Chapter Three
JOE CHEATS!
“Hey Joe just moved four spaces,” Loes says pointing out his action.
“What,” Madison asks?
“Joe just moved his piece four place! It wasn’t even his turn,” Loes replies.
“Oh you guys don’t know. JOE CHEATS,” Stephani says loudly.
“You cheat do you,” Keiko asks with a laugh?
“Why I would never,” Joe answers shaking his head.
“Need I remind you that the last time I played Go Fish with you, you won in one hand because you dealt yourself all pairs,” Stephani says with a little smile.
“I did no such thing,” Joe answers.
“Joe cheats at games especially when he knows he can’t win. Except Guitar Hero that game he just looses badly,” Kevin tells the girls.
“How can you not win at Go Fish it’s a game of chance,” Cara says.
“Joe’s not good at games involving luck or skill or talent…” Hayden says causing Joe give her a nasty look.
“That’s totally not true,” Joe replies.
“Yea it totally is,” Madison says with a little laugh.
“It’s okay we still love you,” Stephani tells him.
“It’s nice to know you love me even though you don’t think I can do anything right. Whose idea was it to play this game,” Joe frowns.
“Yours. I’m gonna quote you here Joe. ‘Hey let’s play Monopoly it’s so much fun.’ Or do you not remember saying that,” Loes asks teasing?
“I remember saying that. Who agreed to let me play this game,” Joe asks?
“You forced us into it Joseph. We didn’t want to play we wanted to watch movies,” Keiko replies with a grin.
“Yea I know… Who thought letting me decide what to do was a good idea,” Joe pouts.
“None of us really but we wanted to see where you would go with it,” Nick answers.
“Okay I vote we watch a movie now,” Joe says causing Stephani, Madison and Hayden to all laugh.
“Nope we are playing Monopoly and we are going to make sure that you don’t cheat Mr. Jonas,” Stephani says poking him in the chest.
“Ow,” Joe mutters causing Keiko to lean over and kiss him softly.
“Now stop being a big baby! It’s my turn right guys,” Keiko asks smiling?
“Yea go Keiko,” Loes replies.
Keiko rolls and when no one is looking Joe knocks his piece forward. Cara turns back and sees that Joe is no longer ‘just visiting’ the jail house and now is on the electric company.
“He’s doing it again,” Cara accuses.
“I do not cheat! I do not like you people falsely accusing me of cheating at a little kid game,” Joe frowns.
“If only I didn’t have proof,” Loes says with a grin on her face.
“Proof,” Joe asks paling?
Loes pulls out her camera and puts it in front of Joe’s face. She starts the video and Joe watches himself as he moves his piece out of jail and onto the electric company.
“Okay maybe I do cheat,” he says shakily.
“Maybe? Joe you cheat like the world depends on it. But it’s okay,” Cara laughs.
“Yea I mean I totally stole like five tens from you when you weren’t paying attention,” Stephani grins from next to Joe.
“Hey,” Joe protests trying to grab some of her money.
“Keep your sticky fingers away from my cash,” Stephani screams before shoving it under her legs.
“WonderCabbage you are hilarious,” Loes tells her.
“Thanks SuperSpinach,” Stephani grins in return.
