Chapter 5

As we watched the move I really wasn’t paying attention my mind kept wondering to the fight that Shane and I had. Soon I had a killer headache and so much tension in my neck you need a chainsaw to cut through it.
“Guys I hate to do this but I’m going to go take two aspirin and go in my room to lie down I have a killer headache.”
I said making everyone look at me including Kevin who looked concerned. Tori paused the movie and turned to me.
“You need anything?’
Tori asked.
“No I just need to lay down.”
“Okay we’ll try to keep it down.”
I got up walked into the kitchen grabbed to aspirin and a bottle of water; I took them and walked out of the kitchen. Kevin looked at me and I mouthed I’m okay to him he nodded his head and I walked back to room. Once there I changed into my pajamas then sat down on my bed. I picked up my laptop from the floor turned it on and opened iTunes, I opened the playlist that plays soothing songs sat it on my nightstand then laid down closing my eyes. I don’t know how long I lay there till I heard a knock my door, sitting up reaching over and tuning off the music I yelled,
“Come in.”
My door opened and I looked over to see Kevin walking in with my mug in his hand, he walked in shutting the door behind him.
“I made you some tea.”
Aww he made me tea someone pinch me he’s too good to be true. I took my mug from him when he handed it to me then he sat down next to me. I leaned over and kissed his cheek I can’t believe I did that his blush matched mine.
“Thanks.”
I said then took a sip of it, just the way I like it.
“How did you know this was mug and the just the way I like my tea?”
I asked looking at Kevin.
“Well I remembered you telling me last night that Cinderella is your favorite movie and Tori told me. A splash of milk and three spoons of sugar.”
Kevin said then tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear.
“Didn’t mean to ruin movie/game night.”
I looked down at my mug running my index finger around the rim.
“You didn’t ruin anything, things happen. I’m sorry you and Shane go into a fight.”
I shrugged my shoulders.
“I’m used to fights.”
“Why’s that?”
“Growing up my parents used to fight a lot and my sister and I used to fight with them too a lot. We were one big fighting family.”
I laughed I’ve learned to stay sane in life you have to laugh.
“I’m sorry.”
Kevin said reaching over placing his hand on my knee squeezing it. We sat in silence Kevin’s eyes wondering my room.
“You play guitar?”
Kevin asked spotting my Acoustic Guitar (Click here to see Acousitc Guitar) and my Electric Guitar (Click here to see Electric Guitar) sitting on they’re stands in the corner of the room.
“Yeah I started when I was fifteen.”
“May I?”
Kevin asked I nodded and Kevin got up going over and picking up my acoustic guitar then sitting down in my double-arm chaise (Click here to see double-arm chaise). He started to play ‘Hello Beautiful’ I moved so I was sitting on the edge of my bed and wrapped my hands around my mug and watched as Kevin played and sang.

