CHAPTER 1
I got out of my car, and slammed the door. For one thing I was definitely pissed, you see this morning I couldn’t get into the bathroom, then I had nothing to eat before school, lastly my stepsister took my favourite car to school and I was stuck with my fathers Lamborghini. I know, this is probably the greatest car for someone to ever have, but this was nothing. This car was lukewarm for me because my father was David Beckham, the famous soccer player. You see, my father and family was a family of 5 me, Christina, my brother Antonio , my step mother Anita , my horrible step sister Corinne , and my father David . My father did love me, but his new family was more priority than me and Antonio, fir now anyways. On the rare occasion I would get a gift here and there but not as much anymore.
I saw Corinne walking down the hallway with all of her fake friends. They all were obsessed with the Jonas Brothers an American band. No not me they were very attractive, but they weren’t the greatest! Corinne walked straight up to me and said, “What the hell happened to you?” I took a step back, and looked at myself.I was wearing jogging pants, a t-shirt, tennis shoes and my hair was up in a high ponytail.
“Well after I had no time in the bathroom, had nothing to eat, then was stuck with dads old car!?” I paused for a second and breathed to let out all my frustrated” You tell me??”
“ It is not my fault you couldn’t do all of those things, you are just slow!” she paused and continued, “ By the way Daddy told me to tell you that he bought tickets for my friends and I to go to a Jonas Brothers concert in New York, unfortunately I have to bring you!”
This really was not my day; I couldn’t even get ready properly for school this morning and now I have to go with Corinne and her ditzy friends to their stupid concert! That is it! Now I’m pissed!!!!
“Alright!” I tried to smile but I could not tell whether it came out forced or an actual smile.
They strutted back down the hallway. I could here Antonio call my name, “Christina” he called my name and I turned around to face him. “Did you hear?”
“About what?” I asked wondering if there was worse news now
“You have to go to the JB concert with Corinne” he looked down at me, “I will come along with you, if you’d like?”
“Sure” Now I was satisfied my favourite and only brother was going to help me and stay with me while I had to waste about 2 weeks in New York with my STUPID stepsister.
Antonio went over to his friends, and then I headed straight to my next class. The whole day I couldn’t stop thinking or waiting for something else bad to happen, I was already humiliated. I rushed over to my car in the parking lot and, threw all of my stuff in the passenger seat, got in, started the car, and drove straight home.
CHAPTER 2
I pulled in the door behind as I trudged into the house. There waiting for me was my stepmother, Anita. I knew exactly what I had to do now. I would have to clean the whole entire house from top to bottom.
“I have a job for you Christina?”
“Can I at least put my stuff upstairs before I become slave?”
“Oh don’t worry, you will not be alone, your brother will help you”
“Speaking of Antonio, he is coming with me and Corinne to the concert. Sorry if I ruined your evil plan!” I made a rude look, and then basically trudged upstairs to my room.
My room was up in the attic, it was the farthest room from my family. From where I was situated I couldn’t here anything from everyone below me. This was a good thing because, I couldn’t here Corinne’s horrible music, my father and Anita doing things, and even my brother Antonio and his friends (they were VERY loud). But up here it was all concentrated on my noise.
“Christina! Christina...” it was Corinne, I ran down the stairs before she could enter the hallway to my room.
She looked even worse than when she usually did
I know she probably looks like a goddess to you, but to me, she looked HORRIBLE!
“What happened to you?” looking at her sluttish outfit.
“What do you mean?”
“I’m sorry to say, but you look like a hooker!” I looked over to her, “When are you ever going to wear that?”
“To the concert” she said and gave me a dirty look, “You know the one you are coming to… alone!”
“That is where you are wrong; you see Antonio is coming with us.” She ran over to her mother downstairs to complain. I finally got her back for being a
witch! This was major news; I had to tell my friend about this wonderful experience.
But then…
“Christina! Get down here right now!”
“Coming!” I took my sweet time coming down the stairs. Right at the bottom of the stairs was Corinne, and Anita.
“I thought I told you to clean the house before you went upstairs to socialize with your friends?”
“Listen, I just got inside okay now relax!!! I’m going to do that right now!”
I stomped threw them, to the cleaning cupboard, grabbed the duster, Windex, Lysol air freshener, and the wash clothe, gave them both my F you face, and ran up the stairs and started to clean. When I finished my slave duties, Antonio had to vacuum and mop.
My father came home around nine thirty (9:30 PM) after he ate dinner, and was tortured by Anita and Corinne he came back to his OLD family. Antonio and I were up in my room. I heard a knock on my room door then a slight noise from the door and the sound of someone running upstairs. It was my father, I rushed over to him, and embraced him Antonio did the same.
“So did Corinne tell you about the concert?” he looked as though he was waiting for a happy expression on my face.
“Yes, why do I have to go? I get good grades in school, and do everything I’m told to do even if I don’t want to.”
“Honey this is not punishment, it is a thank you gift, I thought you liked the Jonas Brothers.”
“I don’’ like them dad, do you even know me anymore?”
