Chapter One

Right now, you are probably what happened, and who I even am. As I had said, my name is Ashlynn Taylor. I have blondish-brownish hair coming just below my shoulders. My hair jagged out a bit, and I had side swept bangs that always covered my right eye. My eyes themselves are a light blue, almost silver. I have long legs, making up most of my 5’8” structure. I have a purity ring which I never take off. I vow never to take off this necklace, why? It was given to me by my parents. My parents have now died.

You are probably wondering just how this has happened. Well, I came home today to see my house burnt to ashes. I had heard the words no child should ever have to hear.

“Ms. Taylor, I am sorry to inform you, but your parents are dead”

Sure, I may be 18, but that doesn’t mean I don’t need my perants! This was far too much, my best friend had died a few months ago, she was anorexic. And my brother, he went missing one day, no body knows what happened to him.

So here I am, just lying in the ashes remaining of the house. I could even be sitting in the ashes of my parents. Why does this have to happen to me?!

That I will never know, I do not know what is planned out for me. But, That doesn’t mean that this is necessarily a good thing. Wishes that I would know what happened, and why, filled my mind. My friends wouldn’t understand, that I know. When I go to them, they just talk about the Jonas Boys- or something like that. I never even get a chance to talk. When I found out about this habit shared by them, I vowed never to lay my eyes to them, or set my ears to their voices. If I’m listening to the radio, and their song comes on, I turn it off. If their on TV, I turn it off. I never want to ever hear about those idiots again!

Why do I call them idiots? Well, anybody who has turned a friend against another friend in their time of need would be an idiot. But my friends didn’t know I was in need, because of them. I had two friends though, who cared about me, Niki and Meech. But they had been gone for such a long time for a road trip. They wanted me to go, but I refused, I do not know why.

But did anybody even care if I were dead or missing? That was a question that rung through my mind all of the time, how could I possible know the answer? If I asked people, they would report me, saying I was going to commit suicide. No body even cared anymore, I mean, why would they? I’m just a poor girl, now, I am a poor Orphan.
