Prolog

“Their one of the biggest bands out there, they have had two sold out tours, and now they are about to put a third one under their belt, this spring with the Jonas Brothers, please give a warm welcome for Labels Are For Soup Cans.” The radio interviewer said into his mic

“Hey everyone.” We all waved to the people watching in the studio

“Well, I’m sure everyone knows who you are, but let’s have an introduction anyways.” He said

“Ok well I’m Tara and I sing, play guitar, and the piano.” I said into the mic

“I’m Bryce and I also sing and play guitar.”

“I’m Kaylyn and I rock out on the drums.”

“And I’m Nate and I play the bass.”

“So Nate I’m sure you get this a lot, but I can’t help but fall in love with your accent.” The lady radio DJ said

“Thanks miss, that’s one benefit from being from Australia.”

“So are y’all excited to be going on tour with the Jonas Brothers?” He asked

“Yeah, we’ve never met them so we’re pretty excited.” I said

“We watched some of their videos on Youtube and they seem like pretty cool guys.” Bryce said

“So which one is your favorite?” She asked to the girls

“Is this a rhetorical question?” Nate said stupidly

“She’s talking to girls Einstein.” Bryce said sarcastically

“Joe’s pretty cute.” Kaylyn said

“I like Kevin.” I said while blushing

WHAT’S UP?!? Well I’ll start off more formal, Hiya! I’m Tara Renee Williams, 17 years old, little past my should dirty blonde straight hair, 5’7, tan, and deep brown eyes. I would happen to be in a very famous band Labels Are For Soup Cans. We’re not like a Disney band or anything, we’re a normal band. Our first tour we toured with Justin Timberlake and Pink, back in 2006, this summer we toured with the Plain White T’s, and now we’re going to tour with the Jonas brothers from February till June. Oh, I’ll also give you a little band bio, because I’m nice like that. Kaylyn Jamie Brown, my best friend since kindergarten, she has solid, not bleached, blonde hair with pink tips, she’s about 5’6, brown eyes, 17 years old and also tan. Bryce John Michaels, we have know each other our whole lives because of our moms, he is 6’2 with jet black hair, not an emo cut but its long, 18 years old, and he is pale with bright blue eyes. And last but not least Aaydn Nate Irwin, moved to America in the 8^th grade, goes by Nate, long lost cousin of Steve Irwin, 6’4 they grow them big in Australia, also 18, bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes, he’s an eye-catcher. Oh yeah can’t forget the amazing body from the years of soccer and the amazing tan from surfing.

hey guys, i have to discontiune(sp?) all my other stories because my old computer crashed. so i dont have them anymore. i'm super sorry! but i promise this story will be good!! so please read and comment and tell your friends!

Chapter 1

“So Kaylyn your mom was okay with you dying the tips of your hair pink?” The radio lady asked

“Well, see I was planning on getting them done, but my friend Hayden took me to the salon and it just happened.” She said while laughing

“That’s what they said in Gossip Girl.” I said while laughing

“Ew I didn’t have sex with Nate.” She said

“Excuse me I’m right here, and I know for a fact that we didn’t engage in that.” He said, he was also careful with his words

“Kids these days, all they do is joke around, but when we come back Labels Are For Soup Cans will perform a new song.” The radio man said into the mic

They like to say that to make a band, you only have to have the music. Which is mostly true, but you also have a relationship. You can’t have a band of people that hate each other, or ones that don’t work well with each other. Same as in show business, everyone has got to fit together like a puzzle. And I think my band had the perfect relationship. We‘re not like one big family, we are one big family. Sure we have our fights, but who doesn’t; we’re always there for each other, because without one of us we’re not a band anymore.

So anyway we finished the radio interview, and drove back to our loft in Los Angeles. We’re all originally from New Orleans, but we have a loft in California and New York, for work purposes or party purposes. Either way there is still a purpose. Yeah I guess you could say we’re partiers, sure we drink we’re not saints or anything, but we just drink at the lofts not in public, that way we can’t make fools of ourselves.

“What do y’all want to do?” I asked as I plopped on the sofa and turned on Spongebob, we’re still kids at heart. :]

"Let's go firework shopping!" Kaylyn suggested

“LET’S DO IT!” Bryce screamed

“Let’s not.” Nate said sarcastically

“Nate you’re way to corrupt.” He said chucking an orange at Nate from the kitchen. You know I’ll never understand why boys think its ok to throw oranges around the house.

“Let’s just go!” Kaylyn said as she grabbed her coat and walked out the door

“Well you have to get the bottle rockets.”

“Well we have to get something huge to blow up at midnight.”

“Whoa…”

“Wow…”

“What is it?”

