Chapter 3 (complete)
Karine out her books together and got up. She to the back of the class and sat down across of Joe, putting down her books on the desk. “...hi.” She said timidly. She wasn't nervous to be with him for this project, she just felt odd talking to him because they ran in different circles as they would say. “Hey.” Joe greeted her back. They got to work afterwards, the work wasn't that hard.
The next few days went the same way. Kevin joined the girls at lunch, Karine worked on her Science project with Joe, and Nick was still with Julia. Everyone one else was the same as well. About two weeks later, Kevin asked out Heather, all the girls were happy for them because they were perfect for each other. Karine and Joe had good become friends and many other things were happening.
“So guys I was thinking we should all go catch a movie tonight. What do you think?” Ashlee said as they ate lunch as normal, at there normal lunch table and stuff. “Yeah, sounds good.” Melissa said. The other agreed, even Kevin. So, they all got there stuff together and went off the there class. Karine got to her locker, turning the lock and pulled on it again. “Drat” She said as it wouldn't open again. She tried once more, finally it opened, and only a minute to spare before the bell. She quickly put away her lunchbox and took her books, stuffing them into her bag, quickly locking her locker and ran to her class, avoiding teachers.
She walked through the door a few seconds before the bell. She sighed, she was on time. She went to sit with Joe again, yes their project was finished but they had become good friends and the teacher thought they worked well together. “Hey.” She said as she dropped her bag onto the floor.
“Hey,” He replied smiling. Karine smiled back, taking out her stuff. “Hey, me and my friends are going to a movie for fun tonight, want to come?” She said, inviting him. She knew it was no problem, because some of the others had invited an extra friend.
Joe looked to the front of the classroom then back at her. “Sure, sounds like fun.” He said. “But, I can’t tonight… I forgot I had something. But, you want to go Saturday? Just us? It doesn’t have to be a date or anything…” He added, a little nervous at the end. Karine was taken aback. “Um, sure I’d like that.” She said, smiling.
