CHAPTER 5

We got home and it was about 5:45, apparently late enough that mom couldn’t wait to order the pizza “its in the oven” she said sweetly as all 4 of us stood in the door way. “sorry, we were hungry.” dad added. The boys took their first slices and went into the den. I ran up stairs quickly to put my stuffy down and fix my now messed up make up. I came down and the kitchen was empty so I grabbed my pizza and took a seat. While I ate, I started thinking about how fortunate I was. I had the most amazing family and friends. And today I learned about my friends. If I didn’t have those friends my lyrics would be like “ tell all my friends im dead, im leaving you, this time its for good. Tell all my friends that im dead, it wont be long before you forget my name.” but no I have amazing friends, and the new song Im finishing up expresses all the good times we have. I got up and threw away my plate. I walked towards the den hearing my brothers play an unfamiliar tune. All I heard out of the lyrics was Joe singing “ she lives next door to me.” and Kevin looked at me and they all stopped suddenly. “ yeah we gotta work on SOS” nick quickly said.and right away Kevin began playing. I honestly didn’t even think to be suspicious because Nick was always like that, perfecting everything. So I shrugged it off and grabbed all their plates off the coffee table and put them in the kitchen. Then I came back with my notebook in hand and attempted to put a beat to my new song. After many failed attempts I decided to go up stairs and finish packing. Leaving my note book behind.
