NEXT CHAPPIE!
I would like to dedicate this chapter to Drew Shirley, for being awesome and being...erm...Uncle Drew in my story. :)
CHAPTER 2
~*~*~*~Morgan’s POV~*~*~*~
I went into my house and slammed the door. Somehow I had managed to turn down all the date offers and not be persuaded.
“Hey honey. How was school?” Mom asked smiling.
I shrugged and plopped on the couch.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure there’s people in your school who truly like you for who you are.” She said comforting me.
I sighed. “There’s Becka.”
I grabbed my backpack and headed upstairs to take a shower.
When I got out of the shower, I went into my room and turned on my blow dryer and my CD player.
I sang along loudly as was my custom,
This ain’t my American Dream
I wanna live and die for bigger things
Tired of fighting for just me
This ain’t my American Dream
I began to head bang to the guitar solo when I suddenly heard a knock on my door.
I turned off my CD player and my blow dryer and ran to the door.
“That was some singing you just did.” The voice on the other side of the door said jokingly.
I chuckled. “Ha ha very funny.”
I opened the door and gasped.
“UNCLE DREW!!!” I squealed hugging him tightly.
He laughed at my excitement.
“So, are you guys in town for a concert or something?” I asked.
He nodded.
I went out of my room and looked over the rail of the upstairs hall and saw my dad and my mom in the living room laughing.
“Why didn’t you tell me Uncle Drew was stopping by?” I asked still surprised.
“We wanted to make it a surprise.” Dad said smiling.
“We could hear your reaction from down here.” Mom said jokingly.
“Oh be quiet!” I said jokingly as I ran down the stairs.
I hugged my mom and dad happily.
“So what have you been up to, just being awesome and stuff like that?” I asked jokingly.
“Oh yeah, stuff like that…” He said following along jokingly.
I chuckled. One of the reason Uncle Drew was so much fun to be around is that he goofed off almost as much as I did.
“Here’s some tickets for the show tomorrow.” He said handing me some tickets.
“I could buy them myself you know.” I said.
He shrugged. “And have my niece pay just to see me? No way!”
I laughed and hugged him. Too bad none of the guys in my school were as awesome as Uncle Drew.
