Hey all! This is my new FF called "Now or Never"....and it's a sequel to "When The Time Is Right!" It may start off a bit slow....but trust me, things are going to heat up and become drama-filled. There may be auditions half way through...but I haven't decided yet. I hope you all like it :D
Chapter One
I had gotten the invitation in the mail a little over four months ago. I had just gotten back from work, my feet aching, and my head pouding, when I went to check the mail. I sorted through magazines and bills, until something unfamiliar came to the top. There was no return address, and it was made out to me, in beautiful, fancy writing. Knowing that it wasn't my birthday or any special holiday, I was intrigued to find out what lay in the little, cream colored envelope.
I unlocked the front door, my eyes still on the envelope. I placed my breifcase and the other mail onto the kitchen counter, then proceeded to rip open the envelope, careful not to rip the contents. I pulled out a beautiful hand written card. It was a cream color, with sage green boarders, and written in metallicaly gold calligraphy. My eyes scanned the writing, my breath catching in my throat when I realized what it actually said.
I ran to my cell phone, searching through the contacts, knowing I didn't have to go far to find her number. I dialed it furiously, the ring tone mocking my lack of patience.
"Hey! You've reached Ashlynn. I'm sorry I'm not here...ohhh you know what to do. Leave it!" The phone beeped and I barged on.
"Ashlynn Taylor! Please tell me that what is in my hands is actually an invitation to your wedding to Kevin, and that this isn't a joke! I haven't talked to you in YEARS and I get THIS?! OH MY GOD!" I screeched, jumping up and down in pure excitement. I stopped, and realized that this behavior isnt' acceptable for a twenty-three year old woman.
"Ashlynn, call me back. Right away!" I said goodbye as I shut my cell phone, placing it on my bed. I held the invitaition in my hand. Ashlynn Taylor and Kevin were still together, just as I had thought. They were getting married on June 1. I could hardly believe that they had lasted as long as they did. They had been together for over five years. Five long, exciting years. I remember first meeting Ashlynn, and the events that had taken place.
*Flashback*
"I'm Ashlynn," she had said, taking a seat next to me. I had barely looked up to acknowledge her when she continued.
"Don't let them ruin your fun. Trust me, they're not worth it!" Ashlynn had been talking about Julia, Joe's ex-girlfriend, and her gang of friends. I was at a party, and they had been treating me horribly. I decided to leave the party early, but not before Ashlynn had gotten to me.
"Here," she said, writing something on my hand with eyeliner. "Call me. You're too cool not to be my friend."
*End Flashback*
I smiled as I looked at my hand, remembering everything that Ashlynn helped me through. The touring, the dating of her boyfriends brother, and the messy breakup. I dazed off, thinking about Joe. Then it hit me. I would be going to a wedding for Ashlynn and Kevin. Joe's brother Kevin. Meaning.....Joe would be at the wedding, where I was invited to. My eyes widened at the thought of it, and my heart suddenly dropped to the floor, leaving me panicked.
