Ok, so this is my new Joe fanfic. I already had one, called "We're One Mistake From Being Together", but I decided to start a new one.
Brie-
“You ready?” She asked.
I had dreamed of this day for almost a year now. I was going with my best friend, Tiffany, to meet the Jonas Brothers. She drove over and picked me up at seven.
“Am I ready? I’ve only been waiting for this for a bazillion years! YEAH I’M READY!” I replied, too enthusiastically for seven A.M.
“Turn the main down a tad, okay, Skid Row?” She said, quoting one of our favorite Dane Cook comedy skits. “It’s seven in the morning.”
“Sorry, but I’m excited!” I said cheerfully. She flinched as we pulled out of the driveway.
I turned on the Jonas Brothers CD and went to one of my favorites.
You know when the sun forgets to shine
I’ll be there to hold you through the night
We’ll be running so fast we can fly
Tonight
And even when we’re miles and miles apart
You’re still holdin’ all of my heart
I promise it will never be dark
‘Cause you know, we’re inseparable
I turned the volume down and said, “I had a dream last night.”
“So did I.”
“A Jonas dream.”
“Ooh! Tell!”
“Well, I was at the doctor’s office and Joe was in the waiting room. He sat next to me, and I didn’t freak out, I just kept sitting there. Then, I don’t know how it happened, he got a piece of paper and wrote his phone number on it. For me!”
“You have a lot of Joe dreams.”
I felt heat burning my cheeks. “I know.”
“Oh, it is love….”
I rolled my eyes. “If only, if only….”
“You never know. I could see you with Joe.”
I gave her a look. “You’re just saying that so you can have Kevin.”
She blushed. “No, seriously. He seems like your type.”
“Oh, he definitely is. But am I his?” I asked, digging through my purse for my favorite pink lip gloss.
“I think so. You’re outgoing, funny, and super cute.”
“Really?” I said excitedly.
She laughed. “Don’t have a spasm. But yes, really.”
“That means a lot,” I said, checking my hair.
She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, and you and Joe are both insecure about your looks, even though you’re both smoking hot.” I laughed, and she said, “You know, from a friend’s perspective…ah never mind.”
(By the way, I really did have that Joe dream) :)
I turned the volume down and said, “I had a dream last night.”
