Golden Memories [From Joe's View-point]

She had changed my life, and when I say she changed my life, boy do I mean it. I loved her with all I had, everything about her was angel-like. I remember the times we shared like they were yesterday. I remember the days before I met her, how I felt, everything. They may just be memories, but they are golden.

"Yo five minutes." Kevin ran into the room nearly knocking me down in the process.

"Ok Mr. Panic. It's not like we haven't performed before. No need to freak." I said tousling my hair a little.

"Sorry Joe…It's Just don't you hear all of those people. That's way more then we've ever had at a show. I can tell."

"Kevin's right," Nick walked to the back of the bus where we were gathered, "I can feel the vibrations of the yelling. It's a lot of people."

"Whatever you say guys. But it's no need to get nervous."

"You know maybe your right. Now Joe, move out of the doorway I need to go to the bathroom in 30 seconds." Kevin said

I moved slightly to the right as Kevin ran past me throwing me against my bunk.

"Love you Nick…Good luck buddy." I walked past him and patted his back.

"Here goes nothing." I thought as I opened the bus door and stepped out into the heat.

The sunlight shone brightly into my eyes temporarily blinding me. Perfect day to wear leather I thought to myself as I looked down at my shirt. Today was going to be a long day.

---------------- ----------------  ----------------- --------

"We're the kids, we're the kids, we're the kids of the future…" I ran out on stage singing, Nick followed playing his guitar. Kevin joined us from the other side of the stage. I quickly looked over at Nick who gave me a weird and confused look. I acknowledged it and continued to sing. It looked as if it was raining. But I was just outside, it couldn’t have been raining. Looking down, I noticed the security was spraying the never ending crowd with fire hoses. I walked over to the microphone by the drums and quickly whispered “Am I missing something.”

Kevin shook his head subtly in questioning.  I resumed the concert, completely ignoring all of the mysteries of the day. That was when I saw…

Re: Golden Memories [From Joe's View-point]
this is interesting
i've never read a story from jb's point of view

Demi Lovato is the only star I know that can be as pretty and as talented as she is AND kiss Joe Jonas and have me still not hate her. I know, I'm shocked too.

Re: Golden Memories [From Joe's View-point]
That was when I saw her. Those beautiful eyes looked up at me as she sang along with the words coming from my mouth. I couldn't look away…her eyes were absolutely radiant. Should I wink I thought. If I did would she suddenly say Nick or Kevin was her favorite and I'd be rejected. I tried to look away once more to finish the song but I just couldn't.

"If I couldn't see…"I paused. What words did I need to sing. I couldn't remember. I sang from the heart hoping the crowd would agree with whatever left the agape contraption called my mouth.
"Those beautiful….eyes." I looked up at every fan screaming, all except her. She was just smiling and looking up at me with that perfect expression on her face. I jumped off the cliff and winked. She winked back at me. Apparently I did something right. I was still blank on the words though.

"Nick did you see that girl in the front row?" I said jumping over the table and onto the couch.
"Oh yeah Joe the one with the…no I have no idea who you are talking about. There were 20 girls on the front row." Nick sat down beside me.
"Ok the one directly in front of me during Hello…you know the one with the smile. The one that didn't scream when all of the others were. The one that just sang along with a smile on her face." I went on and on reliving the memories as I spoke them.
"Oh yeah…her." I don't think he really knew who I was talking about but at least he didn't show any signs.
"Well," I stood and stretched, "I'm off to bed. Nighty-night Nick." I gave him a high five as I walked back towards the bunks.
Kevin stop snoring. I thought as I lay down.
I needed to see her again. What if I never go to. Would my life be nothing. I've never felt this way before. Was this love at first sight?

