although i loved the last name, it didnt do with the fic at ALL since i decided to change the story line.

Chapter 2
[Seeing You Again]
“Well I know two other guys that would kill me if I keep you all to myself,” Kevin said.
I smiled and followed him into the cabin. It was filled with the smell of sugar cookies, which was the doing of a scented candle. He led me into the living room where I saw the back of a curly head of hair sitting on the couch.
“Nick,” Kevin called to his brother.
Nick turned around and gave his brother a small wave, acknowledging our presence, then turned back to the TV.
“Dude, when is Haley going to get here,” Nick asked, with his back to us.
“Uh, Nick,” Kevin said making Nick turn around again, but this time his eyes didn’t pass over me. Like Kevin, Nick stared at me for a couple of seconds then his mouth dropped open.
“Hey Nick, long time no see,” I said.
Nick practically jumped right over the couch and pulled me into a hug.

After a couple seconds I said, “Wow, a little too much love,” and pulled away from his hold.
“Sorry, it’s just that it’s been so long,” he said.
“I know,”
The three of us resumed the silence that me and Kevin we in before.
“So uh let’s go get your bags,” Kevin said.
We walked out to the car and got my two duffle bags out of the backseat. Nick and Kevin each took one, then it finally hit me: I forgot about the other Jonas.
“Kev, where’s Joe?” I asked.
In a simple response Kevin pointed down to the lake. Sure enough there was a dark silhouette down by the water’s side. I gave a dismissing smile to Nick and Kevin and then started to walk down to the lake.
“Hey” I said to Joes back.
He turned around. Unlike his brothers Joe recognized me immediately.
“Hey,” he said quietly. There was a sense of peace in his voice, probably from the beautiful lake backdrop and flawless sunset. But we didn’t hug. Instead Joe took my hand and led me out onto the small wooded dock. I slipped off my shoes and sat down on the dock, dipping the tips of my toes in the water. Joe soon followed suit.
“This is beautiful,” I said, commenting on the sunset.
“So are you,” Joe said.
I laughed it off, not taking him seriously. After all we were friends, and nothing more. “I missed you Joe,” I said.
“You too, Haley,” Joe said putting his arm around me, but more as a friendly gesture, and making up for our lack of hugging.
Nick and Joe stood on the cabin’s back porch watching us.
“Joe’s not wasting anytime,” Kevin said.
“What are you talking about? He would never try to get with Haley,” Nick said.
“What are you talking about? Did you not see her?” Kevin said.
“Yea, but...” Nick said, trying to find a reason Joe wouldn’t try go for me.
“But what?” Kevin asked. “After all, they are best friends,”
“But she’s my age” Nick said.
Kevin sighed. “Well I guess we’ll just have to wait and see,”