Through out the song whenever Kevin wasn’t looking down at the guitar he was looking at me. God this man is sweet.
“Kevin wow that was great and so sweet. No one has ever down anything like that for me.”
I said when he was trying to hold back tears, I sat my half empty mug on my nightstand grabbing my TV remote, moved so I sat on the bed and patted the spot next to me. Kevin stood placed my guitar back on it’s stand walked over and got up in bed next to me.
“Your welcome Cammie.”
Kevin said then kissed my cheek, I love the way he says my nickname. Sometime later I feel someone shaking me and saying my name.
“Mmm go away.”
I mumbled then pressed my face into something realizing it wasn’t my pillow my eyes popped open to see someone’s chest staring me in my face. Looking up I see a sleeping Kevin, I smiled then look over to see Tori looking down at me.
“Awkward.”
I hear Joe say and looking around I spot him standing the doorway. I then realize that I was wrapped in Kevin’s arms.
“Just wanted to see if you guys were up to a game but we’re just leave.”
Tori said then walked over to Joe in the doorway, who turned around and Tori jumped on his back. I laughed but even through the laughter my mind couldn’t get off of how Kevin and me ended up asleep holding each other. Looking at my clock seeing it’s nine thirty I untangled myself from Kevin’s arms even though I didn’t want too. I gently shook Kevin trying to wake him up.
“Kevin, Kevin wake up.”
All I got was a groan and something I couldn’t understand.
“Kevin come on wakie, wakie.”
Still nothing but a groan and something I didn’t understand, smiling to myself I said,
“Oh my gosh Kevin there’s a giant spider on your head.”
Kevin jumped up swatting at his head yelling,
“Get it off, get it off.”
The frantic swatting caused him to fall off the bed causing me to laugh so hard I was on my back holding my stomach.
“What the, hey there’s no spider.”
Kevin said getting up off of the floor.
“I had to wake you some how.”
I said in between laughing.
“You think that’s funny?”
Kevin said making me look at him where I see an intense serious look on his face.
“Yeah.”
I said laughing harder, the next thing I know Kevin jumped on the bed tackling me then started to tickle me. After a few moments I couldn’t take it.
“Okay, okay I’m sorry please stop.”
He stopped and he started down at me, we couldn’t take our eyes off of each other. Something round and yellow hit the back of Kevin’s head bouncing off and hitting me on the top of my head. We snapped out of it and look over at the doorway to see Tori and Joe standing there each with foam ball shooter in hand. They looked at each other nodded they’re heads and started bomb barding us with foam balls. Kevin and me jumped up out of my bed trying to take cover.
“You two are running like the guys in the Running Of The Bulls, take it like a man. Be afraid, be very afraid.”
Joe said, I ducked by the edge of my bed and felt around under my bed for my two foam ball shooters. Finding them I pulled them out and yelled,
“Kevin.”
He looked at me and I gently threw one at him, he caught it and pointed it at Joe and Tori, me walking up to stand beside him doing the same.
“Who should be afraid now little bro?”
Kevin said.
“Okay lets think rational here people. Lets not make any sudden moves, let’s lower our weapons and back out of the room.”
Joe said.
“Sorry Joe, get them.”
I said then Kevin and I started shooting at them, they fired back running out of the room. We ran through the apartment shooting foam balls at each other till we were out of balls.
“Okay so truce.”
Tori said placing her shooter down with her hands up in the air. Kevin and I placed ours down and walked forward with our hands out stretched. When they went to shake our hands we pulled ours away and said at the same time,
“Sike.”
The look on Tori and Joe’s faces are priceless, Kevin looked at me then we both burst out in laughter with Joe and Tori soon following. When we calmed down Tori said,
“Okay so who’s up for that game?”
I saw Kevin look at the clock and he got a sad look on his face.
“We’re going to have to take a rang check on that. I told Mom and Dad we would pick Frankie up from the sitters at ten thirty and it’s already five minutes to ten.”
Man he has to go.
“I forgot Mom and Dad went out, last minute decision to go out for dinner.”
Joe said.
“Ole well there’s always next week.”
Tori said we walked Joe and Kevin to the door. Tori opened the door hugged and kissed Joe.
“I had fun tonight.”
Kevin said.
“Me too.”
We hugged and when we pulled away Kevin turned to walk away but then turned back around.
“Want to get together and do something tomorrow?”
I smiled and in my head I was dancing.
“Yeah sure.”
Kevin smiled man I love his smile.
“Great I’ll pick you up at one and dress casual.”
He kissed my cheek and left with Joe. I can’t wait to see what Kevin has planned for me tomorrow.

Here is chapter 6, sorry it's been a week and one day since I last updated but I was busy and plus this chapter came kind of slow to me. But no worries it's here and I should have chapter 7 up sometime this weekend or Monday. Again sorry it's so late. Enjoy!