“Yes I do, I just really need a person to go with her and friends to New York. She has never been on a plane all by herself.”
“Okay, just because I love you dad, and Antonio is coming with us too”
“The more people go, the more money I spend.”
“I’ll pay for it dad” Antonio added like it was a reflex.
“Alright, that is good to know you both look out for each other.” He looked at both of us, and grinned, then kissed me on the forehead got up and headed back to his new family.
That night I had the weirdest dream, my whole family was there, even my mother
My father’s new family was there, and he split family in two the old one (Me, Antonio, and my mother) and the new one (Anita and Corinne) this was not fair. I already knew which one he would choose, it would have to be us, we were there before them, and we were always there for him no matter what. He looked silently at both families, turned toward us, and took a step; he then took another turn toward the new family, and went straight over to them. It did not even matter to him that he did not hesitate.

CHAPTER 3
This morning I beat the alarm clock, was the first in the bathroom, and the first teen to leave home. Today was going to be good, I hope. I took my favourite car to school, and even beat the custodian to the school. As I sat in my car waiting for school to start, or people to arrive, I felt myself staring into space thinking about last nights dream. I could not get over the fact that my father would choose them over me and the rest of his OLD family. Why? Was all I had to ask myself? I was rudely interrupted by Corinne.
“Why didn’t you wait for me?” she looked like a train wreck.
“Oops!” I was definitely lying, I purposely left her.
“Didn’t daddy tell you to wait for me?” I just had one question, David Beckham wasn’t her real father, and she had no authority to call him DADDY! She was that go digger’s daughter who would call any one her father. I mean her mother slept with every guy that had money.
“Sorry! God get off my case!”
“What is wrong with you? What pissed you off?”
“You and your MOTHER!” I took my bag, got out of the car, slammed the door, and walked away.
I had my first and second period with mad emotions. Corinne came running over to me while I was getting all my stuff from my locker to leave for New York. Today was the horrible day I would have to leave California to go to New York City! I guess it would be fun.
Antonio was waiting outside with all of our bags in his Escalade. We would get dad and Anita to drive my car home. This would be fun! I had to keep telling myself that before hyperventilating. I had never been to NY before. I was so glad to be leaving the hell whole with Anita for two weeks I was happy about that, if only we could leave Corinne behind. Antonio was the best company to have with me.
We all boarded the plane. The flight attendant kept checking us during the flight. It was a 3 hour flight from Cali to New York. The flight was fun we flew in first class, Corinne fell asleep the 2nd hour, and Antonio and I were up the whole time. I was hoping on catching up on sleep when we got there. I knew dad arranged for a Hilton or Marriott for us to stay in. We would all have our own rooms. We finally got to the Hotel; it was a Mariott my favourite! What was I thinking before he did remember all of the things about me. He still loved me, he wouldn’t leave us. We all had a presidential sweet, one on each floor.
I was jet lagged! I rushed into my room for some shut eye. I unpacked all of my clothes and fell asleep on the bed from reading. I awoke to a knock on the door, it was Antonio.
“Get ready, it’s time for dinner.”
“Alright! I’m coming.”
“Meet me downstairs”
“K” I replied, rushing to get something in the closet.
I went down in the lobby, I wore a nice green dress , I saw Corinne wearing a pink strpless dress, and Antonio was wearing a black shirt and dress pants. They ran over to me, and said that we would have to wait for a table. We all waited in the lobby. Ten minutes later the waiter called us in, there were about 200 people in the dining room, and I guessed that there was a show. A group of teen girls started screaming, what happened? Was there a big crisis? Who was here? It didn’t really matter, I was hungry.

CHAPTER 4
The teens crowded a group of about seven guys, and a beautiful woman. Corinne caught a glance of the group and screamed; Antonio and I looked over at her and gave her a stern look.
“It’s JB!” She turned to both Antonio and I, “Can I go over?”
“No!” answered Antonio
“Why not?”
“Because those girls would probably eat you alive! Now stay put. We can’t afford to let you get killed, even if we want to.”
She looked disappointed the whole dinner; she casually glanced over at the Jonas table with all of their fans basically trying to eat them.
After dinner, we all said goodnight, and headed back to our rooms. I took the other elevator to my room. JB was coming into the elevator, they all stepped in, one looked at me and licked his lips he was really HOTT! I had to snap out of it this was no way to act; I was literally drooling with my eyes. He looked at me and let out a little chuckle. I smiled and then figured out the others expressions. The elevator was jammed pack with people. The elevator stopped on my floor, and then they all stepped out as well. This didn’t bother me, they were probably had a room on the same floor. I paid no attention to them, and went to my room. I looked back casually, and then found less people behind me, but there was still The Jonas Brothers... just 3 bros and the woman. I reached the room, and finally turned to ask what room they had.
“Excuse me, but what room do you have?”
“Well, we are staying in room number 506” That was my room; I was sharing a room with 3 other people? What?!
“Oh! Well that is my room”
“The Presidential suite? For one person?”
“Umm… I know you see, my father reserved this suite for me he never told me that I would have guests.”
