Introduction

(Julianne POV)>>

Julianne walked down the hall of Mrs. Porters School for Young Ladies with a small look of defeat on her face. She had just come from the student council office where she resided as co-president to the school student council. Julianne looked down at her senior schedule that sat folded on the top of her folder and books, with a sigh she exited the main building and headed towards the dormitories. >>

Julianne watched the new freshmen as she walked through the front gardens towards her home away from home. Though Julianne had attended Mrs. Porters School for Young Ladies since she was a freshman herself, Julianne had yet to uncover all the mysteries of her historical school. >>

In fact, Julianne doubted that any girl who had attended the school in the last 100 years has. Mrs. Porters School for Young Ladies was first built as a finishing school for young ladies to help them become perfect women in society. But now, the school helps the largest population of girls ready and eager to go on to great futures at Harvard, lace w:st="on">Princetonlace> and other prestigious schools.>>

As Julianne reached the dorms she pushed her way through the masses and headed down the hall to her room.  Opening the door she walked in and closed it quickly behind her. >>

Walking over to her mirror she looked at herself in horror. Her hair was blown in every direction but the correct one, her cheeks were red and her eyes were bloodshot. But such was to be expected considering she had pulled several all niters trying to get together the fall festival for her school. >>

Though this wasn’t the first time Julianne had helped with the fall festival, it was the first time that the fall festival was going to double as a charity drive for the local orphanage.  And of course, this was the first time that Julianne was put in charge of the event. Every year before Julianne had dutifully done her best to help the poor fool in charge of the fall festival, not once did she think she would be the one stuck doing it this year.>>

Julianne woke up when her alarm clock went off at 6:30 am the next morning. Though she was tired she knew that if she laid back down she would be late for class, so she dutifully dragged herself out of bed and walked towards the in-room bathroom. Though most of the girls in the school had to share the community bathroom, Julianne was an exception. Not only was she a Senior but she was the co-president of the Student Council so she got certain perks for all of her hard work.

And she was grateful, Julianne had to deal with the community bathrooms the first three years of school and it wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience. Monday through Friday if you wanted to shower in the morning you had to be up just before 5am or else you wouldn’t be able to get a shower in time for breakfast. Not to mention girls were constantly leaving there shampoo and conditioner in the showers and when they realized they left it they would just reach in and get it even when someone was showering.

A private bathroom and shower was much more pleasant by far. Turning on the shower, Julianne walked back into the room and opened her drawers grabbing her school uniform. Every Monday through Thursday all the girls at the school were required to wear the school uniform but on Friday through Sunday they could wear whatever they wanted.

Making her way back to the bathroom Julianne glanced at her sleeping room mate, boy was she glad that Danielle didn’t snore. Last year Julianne roomed with a girl who snored really bad and Julianne hardly ever got a full nights sleep.

Closing the door to the bathroom she quickly got undressed and got into the nice and hot shower. Not two minutes after she got in the shower she could hear Danielle’s alarm clock go off in the adjacent room.
