Prologue
“I do” Melissa Williams said to the love of her life, Nick Jonas. “I do” Nick said to her. A single tear fell from Mel’s face. “I now pronounce you husband and wife” the minister said. Melissa wrapped her arms around Nick’s neck, and they kissed. Applause filled the Church. “I now present to you, Mr. And Mrs. Nicholas Jonas” he said. Nick turned and winked at me. Him and Melissa walked back down the isle. She was now no longer Melissa Williams, but Melissa Jonas. My sister-in-law. My 1st of the 3 I’ll get actually. Kevin and Joe had not yet gotten married, but Kevin was engaged, and Joe planned on asking his love soon. I knew that life would now never be the same.
That was a year and a half ago.
Now, all of my brothers had gotten married. Moved out, and left me alone. I’m Frankie Jonas, and this is my life. At 16. And it will never again be the same, ever.
Chapter 1 (no POV)
“C’mon Frankie” Jordyn Myers, Frankie’s very, very best friend yelled at him. “Okay. Okay” Frankie said. They were headed to a party at Justin, another one of Frankie’s best friends, and fellow football players, house. “I’m sure that Vanessa will be there. Actually, I know that she will, seeing that she’s on the cheerleading team” Jordyn said. “Shut-up. You haven’t told her that I like her have you?” Frank asked. “No. Don’t worry” Jordyn said. “Yet” “You better not. Or your life will so be over” Frankie told her. “Don’t sweat it. I won’t.” Jordyn said, flipping her dark brown hair with a few blonde highlights. “Well. Are we ready?” Frankie asked, grabbing his car keys. “Totally” Jordyn said, opening the front door of Frankie’s house. Frankie and Jordyn walked out of the house, and climbed into Frankie’s Jeep. The normal start of a normal Saturday for them. A normal week.
People usually told Frankie that he had the perfect life. His brothers were the Jonas Brothers for one thing. That attracts attention, sometimes. No-one really treats him differently though. He hates when people do. He has his own life now, and doesn’t like being known as the Bonus Jonas all the time. For another thing, he’s the star quarterback at school. Cute, funny, sweet, and totally popular. Perfect right? You’d think. Not when your parents want you to get a college scholarship and are pushing you to get it, your brothers all moved out one after another within a year and a half, your girlfriend just dumped you 2 weeks ago for the new foreign exchange student, and you have a huge zit growing on your forehead. Not so perfect now huh? And, the only people that he could possibly go to and not be judged at all and could tell anything and get advice from were your brother Nick and his wife Melissa (who are the coolest people ever, to him at least), yeah not so perfect at all.
Jordyn’s live wasn’t totally perfect and amazing either. Sure, her dad owned a bunch of stuff and was practically a millionaire. And her mom was an amazing interior designer, making millions also, but, both of her parents fought A LOT. Like, divorce fight. It was just a matter of time before they told her that they were divorcing she thought. And Frankie knew too. She’d told him everything that’d been happening at home. Horrible. And all of her siblings were a lot older, and moved out along time ago, halfway across the country actually. Sure, she was a cheerleader, and totally gorgeous, but not perfect either. Neither of them were. But they had eachother, and had been best friends since forever. They lived right across the street from eachother, and did practically everything together. They hung out together, shopped, ate lunch, everything. Even chilled at Nick and Mel’s house together, who Jordyn could also go to for anything. They were just those kind of people. They actually lived a couple blocks away from Frankie. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say that they were dating. But they were really just really, really close. Like brother and sister. And it’d never occurred to them that they could be more. They really could. But, they were just friends. For now at least.
