Here you go!!
Elizabeth’s POV
I sat on the couch in the Jonas’s living room, and watched Frankie play with his Webkins, but all the time I was thinking about Nick, and how he hadn’t been himself lately. I mean, I hadn’t known him my whole life, but just enough to know he was acting mean for small simple silly things. Like last night, right before the family left, he had acted up and got mad at Joe for giving him his hat. I was in a fog with my thoughts, until Frankie spoke up.
“Elizabeth, can we eat something, I’m kind of hungry,” Frankie said, and then rubbed his stomach.
“Sure, I’ll get right at it,” I said with relief that he spoke, or else I would have contemplated every single thing wrong with Nick, even though there wasn’t anything, except for the fact that he was acting not like himself.
I got off of my warm spot on the couch, and then padded over to their inviting kitchen with my slippers on. I spotted some mac and cheese, and decided to see if Frankie wanted some.
“Frankie, do you want Macaroni and Cheese?” I said, while getting out a pan and filling it with water, sure he was going to say yes, which he did.
My mind drifted back to Nick and I thought about how skinny he was, and how he was acting weird, until I told myself I really need to stop worrying about him, seriously, what if its just the way he is. I was still talking to myself in my mind, until I smelt something, and it smelt bad, I broke through my thoughts, and looked at the macaroni and cheese, shoot, it was burnt all of it.
“Uh, Elizabeth, what is that?” Frankie said, as he crept behind me and pointed towards the black mush that was stuck to the bottom of the pan.
“It was supposed to be Mac and Cheese, but I ruined it, so lets get some pizza instead,” I said with a sad note in my voice. The phone was sitting around here somewhere, so I went back into the living room, and found it lying on the little table next to the door that led outside. I dialed Dominoes number, and ordered us a large pepperoni with olives pizza.
We sat on the couch and watched a movie until the pizza delivery guy came to the door, and gave us the pizza, and I paid him with the money Mrs. Jonas gave me just in case.
“Hey, Frank, is it good,” I asked him, while watching him stuff about a whole piece into his mouth.
“Mmmmm, Gats Gwood,” Frankie said with his mouth stuffed full.
“Ok, well, its almost 9:00, so you should go get ready for bed, and brush your teeth,” I said, while setting down my pizza and turning off the TV.
“Ok,” Frankie said, and gave me a hug and went up into the bathroom to get ready.
When he was done getting ready, I went up to his and Joe’s room, and tucked him in, and he said his prayers.
“Dear God, I just wanted to say thanks a lot for letting me have a wonderful babysitter, and thank you a lot for my family, and good food, and hugs, and Webkins, and of course my brothers, Joe is really fun to play with, Kevin is a really good guitar player, and so is Nick, but I especially wanted to pray for Nick, he is just not acting normal, he’s been mean to me a lot today, and a couple days ago, and he never is, I just wanted to say that he’s really a good brother, and whatever’s wrong with him, could you please fix it, and thanks for my mom and dad, their awesome,” Frankie said his prayers, while I was standing in the doorway. Man, this little guy could detect if something was wrong with his brothers really fast.
I went back downstairs, and prayed for Nick also, I mean if a little six year old could, I could too. I bowed my head, and started to pray for everything and everyone in my life.
