Chapter 3
After dinner Charles suggested that we the kids go in to the back yard. I think he just wanted me away. Anyway I went outside with Joe, Nick and his little brother, Kevin say he will stay for a while.
We just sat, talking, all four of us. The little Frankie told me everything about his school and his friends. I also told him about my friends back in Florida.
“You don't have any friends here?” Frankie ask.
“Well i guess no yet” I said.
“Then I can be your friend!” Frankie said.
“Sure, That would be great!” I said.
“I will tell Kevin that I made a new friend” Frankie said and left.
“So… that was... mmm” I said smiling
“Weird? yes these are my brothers… Weirdos” Joe whispered
“We learned it for you…” Nick said. The three of us burst out laughing. After that Kevin joined us and we keep talking and laughing as well.
“Time to go kids!” Denise said from inside
“Well I guess I'll see you again sometime soon” I said and my expression fall. It's just that I was having so much fun with these guys.
“Why don't you come to our house and hang out for a while?” Joe asked me
“Sure! Just give me a sec” I said. They were saying their goodbyes and I was kind of excited that I had made friends so quickly, after they left I hurried to their house asking my mom permission first, of course, kind of.
I was running, and halfway out the door I yelled “Bye mom!” That counts right?. I heard her sayin something to me. I just didnt care and walked to the Jonas house with Joe who waited for me outside.
Their house was really cool. It was all tall and pretty inside. And I just have to say that Joe's not only 110% gorgeous, he's also cute and funny. He made me laugh almost all the way here.
Kevin and Nick started fighting over something I didn't hear. I was too distracted with Joe's smile. He caught me staring and i quickly looked away blushing.
After me and Joe got tired of laughing at Kevin and Nick while they wrestled over who will make milkshakes for all of us, Joe offered to give me a tour of the house. I said yes but only because he smiled at me when he ask
He showed me Nick and Frankie's room first. It was pretty big, on the left side was an acoustic guitar and a lot of paper with notes and stuffs, -Nick's side i guees- i think. And on the right side were about 5 million posters of comics and my personal favorite Spongebob.
“Spongebob!” I almost screamed and jumped onto Frankie's bed so I could look at it closer. Joe laughed and I looked at him strangely.
“Quick question?” I asked. He nodded “Sure” I looked at him directly and ask “Are you laughing with me or at me?” He laughed again and I blinked
“With you” I smiled and hopped down of the bed with his help.
“Ok, so off to see your room?” I said, turning the light off in Frankie and Nick's room. Joe shook his head. “No way”
“Please?” I asked, sticking out my bottom lip. He shook his head again and smiled “What if I give you chocolate?” I asked and he seemed to think about it.
“What kind?” he asked. I smiled and said “The good kind”. He looked at me an then asked “What kind is that?”
“The kind I'm going to give you if you show me your room” He smirked and nodded. Never underestimate the power of chocolate. Ever!
