okay so sorry if this isnt a good chapter. I had a mini case of writers block...
Chapter 3
“Wow, that concert was great!” I said as the boys came offstage.
“Why thank you,” Joe said. “I’m going to go and get something from the catering table” he said.
“Right behind you,” Nick said and went out the room, leaving me and Kevin in their dressing room alone.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Kevin asked.
“For the millionth time, I’m fine!” I said with a smile.
“Sorry, its just that,” Kevin said.
“That what?” I asked him.
Kevin wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I was helpless against his soft lips and sweet cologne.
We pulled apart and stood there in silence.
That was until I noticed what just happened.
“Haley, its just that, when you got hurt today I realized how I never want to loose you,” Kevin said.
Okay this is totally against the rules of being a spy! I mean the whole mission could be compromised because of this! And I know its wrong, but when I looked into his eyes, it just felt so… so right.
“Uh Kevin,” I said, but was at a loss for words. “I can’t”
“Wait, what?” Kevin said with a confused look on his face.
“I just can’t. We can’t” I said.
“Why not?” Kevin said, looking even more lost.
“I just don’t want to complicate things,” I said.
“Oh,” was all he said. But by the look in his eyes there was much more he had to say.
