Hehe, glad you guys think it's funny :] That was what I was aiming for, here's another chapter for you lovely people X] "Dude, we came from the year 3000."
Chapter 3
The girls were sitting on top of the roof that covered the stage where the Jonas Brothers were performing. “Man, why does the name Jonas sound so familiar?” Madison asked looking over at the girls.
“I don’t know, ever date any weird guys named Jonas?” Loes joked giggling.
“Ew, that guy in Hoverboarding class is so ew.” Madison said as she peered over the roof a bit seeing Kevin slide down the stage. Alana had been peering over it the whole time, it looked like she was breathless. “Well these boys aren’t that bad.” Courtney said as she sat down next to Alana and looked over the stage.
“Hellooo, Alana.” Courtney said as she moved her hand up and down in front of her face.
Alana snapped out of it. “Uh yeah?” She quickly said smiling.
“Are you looking at the guy with the guitar and spiky hair?” Courtney asked smirking, Sarah giggled seeing Alana turn a light shade of pink.
“No!” Alana defended, seeing the disbelieving face expressions of all the girls made her surrender. “Okay fine, maybe.” Alana admitted.
The girls smirked. “Oi Sarah, it’s not like you haven’t been staring at the lead singer the whole time.” Loes teased with a foolish smirk etched on her face.
“Well he has a good voice.” Sarah countered, as the Jonas Brothers were performing: “Kids of the future.” Loes flipped out her iPhone 3000 and recorded it, she liked the tune.
“Ooh yeah, we are the kids from the future.” Madison said as she and Sarah started to dance to the music.
Loes, Alana and Courtney got up and joined in, as they were hovering above the roof while dancing to the music.
“For the lousy technology, they sound pretty cool.” Loes admitted as she stopped dancing, the other girls agreed.
“Are you kidding? For this technology they sound amazing.” Courtney said laughing lightly.
“We gotta steer clear of them though, if the boy with the curls sees Loes again he’ll know he wasn’t dreaming.” Sarah said as she couldn’t tear her eyes away from the lead singer.
“He was dreaming either way, I mean he was practically drooling.” Madison said laughing.
Loes squinted her eyes at Madison. “Well, maybe we should head back to the time machine, maybe my dad’s figured something out.” Loes suggested.
“Or, we could go meet those guys.” Alana said as Sarah stood next to her nodding excessively.
Loes, Madison and Courtney eyed each other and started laughing.
“What?!” Alana and Sarah asked in unison.
“Someone’s crushing on a certain guitarist.” Courtney said giggling as she looked at Sarah. “And someone’s crushing a certain lead singer.” Madison added looking at Sarah as Alana and Sarah both blushed a light shade of red.
“Ooh I know a good pick up line.” Loes said jumping up and down, but before crashing on the roof her hover boots kicked in so she just hovered a few inches above the roof. “Hey, I’m from the future, so I know we’re meant to be together.” Loes said in a deep voice, laughing at her random and lousy pick up line.
The girls laughed. “Yeah, that’d probably freak them out.” Sarah said scratching her head.
“They probably wouldn’t believe us.” Alana added shrugging.
“We should research these Jonas Brothers.” Courtney said as she pressed one of the beads on her bracelet and a holographic projection came out with a touch screen keyboard. “This is too awesome.” Courtney murmured as she typed in: “Jonas Brothers”
The girls gathered round Courtney. “Yep that’s them.. Kevin.” Alana said smiling as she saw a picture of the boy she had been staring at, with a caption under it: “Kevin Jonas rocking on the guitar.” Sarah smiled when she saw Joe. “Hmhmm.. Joe.” She thought to herself. “Okay, let’s do a bit deeper research now.” Loes said as a family tree popped up.
“Wait, that’s me!” Madison yelped pointing at a branch which said: “Madison Lively, 2985 – present.” Sarah laughed. “You’re related to them! You’re .. Joe Jonas’ great, great, great granddaughter.” Sarah exclaimed giggling.
“Whoa, dudes that’s weird.” Madison said as a shudder ran down her spine.
“Man, that is so cool – that probably explains why the name Jonas sounded familiar to you.” Loes said smiling.
“Booyah, I’m related to a rock band from a 1000 years ago!” Madison yelped giggling.
The girls were caught off guard when Joe had climbed up one of the stands that held up the roof of the stage, he had climbed on the roof and was also surprised finding five girls sitting on the roof. He just kept singing looking at them confused. “We’re the kids of the future!” He yelped in his microphone as he stood on the edge of the roof waving to the crowd. “Thank you and good day New York!” He yelped and then turned off his microphone.
“Who are you?” Joe asked looking at the girls, his eyes drifted off to Sarah and he couldn’t tear his eyes away as he just kept smiling at her.
“Uh, we? We’re from the future.” Loes said, knowing he’d take it as a joke.
Joe looked at them strangely and burst out into laughing. “Oh right, that’s a good one.” He examined each girl, one by one – they were dressed a bit oddly, well fashion had changed a lot in the Year 3000.
“So who are you?” Joe asked again ruffling in his shaggy dark brown hair.
“Joseph!? Come down from there!” Kevin’s voice yelled from backstage.
“I’m Loes.” Loes said slightly raising her hand.
“Courtney.” Courtney said as she flipped her sandy blonde hair.
Alana smiled and waved. “Hey, I’m Alana.” She said in a cheerful voice.
“Sarah.” Sarah said smiling as she slightly blushed when Joe beamed at her.
Madison stood there in amazement staring at her great, great, great grandfather. “Uh hey, I’m Madison.” Madison said, it freaked her out when she and Joe at the same time ran their hands through their hair.
Loes giggled at Madison’s freaked out expression.
“Uh you guys wanna come down, and meet my brothers?” Joe asked as he was on the edge of the roof, ready to climb back down.
“Yeah!” Alana cried out happily.
Joe laughed. “Oh okay, come on down then.” Joe said as he climbed down.
“Do we have to climb down?” Loes moped sighing.
“No, we are so hovering.” Sarah said as she folded out her board and subtly hovered down, being followed by the other girls who hovered down as their feet hit the ground as they clicked off their hover boots.
“Hey, how’d you guys come down?” Joe asked confused seeing the girls down before him.
“Dude, we came from the year 3000.” Courtney said in a ‘duh’ toned voice.
Joe laughed – he still of course reckoned they were joking. “Come on, you guys probably wanna meet Nick and Kevin.” Joe said as he took the girls backstage.
