So, if you are all wondering why this post is so old, I'm can't seem to start a new thread so, I'm just gonnas use this onld one. Hence, ignore Kelly's comment. lol

Prologue

Two small children sit on the side of a sandbox, a little girl and a little boy. The boy was all smiles with his big brown eyes and his Barney T-shirt. The little girl’s light brown hair was in a french braid and was clutching her barbie doll close to her side. The two compared animal crackers and enjoyed some meaningless conversation. Life was so easy at four years old. The world seemed so big and their troubles were small. The little boy leaned in and gave the girl a kiss on the cheek.
“Eww!”, she screamed as she ran into the arms of her mother. The little boy sat in confusion. The two children remained best friends, but the boy still had an urge to kiss her again, even after twelve years later.

Chapter One

“Joseph! Adam! Jonas! I am going to kill you!”, screamed a girl, drenched from a water balloon.
    “You have to catch me first!”, replied the culprit. He ran off into the house. Standing in front of a screen door, he began to mock her.
    “Haha, you can’t come in!” He made a funny face and she laughed.
    “How old are you?”, she asked
    “One month, one week, and one day older than you!”, he answered matter-of-factly.
    “Well you sure don’t act like it!” Just then, a curly -headed kid walked around the corner of the house. The girl ran over to the boy, stopping him from saying anything by covering his mouth.
    “Ssssshh!” She had a devilish look in her eyes. “ Do you want to help play a prank on your brother?”
    “ I think you know the answer to that!” They discussed their plan clandestinely. The plan was a go. It was time to five James Bond a taste of his own medicine! The curly-haired boy casually walked into the house, as the gril grabbed a water balloon and awaited her target.
    “Hey Joe!”
    “Hey Nick, what’s up?”
    “Nothing. I just saw Ash walking home. She looked kinda mad. Did something happen?”
    “Uh oh” He ran out the door after her. “Ash! Wait!” The next thing he knew, a big purple balloon hit him right in the back, from behind, getting him soaking wet.
    “You may be older, but you are so much dumber!”, she said jokingly.
    “Oh, it’s on now!”

Ashleigh’s POV

    I ran off, this time, I made it to the house first. I locked the door behind me, leaving Joe standing outside. I walked to the fridge, grabbed an orange gatorade, and headed into the boy’s room. Kevin was sitting on the couch, watching TV.
    “Hey Ash, what’s going on?”, said Kevin.
    “Oh nothing, just locking your brother out of his own house and stealing his gatorade.”
    “Oh, water balloons?”
    “Yep. What cha watching?”
    “music videos.” Typical Kevin. All of this was a normal occurrence. The Jonas house was my second home, just as mine was Joe’s.
    “Any new songs lately?”, I asked. I loved their music.
    “Yea, Joe and Nick wrote one the other day.”
    “Really? What’s it called?”
    “It’s called Just Friends.”
    “That’s weird, they didn’t tell me.” I was the one Joe came to first, other than his brothers and parents, when he had a new song. This puzzled me.
    “He probably just forgot. I still don’t know the music yet. I’m sure it’s no big deal.”, Kevin assured me.
    “I hope so.”

So, what do you think? Should I keep it going?
