and did it. He got his guitar and Joseph and him began to play and sing to 'Inseparable'. My favorite song. When we all went to bed I saw Frankie get up. When I woke up in the morning I had a note under my pillow.
"Meet me in the lounge, come alone."-note. When I went in I saw Kevin. Joseph walked in.
"You both came here to listen to what I have to say. You both like each other. No doubts whatsoever. So Kevin, open your eyes and know that Dani has feelings for you. And Dani, age is just a number. You two really do like each other, and Kevin, Holli is so conceited. You two just need to stop feeding around the bush and tell each other you like each other. Just go out already! Dani will you go out Kevin? And Kevin will you go out with Dani?"-Joseph.
"Wow I, don't know what to say."-Me.
"Say yes!"-Everyone. I smiled.
"Ok"-Me.
