I Can't Turn Back My first on site FF - Sorry if it's not the best! Still a little new Chapter 1 The bell rang, it rung loudly in the halls. A slight humming of voices and the banging of the students' feet stomping the floor followed as the students left class to go to lunch. The many kids directed themselves to their lockers to get their lunches or to do other things, which is what this particular girl and her friends did. These five girls were hardly ever spoken to, but they never cared, they much rathered taking with eachother. Their names were Katie, Karine, Melissa, Heather and Ashlee. Each of them was in a way unique from the other. Melissa was the more serious one of them all, Heather was the shy one. Ashlee was the smartest, well not that the others weren't. Katie was mainly the most considerit, which leaves Karine. She was the most out going. All of them shared these qualities though and they were all very random. "Hey guys." Karine said as she met up with the others at their usual lunch table. "Hey," The others replied as she sat down. They all ate a little then, as normal, would start talking. "Hey Heather, what are you looking at?" Ashlee said. Heather was looking past them, a little bit in a daze. "Heather?!" Ashlee said again, giving her friend a nudge. Heather came back to her normal self, looking confused and losst looking at Ashlee. "What'cha looking at?" She repeated. "...Oh, nothing." She replied, quickly taking a sp of her water. The looked in the direction in which she was looking. There was nobody there, nobody but Kevin. This guy no one really knew or talked to. The girls turned back to Heather. "Kevin?" Katie said, "You like him?" "What? No..." Heather replied quickly, looking very guilty. The girls looked at her, slightly smiling, knowing she was lying. "...fine! I do!" She finally admited, lightly blushing. (This is only a start, I'm not done the first Chapter, I just want to know what you people think before I go on.)

Ok going on;

Chapter 1 (continuted)

All the girls smiled, they were happy that she had a crush on someone. "Well, you should go ask him out, or at least go talk to him." Melisa said. "Go on!" She added wanting to nudge her, but they were on opposite sides of the table. Heather didn't want to get up, but she finally did as soon as Ashlee nudged her again. Heather walked over to the empty table, grabing her arm as she did. Karine, Katie, Melissa and Ashlee looked at her go.

"Er... hi." Heather said as she finally got to him and found him reading. She was terribly shy normally but twice as bad this time. ".....I-I'm Heather." She could finally say. Kevin had looked up at her, closing his book. "Kevin," He replied, smiling. The girls could see Heather smile back and they could sense that she was less shy. They turned back to their own things, they knew Heather didn't need to be looked after, she was the oldest anyway.

"I think it's cute." Karine said, the others' nodded. They looked back over at Heather and Kevin they were both walking towards them. "Hey Heather, who's this?" Karine asked, even though she knew who is was. Heather introduced every one to Kevin and vise-versa. All the girls found that he was quite nice and all talked for a while then the bell rang again, it was time to get ready for class. They all got up and went to their lockers. The things they didn't enjoy was that their lockers were so far away from eachother but they had to deal with it. Karine walked to her locker, she grabbed her lock and turned it to the numbers of her conbination pulling on it and it wouldn't open. She got a little stressed because she couldn't be late for class.

Not to far from her locker is where most of the popular people would hang out around the two most popular boys' lockers and tending to her own business, Karine could still over hear everything they all said.
