Hey guys! I'm the least talented half of this joint! I'm Ashley, and Ashlynn is practically forcing me to write a joint with her, not that I mind because that girl is awesome! It's my first joint fanfic, and I'm nervous about it, but you guys judge for yourself!
My part is first, because Ashlynn said so. :) Enjoy!
Ashley's Point of View
I watched sullenly as my mom and dad drove away for the millionth time. They never told me or my sister Ashlynn where they were going, and we were smart enough to know better than to ask. They could be drug dealers or mobsters for all we knew. But we got what we wanted, material wise, so we didn’t complain much. It would have been nice to have an actual mom and dad though, instead of virtual strangers in our own home.
Sighing, I threw myself on my king size bed and called my puppy, Pepper, to my side. Pepper was a small, fluffy little ball of fuzz, and though I’d always wanted a puppy, she’s not what I would have picked. But my dad got her for me, so I loved her anyway.
Playing with her absentmindedly, I was surprised when Ashlynn walked into my room. Though we often came and went into each other’s rooms unannounced, it was always a surprise when she walked into mine. I guess I just get startled easily.
“Hey!” She said, bouncing on my bed. Ashlynn was an unusual person, but she was my sister and best friend. I don’t know how she could be so happy all the time. It was weird. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an emotional person, and I am happy with my life, but I’m not bouncing off the walls all the time like she is.
“Yo,” I said, nodding my head. I pretended to be gangster sometimes. It was fun, and made me lighten up a little bit now and then.
Laughing, Ashlynn just rolled over and grabbed Pepper. “So, where do you think they’re going?” She asked.
“Who knows?” I just said, letting my mind wander over the possibilities for a second before shrugging it off. I’d given up on trying to figure out their secret lives a long time ago. I just needed to live my own life.
