Five Colours In Her Hair [One-shot]
Modified By xHold_Onx on 2/10/2008 12:14:27 AM)
Alright guys, so this is a song one-shot based on the song "Five Colours In Her Hair" by McFly!

Enjoy,
Lexi

He sat down at his desk, running his fingers through his tight curls as he uncapped his favorite green pen, that, like everything else nowadays, reminded him of her. He took in a deep breath and began to write.

She's got a lip ring and 5 colours in her hair,
Not into fashion but I love the clothes she wears,
Her tattoo's always hidden by her underwear.
She don't care.
Everybody wants to know her name,
I threw a house party and she came
Everyone asked me
Who the hell is she?
That weirdo with 5 colours in her hair.

Ever since that first day in the studio, I knew you were something special. It's hard to say what first drew my eyes to you. Was it your chin-length shaggy black hair that had neon pink, white, yellow, lime green, and turquoise streaks? Or your outfit? Yuo don't see many girls wearing black skinny jeans, white Hanes t-shirts, and lemon yellow suspenders...at least not ones that can pull them off. Or maybe it was the very top of the tattoo showing below your shirt, with turquoise writing that matched your eyes? Or maybe it was the way you laughed at all of my jokes...even the ones that weren't funny? The way that you pretended not to be listening to what my brothers and I were saying to the producer, but you clearly were? Or how you egged me on when he wanted to change our stuff? Or how you danced when we were recording our songs, even though you weren't supposed to be listening?
No.
I think it was the way that you didn't care what anyone else thought, like when you went to lunch and were eating that sketchy looking sushi, and even though everyone was giving you dirty looks, you tuned them out and blasted that corny country music that no one expected to hear come out of YOUR MP3 player."

She's just a loner with a sexy attitude,
I'd like to phone her 'cause she puts me in the mood.
The rumours spreading round that she cooks in the nude.
But she don't care, she don't care.
Everybody wants to know her name,
How does she cope with her new found fame?
Everyone asks me,
Who the hell is she?
That weirdo with 5 colours in her hair.

"I love the way that you gave me your number when my family just bought the house, even though it was completely unnecessary. I also love that it seemed so necessary when, three days later, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Just thinking about you gave me the courage to call you up and ask you out to coffee. I surprised Joe and Kevin for once in my life! And I have you to thank for that. The more we saw each other, the bolder I got, I even considered getting a tattoo, which I didn't, but could still happen. But then the papparazzi spotted us, and couldn't get enough. They called you the "Anti-Hannah Montana" which, though you would never admit it, was a title that I knew you were proud of, and you never told them your name, everytime they asked you just said that it didn't matter. When the papparazzi got heavier, I told you that you just had to say the word, and I'd stop all of this, but you never did, you knew it was a part of me, and you told me that you loved me, all of me, even the parts that were new to you. I knew it'd be hard to adjust, it always is, and you were a behind-the-scenes kind of girl, but you adjusted for me, which makes me wish that I hadn't left you alone to go on tour, you were still new to everything, but I was dumb, and you told me you could handle it...I shouldn't have believed you. I loved you so much, but you convinced me that I loved my music more"

She was all I thought about,
The girl I couldn't live without.
But then she went insane,
She couldn't take the fame
She said I was to blame
She'd had enough
And shaved five colours off
And now she's just a weirdo with no name.

"Every day on that tour, I secretly dedicated every song to you. Every wave, kiss, wink, hug, and smile that I gave to the fans was for you. Every snicker and every smirk, because I knew how much you loved them. Every red bull that I drank, I drank for you. The phone calls and texts couldn't sustain me, I needed you. Finally, our tour stopped in town for three days, I spent every possible minute with you, I could tell there was something up with you, but you would never ruin my little 'vacation' of sorts, and I just wanted to avoid any downer, looking back, I wish that I was more mature and stopped to ask you what was wrong, but for the first time in my life, everything was going perfectly, I didn't want to ruin that. But the time came and I had to leave for Oregon. I can't even go to Oregon anymore, last time that I did, I forgot to eat and was rushed to the hospital because my blood sugar was practically nonexistent. But I went to Oregon, when things were happier, and you were rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with cancer. If I had known, I would have stopped you from doing what you did, but I didn't know until it was too late. We never talked about it, but I knew that if you ever got sick like that, you wouldn't prolong anything, you would take matters into your own hands, like you did with everything else. That night, I can only imagine what was going through your head as you did what you did. You shaved off all of your hair and drove to San Francisco and jumped off of the Bay Bridge, the place where we shared our first, fifth, sixteenth, thirty ninth, and sixty first kisses. Believe it or not, I woke up at 4:53 that night...or morning, rather, and knew that something was wrong. It felt like my heart was broken. I called you but you didn't pick up, I texted you and IMed you, but there was no reply. I signed onto my email, and there it was, waiting for me. It was explaining what you were doing, that I couldn't stop you, that you wanted me to continue to live, to love someone else, to marry a redhead because that would be so cool, and have three kids, two girls and a boy, just like we had planned. You told me to do so many things that you could never do like skydive, rock climb, that Trapeze thing, scuba dive, parasail, and bungee jump. You told me to keep golfing, because it was awesome, and to keep writing music. You said you'd be with me forever and you told me, specifically, not to get a tattoo. I should thank you for that, really."

Everybody wants to know her name.
How does she cope with her new found fame?
Everyone asks me,
Who the hell is she,
That weirdo with five colours in her hair.

"I did everything you said, right on the dot. I married a woman named Isabella, you'd like her, she's a redhead with lots of freckles and green eyes, just like you said. Our first child was a boy, his name is Hayden Peter Jonas, and is now 16, the age I was when I met you. He has my hair and his mother's eyes, and lots of freckles, from both sides. He loves music and tennis. Our second child is 14, her name is Andrea Grace, and we call her Andy, which I know is what you wished to be called. She has strawberry blond hair and is a soccer goddess. Our third, and last, child, has ink black hair and turquoise eyes, which aren't found on either of her parents genes. She looks just like you, and acts like you too, which, from a parent's perspective, is not so great. She's my little miracle, she's named Melody Jane, after you, and turns 12 today, which I realize is your birthday, which sparked me to write this letter. She is a gift from God, I know it, so that I will always remember you. The papparazzi will always call you "The Weirdo With Five Colours In Her Hair" but you will forever be my sweet sweet Melody.

We are having a concert today, in your honor, to benefit cancer research. I'm playing the two songs that no one else knows are for you. I think you'd like them Mel, but it's time to go now. I'll see you in eternity.

Always and Forever,
Nicholas Jerry Jonas"

Thanks SO much Ari!!! (Thank you Starbound27)
