So Elise and I, we're cousins made a fanfic about the Jonas Brothers. I hope you like it. :]

Chapter 1

     You know how people have their childhood neighbors which your parents would call your puppy love? I had that. Not just with anyone though. My childhood friend, Joe Jonas aka  the lead singer of the band Jonas Brothers. I was actually pretty tight with their family. But it was Joe who had my heart.

    I’m Lexi, and I’m 17 years old. I’ll be 18 in just a few months. You see, the Jonas family used to live in New Jersey (as you all would know.) I was not exactly neighbors with them. More of like a few houses down. But Joe and I met through our parents and we were tight ever since. But soon, my parents decided to move to Seattle when I was about 6 years old. And I had no choice but to leave everything behind. After awhile I tried to contact him back in New Jersey. But I was told that they left for L.A. because the boys got signed for a contract. So I knew it was just not meant to be. Don’t get me wrong, Joe never left my mind. And I had this obsession with them. And I dreamt that one day, I’d get to watch one of their shows and Joe would remember me. Plain old Lexi.

    A few days later.

    “Mom, why do we have to move?” I asked whining. I just found out that we were moving to Los Angeles.

    “Because, honey your father has gotten a job there. And L.A. is a nice place. End of discussion.” Mom said.

    “Fine!” I said as I went up to my room. When I lay down my bed I called my best friend, Gabriella.

    “Hola. My darling.” Gabby said as she answered the phone, she’s half Spanish.

    “Hey, Gabby. Well it’s true. I really am moving.” I said sadly.

    “Lexi, it’s going to be bien. Don’t worry my dear. And it’s L.A. where the stars are! And not to mention the JONAS BROTHERS!” Gabby said.

    She knows about my childhood past with Joe, and she too is obsessed with them.

    “Haha. Oh right. I forgot that. But still we’d be far from each other.” I said.

    “That’s why we have technology Lexi. And it’s not that far away.. right? Ooh! I’m so happy for you!!” Gabby said all excited.

    “Haha, thanks Gabby. I’ll IM you later. I’ll miss you, you know that?” I said.

    “Of course I do, I’m a very missed person.” Gabby said.

    “Haha, whatever. Well I got to start packing. Call you.” I said.

    “Alright.” She said as she hung up the phone.

    I stood up from my bed and started rummaging through my closet. And I found this box. That was covered with glitters. I sat down on the floor and opened the box. I started to smile when I saw what was in it.

    Then I remembered it was my Joe-Lexi box. It was where we kept these things that we treasured the most. And we had tons of pictures together. But the one thing that really made me smile was the rock that I saw. It was not an ordinary rock though. It was shaped like a heart.

    11 years ago. When I was about to leave New Jersey.

    Joe: Here, Lexi. (As he handed the rock)
    Lexi: What’s it for?
    Joe: It’s my heart, I want you to always keep it.
    Lexi: I’ll never forget you Joe.
    Joe: Promise?
    Lexi:  A million red M&M’s promise.

    When I remembered what happened 11 years ago, a tear started to run down my face. I closed the box and it was the first thing that I placed into my suitcase.

    Weeks after, we were all packed. Gabby threw me a small goodbye party with my other friends there. I was never going to forget Seattle. But I was kind of excited to be in L.A. Maybe, there was hope. Just maybe.

Chapter 2

    So days after, we flew to L.A. and went to look at our new house. It was pretty much okay. We started unpacking and settled into our house. I was a bit tired from fixing our things so I went out and went to a Starbucks by Beverly Hills.

    As I went in, the place was crowded. I guess it was normal for the people to see celebrities roaming around the place since I saw quite a few faces. Ashley Tisdale was by the side hanging out with Brenda Song. And I could see Mary Kate Olsen rushing to get coffee. I was star struck obviously. I was in line when I saw these three dark haired guys waiting for their coffee. Then it hit me. OHMYGOD. It’s the Jonas Brothers.

    I didn’t know what to do, I started to sweat a bit. But I guess I looked fine. They finally got their coffee and I knew they had to walk past me with the crowded people and all. I was still in awe at staring at them, I didn’t notice that they were already face to face with me. Joe just walked past me and I guess Kevin noticed since he smiled at me and said

    “How’s it going?”

    But only out of polite since he walked past me too. And so did Nick. I was embarrassed and a bit depressed that Joe didn’t remember me anymore.

    “Ms.? Your order?” the Starbucks barista asked me, probably the 3rd time.

    “Oh, Sorry. Uhm can I have a Chocolate Frappe to go please?” I said.

    “Alright.” She said.

    I paid and waited for my order.

    Meanwhile.

    “Dude, there was something familiar about that girl.” Joe said to Kevin as they went out of Starbucks.

    “Who?” Kevin said as he put on his sunglasses.

    “The girl that was in line, the one staring at us? Brown hair?” Joe said.

    “Oh, her. What about her?” Kevin asked.

    “I don’t know. She just looks really familiar.” Joe said.

    “Heads up you guys.” Nick interrupted looking towards the HUGE group of female fans coming towards them.

    Then..

    I got my drink and headed for the door. I could see a huge group of girls crowding some people. I ignored it and walked the opposite side towards the direction of our new house.

    I guess, he just doesn’t remember anymore. I thought to myself.

    I went home and plugged my phone, so I could call Gabby.

    “Hola.” Gabby answered.

    “Gabby!!” I said.

    “Uhm who’s this?” She said and I was stunned.

    “What?” I said.

    “I’m kidding Lexi! Haha! Hey girlie, I miss you. How is it there?” She said.

    “It’s great, but not that much fun since you’re not here.” I said.

    “I know. But we’ll see each other soon. I promise.” She said.

    “So, I saw them.” I said.

    “Who?” She asked.

    “Joe, Kevin and Nick.” I said glumly.

    “OHMYGOD!!!! Wait. Why are you sad?” She asked.   

    “He doesn’t remember me anymore. He just walked past me.” I said.

    “You never know, he might have not seen you. And it has been 11 years Lexi.” Gabby said.

    “I know. But how am I going to be able to talk to him? He’s like Joe Jonas the lead singer of their band. The famous hottie.” I said.

    “And he was also your childhood friend. Anything can happen Lexi. It’s L.A.” Gabby said.

    “Wow, you talk like you know everything.” I said.

    “Well, you know..” She said with a laugh.

    “Haha. I hope so. I really do.” I said.

This sounds so good! Please PMS. Joe needs to remember her so they can fall in love and have babies and be happyhappyhappy! Or, yknow, go on a date. I'm totally open to either situation - you choose, you're the author after all. Love, Hannah
