Prologue

         A small girl around five years old was swinging slowly on her swing set. Humming to herself until she heard a noise.

          "Huh?" She said softly

           "H-Hi.." A young voice speaking louder, she heard it clearly now. She looked around and saw a boy with curly brown hair. He began running towards her and then stopped when he was in front of her. "H-Hi.. I'm Nick. Who are you?"

            "I-I'm Lindsay." She said shyly. "Are you my new neighbor?"

             "Yup! I have two older brothers Joe and Kevin."

               "Wow two brothers? I don't have any brothers or sisters. Wanna be best friends?"

                "Sure!" He said excitedly. "May I swing with you?" She nodded. Soon she became best friends with Nick, Joe and Kevin for years until the day that would separate them.

Chapter 1

Tweleve year old Lindsay waited for the Jonas Family to come back. She had been best friends with them for seven years now. She sighed loudly then the doorbell rang and she ran quickly swinging the door open

"Hey guys! What's with the sad faces?" She asked with concern in her voice.

"W-We have some news.." Kevin said softly. "A woman heard us singing.. and she is a music producer.." Lindsay then cut him off before he could fininish.

"Oh my gosh! Really? Thats amazing! Why are you sad then?"

"We have to move and live in California now.." Nick said sadly. Tears were forming in his eyes.

"Oh wel.. at least you can live your dream now right? When do you leave?" Lindsay questioned.

"Tomorrow.. we have to start pack soon. Wanna help?" Joe suggested.

"Sure. I'm going to miss you guys and little frankie. Promise to keep in touch all right?" They nodded in agreement. She followed them to there house. The rest of the day was spent of packing stuff up and old memories being brought up, but unfortunately tomorrow came to soon. The next day there belongings were put into their van and u-haul.

"Bye Nick. Bye Joe. Bye Kevin. Bye little Frankie. Bye Mr. and Mrs. Jonas.." Lindsay whispered. Tears were forming in everyone's eyes. After there final goodbye the Jonas family got into the van and drove off.

Chapter 3

"Who did you guys call?" Nick asked in a bored tone.

"Lindsay, its her birthday remeber Nick?  She asked for you and once again I had to lie for you. Why can't you just talk to her?" Joe snapped. He couldn't take it when his best friend seemed upset.

"Whatever.." Nick mumbled. Nick wanted to talk to her but couldn't. He has had a crush on her since he was eleven and didn't know if she felt the same.

"Whatever? Dude is that all you have to say? You love her! Why can't you just tell her how you feel?!" Joe's voice rising.

"I just can't okay?! What if she doesn't like me back. I can't ruin our friendship!" Nick screamed back.

"Well, bud you are ruining it by not talking to her! Can't you tell she is hurting too? I'm tired of always telling her that your busy! Your so frustrating god!" Joe yelled with so much anger in his voice. He then turned around and walked away.

"Whoa what was with the yelling?" Kevin spoke calmly.

"Shut up Kevin. Joe is pissed at me for not talking to Lindsay." Nick mumbled.

"Well, you should. She misses you Nick." Kevin said.

"I know.. I miss her too." Tears slowly forming in his eyes.
