I was sitting in the back of the bus, on the infamous black wrap around couches, upside down. I was blasting my ipod, tuning the rest of the world out, and reading a magazine. I finally noticed the boys came in when they all plopped onto the couch in unison. Then the bus started moving.

I rolled around, so I could sit regular, I accidentally kicked nick in the arm. But he didn’t even notice. Seeing all of them sad, made me sad. Like always, their moods effects mine. “you know that was the first time I cried in like 2 years.” I said, breaking the silence. “ yeah, I thought you would’ve held it in” joe looked up and said. “ yeah, like old times.” nick sarcastically added. We finally all cracked a smile. “ well, Alabama is definitely a place to come back to.” Kevin said while stretching his arms up. “where are we playing tomorrow?” nick asked. “tomorrow road time, we’re going to Michigan” joe said, just as surprised as everyone else that he actually knew. … “whens the next time you think you’ll be able to see them?” I said kind of hesitantly. “I plan on coming back as soon as possible.” Kevin said confidently. “ yeah, its not going to be tomorrow or anything.” joe continued. “ but it’ll definitely happen” nick finished. “yeah” I said softly. “ and besides, you’ll definitely be talking to them like 24/7” they all just smiled and nodded. “well, its pretty late, I’m gonna call it a night.” Kevin said as he got up. “night” joe Nick and I said all together. Kevin closed the bathroom door behind him, and Joe began to say “ does anyone else notice that huge arrow sticking out of Kevin’s back?” Understanding Joseph’s sarcasm, I replied “ oh yeah, there it is.” while Nick just looked at us in confusion, saying “ what! what arrow?” Joe and I started laughing so I clued Nick in. “you know, cupids arrow… Alison…Kevin….get it?”

“OOOHHHHH…haha” nick answered. “he still doesn’t getting it” joe added. “ yeah, I really don’t” he admitted. “put it this way, Kevin feels the same way about Alison the way you feel about Nina and Joe about Kay, Kevin just seems to be taking it a little harder then you two.” “okay I understand now, for real..night I add.” he said while laughing. “ alright well I’m out” joe said patting Nick and I on the head. “ night joe” nick called. “ night djdanJa” I said giggling.

“oh nick, while we’re sitting here having a real heart to heart” I began saying, “ I just want to thank you.”

“your quite welcome. But why are you thanking me?”

“ well, theres a whole list haha, but basically for the song that I heard you wrote… and pretty much just being you. Your like definitely made of steel or something, because you’ve been through so much, I’ve learned so much from you, you may be younger, but you’re my role model. You always seem like you feel no pain.”

“but seriously, its cause you’re an amazing girl, and I couldn’t have gotten through everything with out you guys. Just like when you were diagnosed with scoliosis, we stuck by you when you refused to wear your brace. And you wore it and now your done. I may not be able to stop treating my diabetes like you were able to stop your scoliosis treatment, but knowing that I have you joe, Kevin, Frankie, mom and dad , and apparently all my fans, I know that I can reach my tomorrow, and hold my head up high.”
