sorry it took so long for me to write a chapter.....i had a bad case of writers block and i belive it shows in this chapter....sorry again :(
CHAPTER 4
“This way please” the man said as he led us to our table.
I had to admit I had met lots of famous people…but this time…I was actually nervous.
“Honey are you ok?” My mom asked kindly as we stepped into the elevator.
“Yea I’m good” I smiled
“Just kind of nervous I guess” I said as I played with my bracelets.
We rode up to the top floor and the man led us to our table…that was currently occupied by several smiling faces.
As we approached the table everyone stood up. We all introduced ourselves to each other shook hands and gave out hugs before sitting down.
Nick pulled out my chair for me.
“Thanks” I replied.
While our parents were chatting I and all four Jonas boys tried desperately to keep a conversation going.
“So umm….was your flight good?” Joe said.
“It was fine” I said as I continued to play with my bracelets.
“Ummm….you know what you’re ordering yet?” Kevin said looking up from his menu.
“Um…no not yet” I said trying to relax myself.
“Well…um…I’ve heard the ribs were good” Nick said.
“I’m actually not a big beef person” I said
“Oh” Nick said directing his attention back on his menu.
I had always envisioned meeting the Jonas Brothers but….not like this…
“Um….I think I’m gonna get the chicken parm” I said setting my menu on the table.
“That sounds good” Joe said setting his menu down as well.
“I think that’s what I’ll get too” He said with a smile.
I'm only up when your'e not down.
Don't wanna fly if your'e still on the ground.
It's like no matter what I do.
Well you drive me crazy half the time;
the other half im only trying to let you know that what I feel is true.
And I'm only me when I'm with you.
I looked at the caller ID it read: Josh <3
“Um…will you excuse me for just a moment?” I said backing up my chair.
“Uh sure…” all four Jonas boys said in almost unison.
I walked slightly away to a window that over looked the beach.
“Hey” I said as I answered my phone.
“Hey Hun…How dinner with the Jonas’s?” Josh said
“Actually not so great….I cant think of anything to say to them…lets just say the conversation is dead” I said with a sigh
“Sorry to hear that” He said
“Hun I got to get back to the dinner” I said glancing over at the table where Joe was now entertaining himself by playing with his fork.
“Oh right….sorry sweetie” he said
“Talk to ya soon k?” I said
“Ok…Love you” He said
“Love ya too” I said
“Bye” I said as I hung up the phone
When I came back to the table our food had arrived….
“Since you weren’t here I just ordered the chicken parm for you” Nick said
“Oh thanks” I said as I sat down.
“So you guys looking forward to the tour” I asked.
“If it’s as dull as this dinner…I’m going to sleep all the way through it” Frankie said
“OW!” Frankie blurted out
I could tell Kevin had just kicked him under the table
“He’s kinda has a point” I confessed.
“I’m sorry I’m just….nervous” I said looking down at my plate.
“There’s no reason to be nervous” Kevin said looking at me with that older brother look.
“I know” I said
“I don’t think this setting helps much” Joe said straightening his tie.
I had to admit wearing a skirt and heals and going to a formal restuant was not my idea of “relaxing fun”.
“I have an idea” Joe said mischievously.
“Oh no” Nick said rolling his eyes.
“No this time it’s a good one!” Joe said to his defense.
“Yea Joe that’s what you always say right before we get grounded” Kevin said
Joe stuck his tongue out at Kevin and got up and walked towards the Adults table.
Moments later he returned.
“Come on guys lets go” He said with a smile
“Go…Go where?” Kevin asked.
“Just follow me” He said as he began to walk towards the elevators.
“Correction that’s what he says before we get grounded” Kevin said as he stood up.
“But yet we always go along with his crazy schemes…” Nick said pulling out my chair for me.
Frankie decided to stay with the Adults and the four of us piled into the elevator.