“Oh you are the guest staying with us; the front desk told us that we would have an extra person in the suite with us.”
“Alright”
I opened the door, and we all stepped in. I turned the lights on, and saw all of their bags on the floor close to the balcony door.
That night before I went to bed, the one boy that was watching me came over to me.

CHAPTER 5
I was in pyjamas was ready for bed. He stepped close to my bed.
“Hey!” he smiled, and then waited for my response.
“Hello, goodnight!” I didn’t really want to have a conversation.
“I just have a one question for you. How could you get a presidential suite all to yourself?” Was he really asking me this?
“Well, you probably won’t believe me, but my father is David Beckham.” I was biting my bottom lip waiting to see whether he believed me. A lot of people do not usually believe me unless if I prove it.
“No! Are you serious?”
“Yes” I let out a little chuckle and smiled. Our eyes met, and I could feel a connection.
“Now I have a question for you. Are you JB?” I didn’t want to seem ditsy, but I just had to ask. He looked at me with a look that probably said how could you not know me, but it faded.
“Yep I'm Nick from the Jonas Brothers, the one with the curly/straight hair is kevin , the really tall one is Ben Joe's best friend, the one with the straight hair is Joe, and the lady you first talked to is Denise our mom.”
“Cool” I could remember Corinne always raving about Nick, he was talking to me! Corinne would hate me even more if I got with him. “Oh yah I’m coming to your concert tomorrow.”
“Well you seem excited!”
“I guess I am I get to see you again.” I smiled and could feel a connection, “I’m not really a fan, but my father told me to come with my step sister, but my brother is here with me.
“Oh! He isn’t going to kill me he hears about this?” He leaned in, and we… were rudely interrupted by my phone. Whoever this is, they better have a good reason to be calling. I picked up the phone, and speaking of Corinne.
“What!?”
“What is wrong with you? Who cares anyways, I’m outside you door, I need your help.” She seemed sad, so I knew if I didn’t open the door I would get in trouble and have to double up on my slave duties.
“Okay. Bye.” I hung up the phone, and then heard a knock on the door. Kevin rushed for the door. He stopped, looked at Patrick’s and my stance. He was right beside me and was looking into my deep green eyes. Kevin gave us a father like stare and then he opened the door. She stepped in, then caught on to who opened the door. Corinne opened her mouth to scream, but Kevin grabbed her and brought her over to Nick and i. She looked actually good.
“Christina, can I talk to you?”
“Talk, I’m not moving, I like my position right now.” I smiled at her.
“Okay if you insist, I need to call mom so, can I use your phone”
“No! Didn’t you use your phone to call me to open my door for?
You?”
“Don’t you mean their door as well?”
“Oops! I forgot to tell you that your favourite band was staying in
My room.” This was working, she was getting mad, and I could see it in her forehead. It was wonderful to actually see her not getting it her way. “You know you can leave, because you don’t need my phone. Did you call dad and Anita, did they tell you that I was sharing a room with JB?”
“Of course!” she looked perturbed. “Actually, I really just came up here to see if they were lying to me.”
“Well they weren’t.”
“Please don’t take Nick, he’s my man!” she really thought that I was going to listen to her, do you know how many times she has done this to me? She literally took advantage of my dating skills. It wasn’t really fun or nice.
“If he comes on to me, then I can’t really guarantee that I’ll be able to keep your promise.
I looked over at her, and could see that she was nervous staring down Nick.
“Alright, now leave! I need my rest to get up early and do things around the city. I think that I’m going to have someone tour me around the city.”
“Okay! Goodnight” she gave ma a fake smile, turned and left.
Nick was less tense now; he was a little more comfortable when Corinne left.
“Was that your sister?”
“No! She’s my step sister, Corinne. She is probably your biggest fan in the Cali.”
“Wow! Hey you aren’t my biggest fan? No I’m your most real fan in the Cali.” He locked eyes with me once again.
We both leaned in to meet, it was real, and my first celebrities kiss. I loved it. I definitely felt a connection with Nick, something a lot different than other guys. Joe the older brother had came in I guess to tell Patrick that they had to go to bed when he saw both of us; he shied away into the other room.
“JOE!!” Nick yelled at him I think because he probably wrecked it. I saw Joe poke his head through the doorway.
“Hmmm!”
“Come here, I need to ask you something.”
“Coming!” he walked over, and seemed a little uncomfortable.
“Alright, are we going to be doing something tomorrow? Because I was going to show Christina around New York.”
“No, not really we’re just going to rest tomorrow and hang around the suite while mom goes shopping.”
“Good, I’ll take you around the city.” He didn’t hesitate to answer.
“Cool!” I looked over at nick, and smiled at least tried to.
“By the way mom said we have to go to sleep now.” Joe quickly changed the subject.
“Can you stay with me until I fall asleep?”
“No problem.” nick said. joe left, Nick was lying right next to me and turned off the lamp on the night stand. I fell asleep quicker than usual.
**TA DA** hmmm... a tour around the big apple with Nick J!! awesomeness to the max!! wonder wut'll happen on the tour with nick around the city????..... comment to find out! **