Re: Golden Memories [From Joe's View-point]
Maybe three or four hours later I was still awake. I couldn't sleep and it was starting to make me go insane. What the hell was her name? "UGH!" I said rolling over for the third or fourth time in five minutes.
At that I heard stirring from the bunk above me. Kevin was getting up. He'd find me laying here and then pull the concerned big brother card. And that was the last thing I needed.
I peeked out to see legs swinging over the side and landing on the floor. He turned right and towards the bathroom. Probably going to shower. At least I was in the clear for now and my sleepless night.
I turned to face the wall trying to sleep. Nothing was working. I had about 20 minutes left before I needed to get up. I couldn't fall asleep at the interview tomorrow…today. I got up, giving up on all hope to sleep for twenty minutes.
The sun hadn't yet risen so the bus was still dark as it rumbled down the highway.
"Ugh…time for breakfast." I whispered to myself. I pulled out the cereal and a bowl and filled it to the rim. Then I added the milk. The first bite was in my mouth when my phone went off beside me. I picked it up to find a new text message. Who was texting me this early. That was when I saw it. Her name. The name I had been avoiding until yesterday.
            Sarah.
The name just killed me, pierced my heart and killed me. Oh how I didn't want her bull*CENSORED* to start the morning. I opened the message and couldn't help but read it out loud.
"Joey babe sup? Yo I was thinking you are doing the Ryan Seacrest thing today and I was thinking of stopping by to see you. Love Sarah."
"Oh so she loves you know huh?" I looked up to find Nick walking over to me.
"Yeah. You know she proved that."
"Yeah I mean why does she think we wrote move on? Because Kevin and Erica are having problems? Ha Never in a million years." Nick said sitting down across from me and picking up the box of Corn pops. He shoved some in his mouth while he was laughing.
"Yeah doesn't she get it. She hurt me and I don't want any part of it. I HATE her now."
"Totally man. I agree." He stuffed more cereal in his mouth.
"So how'd you sleep?" he continued.
"Eh…not at all." I said it as if it was an ordinary occurrence, it wasn't.
"Whoa. Joe…you didn't sleep at all? Does it have to do with Sarah?"
"Oh no little bro you are way off. It was that girl from yesterday. Oh what I'd give to see her again."
"Joe…you need some help. You don't even know her name!"
"And that was what was keeping me up. Now Nick please don't tell Kevin he would just lecture."
"Alright. Just don't fall asleep today."
"Will do." The water in the bathroom turned off and I heard Kevin walking back to the back of the bus.
--- --- - - ---- ---

"Alright so we're here." Kevin said from the front seat.
"Ooooo…look at all the screaming fans." I said very amused by the crowed of children who skipped school to see us.
We went into the studio fighting the crowd. I looked around and smiled at the fans screaming things such as 'I love you Joe.' Or 'marry me!'. They all amused me and made me giggle on the inside. I glanced ahead at the barricade of fans towards the door. They were amazing. Amazingly dedicated. Wow they gave me that feeling of joy, the one my life thrives on.

About mid-way through the interview I was getting drowsy. Luckily Kevin and Nick were taking care of most of the questions only requiring me to answer the bare minimum. I needed some caffeine. Too bad I hated coffee. I decided to look out at the fans, they always gave me that energy boost. I turned around and saw a huge amount of fans screaming and banging on the window. Then I saw one particular girl. Standing there quietly. She was…the girl…THE girl. Astonished, I winked again. She winked back but in the mean time a teen frenzy was occurring. Every girl thought the wink was for them. She knew. She knew.

Re: Golden Memories [From Joe's View-point]
"We'll be right back with the Jonas Brothers." Ryan said into the microphone.
"Hey guys. You see the girl in the front, the quiet one?" I whispered to Kevin and Nick as Ryan stood and got more coffee.
"Yeah." They spoke in unison.
"She's THE girl. From yesterday." I emphasized the and they caught on quickly.
"Oh dude. You gotta talk to her." Nick piped in.
"I know…we need to get out there. We need to do a acoustic set or something. Just a few songs. She'd be front row if things worked out. Then we could get Ryan to bring her in or something." I used every bit of hope I had to convey the last sentence.
"Sounds like a plan." Ryan said from over my shoulder.
"Oh hey. Sorry didn't know you where right there."
"It's cool. Sounds good to me."
"Ryan…thank you so much. Its just a girl who was at the Texas concert last night and it was like whoa and…"
"I get it. You don't have to explain. I'll just get you guys out there and have security pull her aside real quickly.”
“Thank you so much Ryan.”
“No problem. And we’re back live with the Jonas Brothers.” He said pushing the on air button.
“So guys, would you give us a little performance?”
“Well we were thinking we could go outside and perform for all of those wonderful fans out there.” I said smiling into the microphone.
“That…wow what a surprise guys. I guess we could arrange that.”
We heard a large amount of screaming from outside the building and through the sound proof windows. Smiling, I turned around to see the girl smiling that beautiful smile of hers. My plan was unfolding perfectly. This would be amazing. Today was my day. Not Sarah’s, not anyone else’s. Mine.
We made our way outside and finally managed to get it quiet enough to sing. I tried to look around but found my gaze always traveling back to her.  I prayed that she couldn’t tell how much I liked her. I hoped she knew she was special but not too desperate.
