Chapter One

' Jamie Jersey'

- Nick's pov -

“Dude I can't believe your doing this!” Joe said as I put in my contacts. “Shut up Joe! He can do it if he wants” Kevin said. “Be Nice!!” mom yelled up the stairs. “Sorry mom” they said. I put only my black rimmed glasses. I looked great! Nothing like myself besides my curly hair. I was wearing baggy jeans, a white t-shirt, and a blue long sleeve button-up shirt unbuttoned. “Dude, You look nothing like Nick, it's great cuz' you were pretty ugly.” I punched him in the arm. “Quit it dude” I walked down the stairs, putting on a pair of brown converse. “Now remember Nick, Your name is Jamie, you just came here from?” My dad quizzed me. “Walla Walla, Washington.” I sighed. “Why can't it be New Jersey?” I asked, Joe pounded his chest “Representing” “Shut up Joe” I said. “Be nice!” My mom said, again. “Sorry mom.” “Because there might be a chance, they will be suspicious” “There 10^th graders dad not FBI agents.” Kevin said. “You never know.” I sighed. “I better get going.” I grabbed my bag. My mom came in teary eyed. “My baby's going to High School.” “I went to high school and you weren't crying” Kevin said. “That's because she had three more children coming.” Joe said laughing. Mom kissed my forehead. “I can't wait till' you get those contacts out, there covering you amazing brown eyes.” I sighed and went out the door. I got on my bike. I started up bad falling at least twice, Scuffing up my pants a little. “This is something I definatley won't miss when I'm me again.” I rode to school, huffing and puffing the entire way but I got there. I put my bike in the rack. I walked to the office. “Hello I'm-” “New student?” a woman said completely cutting me off. “Yes.” I said. “What's your name kid?” “N...Jamie, Jamie” She looked at me. “Your full name?” “umm Jamie...” I looked around, why didn't dad give me a last name. “Jamie Jersey” I said quickly. “Jamie Jersey?” she said. “Yes” “Here are your papers, come here I will get you a student i.d.” I came around to a camera she snapped before I even had a chance to look up. “one sec.” she came out with this crappy card that said my name and a picture of me looking down, I don't see a use of a student I.D if you can't see your face. “Here are your classes and whatnot” She said chomping on her gum. Gosh I hate when people do that. I walked out of the room running directly into someone. “What it, kid” a guy said pushing me down. My glasses fell to the floor. A girl came up to me, helping me with my stuff. “Hey, you better watch yourself better, unless you want to be fish food.” I put on my glasses. She handed me my stuff. The bell rang. “Oops gotta go. See ya 'round, kid” She ran down the hall. “Hey I didn't catch your-” but she was already gone. “Better get going.” I said talking to myself. I should really stop doing that.
