Chapter 1 [the beginning]

*Flashback, 6 years ago*

"And give it up for country singing sensations Billy ray Cyrus and Mark McLaughlin" a voice over said to the huge arena packed with screaming fans.

I stood backstage and cheered for my dad and Billy ray as I watched them sing their hearts out and play the guitar, after watching them sing a few songs I grew bored and sat down on a couch and opened up a Pop star magazine.

"You like Pop star magazine too?" a girls voice said, I put down my magazine and looked up and saw a girl with long brown straight hair holding up a magazine smiling

"Yeah I love looking at the celebrities like N’synce and stuff" I said

"Omg me too! Im Miley by the way Billy rays daughter" Miley said as sat down next to me

"Nice to meet you im Aylin, Marks daughter seeing as our dads are touring together I guess we’re going to be seeing a lot of each other aren’t we?" I joked

"Ha yeah isn’t it cool how our dads are big singers? I mean don’t you wish we were on stage singing?" Miley asked

"Yeah that would be so cool" I said, Billy ray and my dad came off the stage

"Hi daddy you did great out there" Miley said

"Thanks bud, Mark and I heard what you girls just said. How would you both like to come on stage and sing a song?" Billy ray asked

Miley and I looked at each other with our mouths open.

"Your serious?!" I asked

"Yup our fans would love to hear our daughters sing" Mark said

"This is so cool! But wait dad we don’t even look ready to sing or anything" I said as I looked down at my faded jeans and pink tank top my brown curly hair was up in a messy pony tail with a black headband keeping my hair from going everywhere.

"Aylin your 10 years old, you don’t need to put any make up on or get ready, now come on lets go out there before my fans go crazy" Mark said as he took my hand, Billy ray took Mileys hand and before we knew it we were on stage being blinded by bright stage lights and I swear I almost lost my hearing from the screaming fans.

"Okay everyone, tonight my daughter Aylin and Billy Rays daughter Miley will be singing a song together for you all" Mark said into his mic

The crowd cheered loudly, "Miley what song should we sing?" I whispered to her

"How about Standing still be Jewel, do you know that song?" She asked

"Yeah" I said I turned to my dad and told him our song choose he nodded in approval and he took a seat on a stool next to Billy ray and began playing the guitar to the song as Miley took a deep breath and started off the song.

"Cutting through the darkest night in my two headlights im trying to keep it clear But Im losing it here To the twilight Theres a dead end to my left Theres a burning bush to my right
You aren’t in sight You aren’t in sight"

I was a bit taken back by how good her voice was, she didn’t even look nervous while singing for the first time. I realized it was my turn to sing and I gulped and closed my eyes and let the lyrics come through my mouth

"Do you want me
Like I want you?" When I heard the crowd cheering I knew Miley and I were doing good, we both smiled at each other as we sung the chorus together

"Or am I standing still?
Beneath the darkened sky
Or am I standing still?
With the scenery flying by
Or am I standing still?
Out of the corner of my eye
Was that you that passed me by?"

When the song was finished, I turned to see my dad smiling widely. He put his guitar down and came over to me and gave me the biggest hug ever, I almost suffocated from how tight his hug was, and Billy Ray did the same to Miley

"Give a round of applause for our daughters, who mark my word will be famous in the next few years" Mark and Billy Ray said

The crowd cheered loudly, and who knew that our dads would be right about us being famous.
