Actually, it was only half of a picture .
I picked it up it was of a boy with straight dark brown hair
“Who is this?” I thought
I looked down at his hand and it looked like he was holding someone else’s hand.
“I wonder who this is “ I thought getting up
“Hey Delaney, what did you find?” my dad asked
“Who’s this boy in this picture?”
“That’s Nick”
“Who’s Nick?”
“You don’t remember him?”
“Not the slightest”
“You two were inseparable in preschool “
“Oh, why do I have this half of the picture?”
“That’s the part you were holding onto when Denise and I tried to pull you two apart one day.”
