PART 2
Kevin Jonas opened the thick envelope that he had been dying to get since he had sent his last reply. He loved writing to Eli, his pen-pal. She treated him like a normal kid. Not that she knew that she was probably the only one.
Pulling out the pink and white stationary he smiled, there was no denying it, the letter was definitely from a girl. Unfolding the paper he stared down at her hand writing and began to read.
Hey there Paul,
I guess all things on my end are doing good, I am swamped with homework and work but then again that's no different since the last time that I wrote to you. Ben and Emilee are great. How are Nick, Joe and Frankie?
Lately, I have been really missing my mom. Emilee is great about it, though. When I feel sad, she comes and helps me. She is such a great little sister. I wish she was a little older when my mom died, though. She was so little, she barely knew her. I have been thinking a lot about all the great things mom used to do when i was a little girl. It makes me extremely sad that Emilee will never know how great mom truly was. I mean she will never be able to dance to no music in the middle of the night or be able to try and sing some of mom' s favorite songs to her on mothers day. Not that I did those things because that would be totally uncool. As my little sister would say, LoL.
Which reminds me, my little sister has been really into this thing called email lately. Its been around for a while, but we just got our first computer in our house, and we don't have a TV. Or a cell phone. But Emilees friend has all of those things, and she taught me and Emilee how to use it. It's really brilliant. Do you have an email?
Anyway, to answer your question, Yes I got a 92 out of 100 on my psychology test! I was so totally stoked! I got the highest grade in all three of my professor’s classes. Totally made my day. Speaking of school, Ben is loving his tutor. Of course, that's probably because she is my age has perfect hair flawless skin and wears shirts that are two sizes to small. Personally, I don’t like her but all the guys around the two mile radius of our house obviously do because they always seem to be near by when she is over. Its quite annoying, actually, but some of them are very polite. That is, until they see her. Then they lose every ounce of maturity. Anyway, I was wondering what state you would be in about six months. My dad is thinking of letting me come to the United States! I’m so excited! I haven't been home in so long! I was thinking of stopping off in New York for a few days then heading home to California to go see my grandmother. She lives just outside of Beverly Hills, if you know where that is. Anyways, I better get going. I have History 108 and English 104 tonight! Wish me luck! I am giving my life story in five minutes to my English class!
Well I will be waiting for your response. Your dear friend. – Eli
He folded up the letter, and put it in the box with every other letter that he had gotten from her, since third grade. Thinking about what he should write as a response, he grabbed some paper, and a pencil, and set them on the table.
But before he had a chance to write anything on the paper he was interrupted by the familiar voices of his brothers.
"Hey Kevin! What are you up to?" Nick asked curiously.
As Joe walked closer he spotted the paper and a mocking smile came to his face.
"So Kevin are we writing love letters again?"
Kevin blushed, and muttered, "No."
Joe went over to the box that he knew Kevin kept his letters in, and opened it up.
Grabbing the newest edition, he started reading.
"Ooh, Kevie-Wevie, you get to MEET her soon!"
Kevin jumped up and tried to grab the letter from Joe but Joe had already slide it down the nearby table towards Nick.
"Look Nick! Kevin finally gets to meet his true love face to face! Isn't it exciting."
Once again chasing after the letter Kevin started to walk over to Nick who was now reading the letter.
"Aww Kevin. How cute is that. Isn't that cute, Joseph?"
"Very cute."
Nick tossed the letter back to Kevin, and him and Joe left the room. It seemed like they had finished tormenting him for now. But, on the bus ride, he was sure that they would get bored, and go back to tormenting.
So he quickly took his paper once again, writing like a mad man, trying to write his letter before his brothers came back and tried to embarrass the living daylights out of him.
