001;
I always had the ability to seek out the most intriguing and tough challenges but this one was something even I considered way out of my league. But those friends of mine insisted that if I didn't take that once chance I was given everything would be gone and I would regret making the wrong decision. I never planned on taking the risk but as the line grew smaller and I grew closer, I knew my friends were right. If I didn't do anything then, I knew I would never get a second shot. My mind raced as I finally faced the impossible challenge and he was gorgeous. His brown eyes sparkled as he looked at my very own chocolate orbs, I felt the corners of my lips pull up involuntarily.
"Hey," I squeaked in a voice I couldn't recognize as my own.
"Hey, what's up?" He eagerly replied, his brown hair was slightly wavy and under a dark blue fedora, in my eyes he looked like a god. I stared at him not knowing what moves to make, feeling myself choke as I tried to speak to him again.
"Manda, you're supposed to hand him the C.D. to sign," my right-hand woman, Gabby, interrupted giving my back a small shove forward. I looked down at the Jonas Bonus Edition in my hands feeling the stupidity finally dawn on me.
"S-sorry," I uttered, once again not being able to find my breath. My hand modestly brushed his in the exchange sending shivers down my spine.
"It's alright," he stated shortly swiftly running the black sharpie over his position in the picture.
"Thank you," I silently muttered taking the album back into my sweaty hands. I forced myself to meet his eyes again, they smiled at me. I couldn't figure out how people made their eyes smile and I never really knew of people that could until that very moment. His eyes brightly smiled at me as if he was proud of something great he achieved. I felt another pair of hands on my back, pushing me out of the way. That was it, I didn't take my chance, it was over.
"Did you?!" An eager voice asked appearing next to me. I blinked at the familiar person next to me as I shook my head in shame.
"No," my words still came out short.
"Why not?"
"He's Joseph Adam Jonas, Becka," I reasoned, explaining to my sister why exactly I didn't have enough guts to do what was planned.
"And you're Amanda Lee Lawrence," she retorted just as Gabby walked up to us clutching her very own C.D., giddily. I frowned looking down at my own expecting the unbelievablely boring lines celebrities called their signatures but instead something else caught my eye, it was Joe's autograph. His name was signed in big loopy letters but under it was something that made my heart lift and my soul soar.
"Until next time, Manda," it read.
