Chapter 2
~Kevin's POV~
After everyone left I walked into the living room where Madison was playing with her dolls.I smiled as I stood there watching her.The thing was I could remember her mom when we were that age and how we would play house.I sighed running my fingers through my hair as I walked into the room.
"Alright Maddie bedtime."I said softly as she looked up at me.
"Aww daddy can't I stay up a little later?"She asked as she rubbed her eyes as they started to get droopy.
I laughed a little and shook my head.
"If you stay up any later then you'll end up falling asleep down here."I said sofly as I walked over to her and picked her up"Besides we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."
"Ok."She said softly as she laid her head on my shoulders and slowly closed her eyes.
I walked into her room as I got her dressed into her pajama's and then laid her into her bed.I read her a story like I did every night and then she said her prayers.I watched as she slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep before I kissed her head and slowly got up off her bed anad turned her light off as I walked to my room and slowly got undressed before my head hit the pillow.I knew I would have trouble sleeping though because of everything that was going on.

I quickly jumped up as soon as I heard Madison crying.I looked over at the clock it was only two in the morning and I had just drifted off to sleep.I slowly walked to her room where she was sitting up and clutching the teddy bear that I had given her.
"Maddie sweetheart what's wrong?"I asked as I walked into the room.
"I had a scary dream."She said through tears as she quickly climbed into my lap as soon as I sat down.
I sighed she had been having alot of bad dreams lately.
"Come on you can sleep with me."I said softly as I got up and we headed out of her room and into mine.
I laid her down in my bed before I climbed in next to her and we both drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I got up and fixed breakfast for me and Madison before we got dressed and waited around for Joe.He was supposed to coming over to help me with interviewing for a nanny.I told Maddie that she was to stay in her room while I was working.It wasn't easy though because she wanted to stay downstairs and play with uncle Joe but after me talking with her she finally stopped crying about it.
"Ready?"Joe asked me as I walked down the stairs"They're all in the living room."
I nodded my head as I walked in there looking at them all half of them looked like they had just gotten out of highschool but there was one imparticular that caught my eye.
She looked about 5'7" from what I could tell from where she was standing she had shoulder length chocolate brown hair with thick side bangs,her skin was naturaly tanned and she had wierd hazel looking eyes though they looked more green.
"Alright guys I'm going to interview each and everyone of you."I said taking a deep breathe"If I pick you you'll be coming on tour with my family to watch my daughter."
They all nodded there heads.

We had interviewed most of the girls and so far I didn't like any of them because all they could talk about was the band and how much they loved it.I sighed as I walked into the room there was only one girl left and that was the one who had caught my eye earlier.Joe handed me some of her papers as I smiled at her and sat down opposite of her on the couch.
"So tell me a little about yourself."I said softly.
"Well my names Nicole but if you want you can call me Niki,I love kids umm I'm a generally happy person I love to laugh,I'm independant and creative,my family means the world to me and they've taught me so much."She said softly smiling at me"And I think the rest is on the paper your holding."
I smiled a little as I looked down at the paper.
I was really impressed with this girl there was just something about her that made me want to hire her.
"Daddy."I heard from the door and I looked up to see Madison standing there"I'm hungry."
I sighed as I slowly got up.
"Well Niki."I said as she stood up"I think you got the job."
"Really?"She asked.
I nodded my head.
"Yeah."I said"I'll call you with the details of the tour and everything."
She nodded her head before I walked her to the door.I shook her hand before I watched her walk out to her car.I slowly shut the door only to have Joe smiling at me.
"What?"I asked as I walked into the kitchen both him and Maddie following behind her.
"You like her."He said.
That hit my heart I hadn't even thought about her like that.
"Joe don't."I said shaking my head.
Joe's smile turned into a frown when he saw the look on my face.
"Kev,it's been three years."He said softly"Abbi would have wanted you to move on."
"I'm not ready to like anyone right now."I said shaking my head as I fixed a sandwhich for Madison.
