"Brie were at your aunt's house."Lara said

Lara is a social worker she is taking me to my aunt's because my mother is in jail and my dad is dead.My mom got put in jail for child abuse.

"Ok."I said

Lara and i walked up to the door.We knocked on it once and then it was swung open.

"Oh my goodness child your still alive."My aunt said as she wrapped me in a hug as she began to cry.I just continued to hug my aunt i didn't want to cry i needed to be strong.

Lara handed my aunt my stuff.And my aunt took it up to the room that would be mine.My room was big it was alot bigger then my old room.But my old room shouldn't even be called a room.More like the closet.My aunt's house was alot bigger then my old house.

I had lived in a small house in Colorado.And now i lived in a large house in California.everything was changing for me.And i was scared because it all seemed to good to be true.

I sat down on my bed in my new room.My aunt came into my room holding boxes and boxes all wrapped up.

"Ok so i decided to get you some presents."My aunt said

I was alittle suprised last present i had was when i was eight and it was a doll.I still have that doll to.

I sat down on the floor as my aunt layed the presents down beside me.I opened the small box first.It was a jewlery box.I looked up at my aunt.

"Thanks but i don't have any jewlery."I said

"Thats ok honey."My aunt said

I then put the jewlery box back in the box and set it up on my bed.I then opened the next one.It was a cell phone.I smiled up at my aunt i had never had a cell phone.I put it up on my bed.I continued to pen present after present.By the time i was all done i had a laptop clothes shows,jelery,and an ipod.I was so grateful that my aunt was being so genorus.

My aunt left my room and i started putting away all my new clothes.I was getting board and i needed to exsplore.I walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"I'm going for a walk."I said

"Ok do you have your cellphone?"My aunt asked

"Ya."I said

Then i walked out the door.I was wandering up and down all the streets then i made it back around to mine.When i saw three boys playing basketball in front of a house.One glanced my way and i smiled.

"Hey!"He said

"Hi."I said

Then he came walking over.

"Hey i'm Nick."He said

"Brie."I said

"well nice to meet you are you new here?"Nick asked

"Ya i am i just moved in with my aunt."I said

"Oh i see."Nick said

"Ya but you look really familar."I said

"Oh ya i'm in a band the Jonas Brothers."Nick said

"Yep that's why i've heard of you guys."I said

"Oh you have do you know any of are music?"Nick asked

"Well kinda not really but i do know some."I said

"Well thats cool.But i better get back to are game."Nick said

"Ya and i better get back to my house before my aunt worries."I said

"Alright well hope to see you around."Nick said

Then he walked away.I walked back inside the house and up to my room.My first day here and i already met someone i liked.I think i might actually like it here.

I was sitting in my room messing around with all of my stuff when my door was swung open.

"I thought my mom was kidding when she said you were coming."MY cosin Brittney said

"Nope she was serious."I said

Then i jumped off my bed and ran over and gave my cosin a hug.She had been my best friend since i was alittle kid.

"Oh my gosh i'm so glad your here."Brittney said

"I know i know i'm so glad to be here."I said

"I am so sorry about what happened."Brittney said

"Ya its ok."I said

"Ok well its time to eat dinner and then maybe you can come with me over to my friends for movie night."Brittney said

"Oh whats movie night?"I asked

Brittney and i walked out of my room and started walkign downstairs while Brittney told me about movie night.

"Ok well all of my friends and i et together at someones house and we watch movies and pig out on food and play games it goes so late some nights.But its every saturday."Brittney said

"Cool i would love to go."I said

"Cool then you are coming."

We got downstairs and we ate dinner then Brittney and i went upstairs.

"Ok can i just go in what i'm wearing?"I asked Brittney

"I think you shoudl wear some of the clothes my mom bought you becuase they are really cute."Brittney said

"Ok what?"

"I don't know how about this Hollister top and these jeans and these flip flops."Brittney said

I grabbed the clothes from her hands and got changed.

Then we walked across the street.I was alittle nervous about this they were my cosins friends.And Brittney is a year older then me.

Brittney knocked on the door and alittle kid who couldn't have been older then eight opened the door.

"Hey Frankie they all downstairs?"Brittney asked

"Ya."Frankie said

"Oh and Frankie this is my cousin Brie."Brittney said

"Hi Brie i'm Frankie."Frankie said

"Hi Frankie."I said

Then Brittney took my hand and we walked downstairs.There was six people downstairs.

"Hey everyone i brought someone along."Brittney said

Then everyone turned to look at Brittney and i.

"Ok everyone this is my cousin Brie.Ok and there is Joe,Kevin,Nick,Jessica,Rachel,and Brice."Brittney said

She had pointed to every single one of them and now i knew everyone.

"Ok so what we doing first?"Brittney asked

"Oh well we are going to play guitar hero."Joe said

"Sweet i'm first."Brittney said then she left my side.

I looked around and i felt really out of place everyone there was friends with everyone.Then Nick came over nxt to me.

"hey when i met you earlier i didn't knwo you were Brittneys cousin."Nick said

"Yep i am."I said

"Thats cool."Nick said

"Ya she is really a good cousin i haven't seen her in along time so its nice."I said

"Ya thats cool.But why don't you come sit over by me and get to know everyone a little better."Nick said

Then i followed him over to the couch.

I think i might actual like Nick.He is so cute.