“The Bomber 3000! It says shoot off at midnight for one big light that will light up the whole sky, then watch as a million little ones shoot up with different colors and patterns.” Nate read the description

“That…is…AMAZING!” I screamed as everyone turned and stared at us

“Let’s buy it, this will be awesome to shoot off the roof.” Kaylyn said

Happy New Year!

“Light it now!”

Well the bomber was kind of a bust, but hey it was still pretty cool. I love the new year, it’s the perfect time to start over. Sure I make new year’s resolution, but I’m not the kind to keep them. No of us are, that’s why we make simple ones, better chances of keeping them.

Chapter 2

“One day guys, one day.” Nate said as we we’re all rushing to pack

One day to what you may ask? TILL TOUR STARTS! And we finally meet the Jonas Brothers. Their like a huge deal, if you didn’t know. And they just finished this huge sold out tour with Hannah Montana. Sure ours is also sold out, but now I’m pretty sure it’s for the Jonas Brothers, well of course it is we are the opening act. But I’m still super excited for this tour!

Jan. 30th 2008

“Alright make sure you put everything on the compartments on the left side of the bus” Our manager Adam said

“You said the right side.” I told him

“I meant left, so move everything.” He said as he answered his phone

“You have got to be kidding me.” I heard Kaylyn mumble along with some other not nice words

20 minutes later we finally finished moving everything

“Alright kids get on the bus; it’s time to go to the House of Blues.” Adam said as he finally got off the phone

“There is like 7 hours till the concert.” Nate said as he was texting his girl friend

“I know, but there are people already lining up for it,” He said as he pushed us on the bus “And besides y’all have to warm up it’s been awhile since you performed.” He said

So we arrived to the HOB 10 minutes later to see at least, 30 people already! Like seriously, don’t you have something better to do then wait 7 hours before a concert starts? Apparently not. We walked into the HOB, went up the stairs and went to the band “chill” room.

“Can we go talk to them?” I asked

“Why would you wanna do that?” Nate asked

“Well because I wanna ask them why they got their so early.” I said

“Alright.”

Outside the HOB

“Hey everyone!” We all said to all the girls waiting

“Oh my gosh you’re that band.” One girl shouted

“Their called Labels Are For Soup Cans!” Another girl shouted

“Whoa it’s okay no need to get panties in a bunch.” Nate said

Everyone, and I literally mean everyone, starred at him and gave him the who says that anymore? Look. It was actually really funny.

“Yeah ignore what he says, just listen to his accent.” Kaylyn said

I mean you can’t not love the Australian Accent

“So why are all of y’all out here so early?” I asked

And all at once, like I said a cue line or something they screamed

“WE LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS!”

“That’s all the count’s is the love.” Bryce said as we all slowly backed up and went back to the chill room

“Ok well the Jonas Brothers are running a tad bit late, so you won’t get to meet them till after the show ok?” Adam said

“Okay.”

“Go get ready.” He told us and walked out

So me and Kaylyn went to our dressing room. I decided to wear this/ this also how my hair looked:

I decided to look semi-nice for our first show, I usually just wear a band t-shirt and some skinnies.

“ WELCOME TO THE SHOW!” Bryce screamed into the mic as the rest of us ran onto the stage

“Sweet Jesus, there are a lot of y’all out here.” I said

They all began scream

“Y’all ready to rock?” Kaylyn screamed into her mic

Screams again

“Let’s Rock!”

“Our first song tonight is Because I’m Awesome.”

I’m a leader, I’m a winner, And I’m cleaner
Cause I’m awesome
I don’t need you cause I’m neato and I beat you
Cause I’m awesome
That’s right

“Good show guys!” Adam said as we got off the stage

“Y’all that was sweet, I think we got the crowd revved up.” I said as I high fived everyone

“So are y’all ready to watch the…

“WE’RE THE KIDS, WE’RE THE KIDS, WE’RE THE KIDS OF THE FUTURE!”

“What the he.ll was that?” I asked looking around for someone who would be screaming that

As soon as I figured out who it was, the crowd went nuts. LIKE CRAZY! I seriously thought they were going to over throw the barricades. But I must say the Jonas Brothers put on a great and intense show. I really wanted to jump off the show and crowd surf, but I contained self control.

Our band was just chilling in the bus, playing Rockband.

“Kaylyn, you play the freaking drums stop missing the notes!” I said while I wasn’t singing

“AND SHE’S RUN…RUN…RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN…” I screamed into the mic so loud we didn’t hear anyone come in the bus

“I hate that song.” I said while out of breath

“Really I liked that song.” Someone said, all our heads whipped to the direction of the door

“He…hey there.” I stuttered

“So you guys are Labels Are For Soup Cans?” Joe asked us

“Yeah and y’all are the Jonas Brothers.” Kaylyn said

“You would be correct.” He said

Oh I see secret lovers!
