Chapter One=)
The stage went dull as i finished my show, my manager came over and rushed me off stage, so they could quikly set up for the next person doing there act. I breathed a sigh of relief that everything went okay, every night i was worried that i would fall, or i would slip, or make a mistake. People think that being in the circus is an easy job, but its not, everynight i have to risk my life to entertain the audience, but seeing the smiles and amazement on there faces, made it all worth it.
I have been a circus entertainer for well as long as i can remember, when i was a little baby, my mom couldnt take care of me, so she gave me up for adoption and the circus took me in. It was the best thing she could have done. I was raised by My old manager, Stacey, but she passed away when i was 15, and Then my new manager took over, shes called Loes and shes amazing. Im always learning new stuff to make my show better. Which makes me better.
Being in the circus is amazing, i have great friends, get on with everyone, it doesnt even feel like work. I sat there getting ready for my next performance, Tying the laises on my rollerskates i heard the door creep open.
"Heyyy, great show, just remember to focus, and keep your eyes on the prize" My manager, Loes came in smiling. I had to smile.
"And what exactly is the prize?" I giggeled. She just looked at me.
"Well, you know what i mean, Just hold onto Nate, at if anytime you dont feel safe, dont go through with it" She smiled concerened at me. See, i told you she was amazing.
"Il be fine" I smiled standing up, and stretching, getting ready for the show.
"Ready?" Another figure appeared in the doorway. It was Nate, my partner in one of my performances. I did 2 performances a night, one with my partner nate, who was only my partner in the show nothing else, and one on my own.
"Sure Am" I smiled taking his hand, we skated out of the doors together and took our places on the little circular stage that had been placed in the middle of the arena, so we could show off and do our tricks. As i looked back i could see the worry on Loes face as we were ready to start the show. She always did worry too much!
