Chapter 2
Beeeeeeeep
"CLEAR"
I stood there and watched as i was haunted by those two sounds, and watched as my father passed on. I turned around and walked slowly down the hall crying, looking at the ground, not knowing where i was going. Before i knew it i reached a flight of stairs but since i didn't look up i fell down the stairs, hard. When i reached the bottom i got up and kept walking but with my hand clenching the side of my stomach. as i was walking i ran into somebody, and i fell as he turned around.
"I'm so sorry" I said struggling to get up. "Joe?"
"Brittany!!!" He came over to me and pulled me up and hugged me. "Are you ok, you're bleeding!" I hadn't really noticed, all as i was thinking about was my father. I nodded at him as he took me to the E.R. to get cleaned up. I got a few stitches and i got up and started walking with Joe.
"Where's Nick and Kevin?" I asked Joe
"Right there" he said pointing to them by a vending machine.
"Oh"
"Brittany!!" Kevin ran up to me and hugged me tightly.
"Hi Kevin!! please don't hug me so hard" I said trying to smile but cringing instead.
"Sorry" he said "What happened?"
"Nick!" I said as he came up to me and hugged me too but this time he hugged me lightly. "My-my father..." i tried to answer Kevin's question but ended up crying instead.
"I'm so sorry" they all said and Kevin tried to comfort me by hugging me. I put my head on his sholders as i continued to cry.
sorry if that wasn't long enough. I'm sorry but i have to go, i'm at my grandparents house and i'm leaving soon. I'll either be back really late tonight or tomarrow morning. Thank you for the comments
