Chapter 2
"So are we doing tonight?" Said Sarah. Sarah was one of the popular girls, she tought and would tell everyone that she was with Joe. But, obviously she wasn't and she refused to accept it. Sarah grabbed onto Joe's arm and he kept on pushing her off. "Sarah, I told you, we're not a couple!" Joe said back, pushing her off again. Joe was getting annoyed of her and he really didn't want to be around her. Sarah was always on him and never left him alone. Never. "You're so funny Joe, of course we are." Sarah replied, then got pushed away again.
Nick, Joe's brother, laughed slightly. "Well Joe, it looks like you are being followed then." He chuckled. Nick was in his own relationship with his girlfriend Julia, who wasn't there at the moment but at least Julia wasn't just pretending to be with him. It had been a few months that they were together. "Ok, seriously we should get to class now." Said Ashlynn, another popular girl that hung out with them.
"Ashlynn's right, we should go." Nick agreed. Then they set off for their classes.

Chapter 2 (continued)
Joe had a different class then the others that periode and went to class without them. He walked into his Science class and sat down in the back, which he always did. The second bell rang and the classes started. "Now, good afternoon everyone. Today we are starting a project, it will be in teams of two, which I have already chosen so you don't end up with the same person every time." The teacher said. All the students made disapointed growns, none of them wanted to be paired off by the teacher, they all wanted to pick their own partners. "Oh, now. Come on class, it won't be that bad. I'll tell you all your partners right now." She said, then opened her binder and took out the list.
"Now, Sandra will be with Micheal. Ben with Harley, Taylor with Andrew. Joe with Karine, and Haidden with Josh. Bob will be with Angela, and Eric with Joy. Tristan and Yanik. Kristina with Mathiew and finally Sebastian with Shawna." The teacher finnished then, after putting away her list, turned to the board and started to wirte. "Now, the project is on molding bread. You will have two slices of bread, either white, whole wheat or one of each. You may chose to test out which one will mold ..." Joe stopped listening. All he thought was who this Karine person was. He had never hurd of her, yet, he didn't know many people that weren't popular anyways.
"...Now come get a paper and pair up. Diside on what experiment you will be testing and come get two slices of bread and two bags." The teacher finnished, turning back to the class. Students slowly started to get up and find their partners and talking about the project. Joe didn't get up, on the other hand he had no idea who his partner was.