Chapter 6

Five minutes to one the next afternoon I walked into the living to wait for Kevin.
“Good choice in outfit (Click here to see outfit).”
Tori said from her spot on the sofa on her laptop.
“He did say casual, which has me thinking it’s something active.”
I said taking a seat next to Tori.
“”You two go together like peanut butter and jelly.”
Leave it to Tori to compare Kevin and me to peanut butter and jelly.
“I really like him Tori.”
“And again you doubt me because?”
“Seriously Tori I really do I have never felt this way towards anyone this early. Not even Shane.”
“Yeah well Shane hasn’t really given you anything to feel has he?”
Tori must have realized what she said sounded like cause her face turned beat red and she said,
“Wait I didn’t mean it like that I meant. Oh geez I meant he hasn’t really given you anything but friendship to feel towards him cause well that’s all he acts like is a friend. Which by the way you really must have set a fire under his tush cause he hasn’t called.”
I wanted to say good but held myself back.
“Kevin is perfect for you Cammie.”
Just then the phone rang since Tori is the closest to the phone she picked it up, looking at the caller ID she then looked at me.
“What? Please tell me it isn’t Kevin calling to cancel.”
I said holding my breath.
“No I guess we spoke too soon its Shane.”
Crap.
“Let him leave a message nothing is going to rennin my day with Kevin.”
Just then the buzzer went off, walking over and pressing the button I said,
“Hello.”
“Hey Cammie it’s me.”
Smiling I said.
“Come on up.”
I pressed the button to unlock the front doors and just then I heard Shane hang up the phone on the answering machine.
“I don’t want to listen to that right now.”
Tori nodded, a few moments later there was a knock at the door, walking over I opened it to revel Kevin holding flowers (Click here to see flowers).
“Kevin their beautiful, come in while I get these in some water.”
“I’ll do that you guys go and have a good time.”
Tori said coming to stand behind me shoving my purse (Click here to see purse) in my chest and taking the flowers from me.
“Have fun.”
She said giving me a shove out of the door then shutting it. Kevin and I laughed going to the elevator going down to the lobby leaving the building and getting into Kevin’s car.
“So where are we going?”
I asked.
“It’s a surprise.”
“You should know I don’t like surprises and that when it comes to surprises and me the surprise usually ends up going wrong.”
“Not this one.”
A few moments later ‘Over You’ by Daughtry came on the radio and I started to sing quietly to myself but when I heard Kevin also singing to himself we both started to sing loader. When the song was over we both burst out in laughter at our mini Karaoke session.
“You never told me you could sing.”
Kevin said making me blush.
“I sing every now and again.”
Boy was that a lie, no he can never know that I won’t have him think I’m using him or that Tori is using Joe no cause we’re not.
“Your good.”
I blushed yeah I get that a lot but coming from Kevin it made me blush. We drove for a while till we pulled up at the Zoo I smiled.
“You said you love animals and that the Zoo is your favorite place to spend a day besides the mall. So I thought we could spend the day here. Hope you bought your camera.”
Opening my purse I pulled out my camera (Click here to see camera).
“Never go out without it.”
Kevin laughed and we got out of the car, once we got our tickets we went in and started walking around the Zoo. We walked around for about an hour before we decided to get lunch. We got our food and found a table.
“You really like to take pictures.”
Kevin said referring to how I took pictures of almost everything, every exhibit, and every animal, pictures of us together and by ourselves.
“I love to take pictures, if I could go to College I’d major in Photography. I also like to keep pictures so later in life I can look back and plus I like to scrapbook”
Kevin chuckled.
“You’re the type that likes to walk down memory lane.”
I laughed.
“Only when I’m having a bad day but that’s only if listening to you guys doesn’t help which is only ninety seven percent of the time.”
“Glad we can help.”
We both laughed, we sat and talked for a while then headed to finish seeing everything the Zoo has to offer. As we walked away Kevin grabbed my hand lacing our fingers together, I smiled over at him, he smiled back at me. We spent the last I don’t know how many hours seeing the rest of the Zoo and they’re Botanical Gardens. We decided to head to the gift shop before leaving, once in the gift shop I head straight for the stuffed animals seeing as I collect stuffed animals, where I spotted a giant Tiger stuffed animal. Picking it up and looking at the price I sighed sitting it back down seeing the price knowing it was too much for me to pay for a stuffed animal. So grabbing a smaller version I walked over to Kevin who just placed a stuffed bear into his basket.
“For Frankie.”
I said.
“Yeah he’d kill me if he knew I was here and didn’t get him anything. Plus I like to spoil him.”
We looked around the store some more goofing off at the Toy Animal bin earning some looks from some of the costumers and the employees.  Kevin picked up a hand full of the Toy Animals placing them into his basket.
“Joe will have a field day with these especially the Gorilla.”
I laughed and we got in line me ahead of Kevin, once I was done seeing that the store was getting a little too crowded I told Kevin I will wait outside for him. Once outside my mind began to wonder how perfect the day has been and the weekend well besides me and Shane’s fight last night. I also began to wonder how things would change if I broke it off with Shane to be with Kevin. No remember what happened the last and only time I tried to break it off with him, I will not be responsible if.
‘You ready?”
Kevin’s voice broke me from my thoughts.
“Yeah.”
We left the Zoo going out to the car.
“Wait.”
Kevin said when his hand grabbed the door handle to open the passenger side door for me.
“This is for you.”
He said handing me a huge bag from the Zoo’s gift shop
“Kevin you didn’t have to get me anything.”
“I know but I wanted too, go ahead open it.”
I took the bag from him opened it without looking and shoved my hand in it which grabbed whatever was in it. The gift had fur on it no he didn’t please tell me he didn’t. I took the object out to revile the giant stuffed animal of a Tiger I was looking at.
“Kevin.”
He held up his hand.
“I saw you looking at it, you looked like a five year old girl seeing a huge doll house she wants, till you looked at the price tag. So when you had your back turned I asked the floor clerk to place it behind the counter. I knew that if you really wanted it and weren’t going to by it yourself I had to.”
Tears sprung to my eyes no one’s ever done anything like this for me ever. I walked forward and threw my free arm around Kevin hugging him.
“Thank you Kevin no one’s ever done anything so sweet for me before. Thank you.”
‘Your welcome.”
We pulled apart getting into the car.
“I think I’m going to name him Kevin.”
I said when Kevin started up the car, he laughed.
“Just so we’re clear I am cuter then the toy.”
I laughed and said,
“Of course.”
We both laughed and head back to my apartment building.

Awwww, I want to go to the zoo with Kevin. :]
